hi therei got a problem with one of my sceneries. i have installed zurich airport add-on and i have added an AFCAD file.no matter how many times i modify the AFCAD file, the airport has only visual runways for the MS ATC. ILS frequencies are weird too, as in my FMC i entered landing on RWY 16 (110.50) and when landing i see myself lined up with RWY 14.where could be the problem?any help is welcomecheersMartin

When I try to change the weather by using a theme or downloading real weather, the system crashes. I can start a default flight without any clouds but as soon as I try to change something of the weater, the hard drive starts some search activity and FS9 crashes.I'm sorry to say but as far as I know, the latest change of the system was updating FSUIPC to the lates version.Can anyone help me.

Hi guys,I've been considering buying the 727 from captain sim but my only worry is that my screen resolution is too small. I run it at 1024x768 and I know the 727 was designed for 1600x1200 so will the size reduction make my panels unreadable,like the number on the airspeed indicator or the engine gauges too small?PS: I tried to post that on captain sim's forum but it seems that you need to be a regitered owner to be able to post there.Thanks in advance,Nick

FSD is proposeing to do a Cessna Citation (not the X model but hey it's another Business Jet). I think we should show our support for this new development. I for one would love to see them do a Citation over any other model. What do you guys think???

Hello everyone,I was just wondering if anyone knew where I can find POH's in PDF format for various aircraft. I have 172 and 152 POH's for my flight training but I wanted some for some of the bush aircraft I fly so I can do more realistic flight planning. Aircraft such as the Scout, Cessna 195, Cessna Caravan, 182, Beech King Air, etc are what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the real life manufacturers POH btw.

I set the advanced weather for overcast stratus (8/8), low ceilings, poor visibility, and moderate cloud tops. I take off in realistic IMC based on my settings. However, when I break out on top the cloud cover below is then showing only a broken condition with good vis under it. Descending back down into it, it is realistic as per settings again. Anyway to keep the condition continuous overcast while flying on top? Thanks...Roger

This may be of interest to those who seek to know a little about the difference between the types of additions to the FS9 Scenery Library:- Terrain Mesh TM gives the sim an elevation matrix rather like a 3-D wire line graph so all heights/elevations of the terrain you see (hills, mountains, plains etc.) FS use this information to be able to display how high a piece of land is shown in height above sea level. You will see various different "LOD" values for the mesh files given in meters - these represent the distances in meters between each point or height (data) sampled to build the mesh elevation frame model. I flew IFR today with real weather from KMLU to KSHV. The weirdness started when Monroe departure told me to contact Fort Worth Center. I manually tuned the frequency, and when I hit ~ it only had the option to tune Barksdale approach. So I hit 1 to tune Barksdale approach and 1 again to contact them, and then they told me to contact Fort Worth center. This time it showed the option to tune Fort Worth Center, so I hit that and contacted them. After contacting Fort Worth Center, I was once again told to contact Barksdale approach. I was starting to feel unwanted, so once again, I contact Barksdale approach and this time they didn't hand me off. The other weird thing …

Put on tower view and do 360's until you see the sleigh on the ground. It lifts off at 00:01 and will fly straight up to 100,000ft then disappears. Peter Wilding has uploaded a file for FS2004 (FS2002 file also available) for a freeware voice control program called Shoot. Hi Folks -I've recently started experiencing some texture blur issues. I never used to have these problems. I installed some VFR scenery, I disabled them because I thought they may be the culprit, but they're not. OK, for anyone that still remembers FS2002, when I start up in full screen mode I get (for example) 15fps. If I switch to windows mode, it jumps up to 25-30. ALT+ENT back to full screen and it'll stay at around 25-30. Same for all aircraft/locations/dense/sparse/etc.Landing at Simflyers KEWR tonight with the CS 727 (at very dense) it showed 4fps. I paused it, switched to windows then back to full screen and it sprang back up to 12. What's going on?

Folks, I bought this aircraft over the weekend, and thus far I'm very impressed. The external views, which I don't normally spend too much time looking at, are stunning, esp. the reflective textures and the cockpit detail. The wheels spin, the VC is *completely* modeled from what I can see, the flight model is very nice to fly (and on the numbers at least w.r.t. the included documentation, which is based on the real aircraft), and the instruments are almost all (if not all) custom-made. The Historic Jetliner Group's webpage has been down for maintenance for a couple of weeks. What's going on there? OK, first, I DID TURN THE PITOT HEAT ON :-)Not that I have that out of the way, I'm having trouble with the CS722 and losing my airspeed indicator when decending, usually when decending below 10000 say down to 3000 and sometimes it never comes back.For some reason, either since I've used the plane in 2004, or more likely since I've gotten AS2004 (not sure really) I can't get the PITOT heat warning light to turn off, no matter how many times I cycle the Pitot heat on and off.I'm hoping this is why I'm losing my airspeed indication and also hoping someone here has experienced this and found a remidy.
