Hi,I am looking for a way to increase ai aircrafts taxi speed.I know there is a tool for fs2002 but I cannot find one for fs9.Is there any way to change the speed?I think it is quite important, as with a lot of ai traffic I am also getting a lot of go arounds at the moment, because aircraft do not leave the runway quick enough.Robert

After my post yesterday, I suddenly started to have a problem with the panel when I commenced re-acquainting myself with it. This is that the PFD and MFD go "black" after a few minutes of operation -- I can't get to the stage of pushback. In FS2002 , with the freeware FSUIPC , there was an option to have unlimited battery power so that you could take as much time as you wanted to start-up. But the latest freeware version does not allow this. In any case, as other electrical items do not die, I am not convinced that this is even the problem. But they do seem to stay alive if I start up engines quickly before setting up the cockpit and pushback-- so it seems that it has so…

Hi Everyone,I would like some opinions on the advantages of yokes v. joysticks. I am using a CH wireless joystick. It works OK, but due to some problems relating to the wireless feature, I need to replace it. I played around with a CH force feedback stick and found it wanting. I am now considering whether to shift entirely to a yoke.The vast majority of my use is for FS9, flying jetliners. I also have CFS3, but do not play it that much.I would also appreciate any product recommendations.Thanks for your opinions.

Hi,Has anyone else tried to download things from the NapuleVola Naples scenery website? It is REALLY slow! Maybe everyones trying to get the scenery at the same time or something. My download speeds are usually 15-17 K/sec but range between 1 and 5 K/sec on this site. Sometimes it just stops altogether. Avsim, could you not get them to upload to your library or something, that way i might get it before february!Thanks, Mark

Hi All,anyone else having great issues with the new version for FS9. I d/loaded everything and installed it in the manner that they say, but I get a real weird cockpit,and the sim itself is distorted, there seems to be something very wrong with the install itself,but be warned, it's a very complicated install, and mostly in French.Steve,PS I would like to hear from anyone who has got it working,or having the same kind of probs as me!

No matter how much I adjust or calibrate I can't get the prop lever to push the knob all the way in on the instrument panel. I have to finish it with the mouse. Seems like it should be able to be adjusted. Don

Hi all! First off, I'm a newbie on all of this, so go easy on me. This may have already been answered, although I have yet to find a specific post on it. I'm wanting to put two 19" monitors side by side and have a forward Captain's and forward First Officer's view, one in each monitor. I know how to get views in different windows and monitors OK, but I'm not sure how to create these views so that they look as one view out the flight deck when put together(side by side). I'm not worried about panels at this point, as it will be on a different monitor as well. Any help would be appreciated!-Marcus

I've noticed that when I leave an airport that if I look back at it in spot view my frame rates drop. Natural enough if the ai aircraft are in sight, but it still happens when I'm far enough away that I can't see them and for quite some time afterwards. I've verified this by turning traffic off, and the frame rates shoot up. I guess that the software can "see" the ai aircraft so draws them even though the user can't. I suppose there's nothing you can do about this...Hmmmm, I wonder what all else is being drawn that you can't see?

A resounding thumbs-up for the team at FS France for getting the PM2 Concorde converted over to FS9! Although they are gone, they will not soon be forgotten.Two quick questions for a Concorde newbie such as myself:1. At what point in the flight is the windshield protector raised to it's full position?2. Is there any truth in that whilst commercial developers include in their forum rules that subscribers should use their real names or be subject to editing some of the developers do not use their real names.I do not think there is any truth in the rumour.

I have checked the Aircraft folder and the Dash8-100 folder is alive and kicking. I have had a close look at the cfg files and can see nothing amiss.When I load FS9 the only aircraft attributed to de havilland is the 'commet'.Does anyone else have these aircraft missing?Andy b

Does anybody know if it is possible to set the time in fs9 to default to my local time when I load it up. My problem is that every time I start fs9 it defaults to the USA and I live in Australia. I have tried to get around this by resetting the time when I ceate a new flight but the system does not know that our seasons are different and it even thinks that GMT is either 6hrs ahead of me or 17 hrs behind when it should be -10 hrsCheers Semm

I see jaggies on a/c when on a certain zoom setting-- but they dissapear when I zoom in.Any comments as to why?Thanks Barry

Does Dave Eckert's Sterman work in FS2004? I did a search and it seems people have encountered problems installing it in FS2004.

I would appreciate if anyone who might still be using this card could tell me what you have found to be the most stable driver for FS2002 or FS9. I am currently using the nVidea 4.13.01.2185 driver. Thanks

First of all, here's my system spec.AMD Athlon XP 1800+ATI 9800 Pro All in Wonder 128MBSound Blaster Audigy 2512 MB DDR RAMWin XP Pro160GB HD.Direct X 9bATI Catalyst 3.10For the first month of receiving the card the game ran just fine. but past two to three days, I get Frame Rates of 1 FPS!! All of a sudden, it seems to run at that rate, I can't get it to go any faster. I'm scared to post this because of the negative post(s) about FSMETEO, but...I'm using v 6.4 with FSUIPC 3.x (I don't remember the 'x' since I'm not home). Whenever the program downloads the global weather, it causes my FS to stutter. Once the weather activates, it's fine.This doesn't happen if I use FS weather.Should I decrease the range that it gets the weather?My system specs:P4 1.6256 MB RAMGeForce FX 5200 128MB DDRThanks.

Hi folks, in 2k2 days i bought some Aerosoft GAP(online version) and today i downloaded from their site the update for FS9; but, this one is looking for a CD installation of GAP2002 and so update is not possible :-(Does anyone know if is also available a patch for download version of GAP?
