Howdy all!!I am having a problem with the new United PA A320 that was uploaded a few days ago. The problem is that it won't show up in the select aircraft section under airbus.. (I have 2 other PA repaints; US Air & America West that show up fine), I have checked to make sure that it was listed in the aircraft config correctly (and it is) but still won't show up.. As I didn't find my answers by searching the forums topics, so I'm posting this message here:Yesterday my pci videocard (TNT2 based)died.I'm considering an upgrade for my AGP videocard to a Radeon 9800 XT as my current AGP Nvidia videocard is getting too old.Question: when I install an AGP Radeon based 9800XT videocard, what is the choise for a pci videocard. Do I have to stick to a pci radeon videocard as well to avoid driver conflicts? Or do I create conflicts when installing 2 radeon based cards. HiI have bought and installed the Asus 9800XT Graphics card. Hi all just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same problems as i am having with the ariane 737-300. what is happening is that the aircraft first correctly draws fuel from the centre tank but then it draws fuel only from the right side wing tank and not the left side one at the same time so inevitably u get an engine shutdown. is there a way to correct this problem??

A few months ago I bought FS2004 and discovered that it runs way too slow on my1.67 GHz P4 HP Pavilion, even with all the display settings set to low levels. In fact it was so slow and crashed so frequently that I uninstalled it and reinstalled FS2002 Professional, which runs much better. One of the things I really liked about FS2004 though, isthe improved scenery over major cities (especially around my hometown of Denver, CO)and the midwestern U.S. Is there a simple way to swap out these scenery directories in FS2002, using thosefrom FS2004 (assuming I reinstall it)? Are the winter and hard winter textures both needed? Or do you install one or the other?Reason I ask, was flying last night, and had white squares or 5 sided figures covering the ground, and they really didnt blend with other areas with snow...........I'm thinking it was either a low cloud deck below me (activesky 2004) or those textures.

I'd really like to find a good weather program for FS2004 but there seems to be precious few out there that do what they advertise, namely get around FS2004's own internal weather problems. Activesky 2004 comes closest to what I'm looking for (at least in terms of the hype factor), but I'm kind of paranoid about buying it after going through the Activesky 2004 forum threads. A lot of folks are having trouble with cloud transitions, abrupt winds aloft shifts, visibility issues, overcast skies not showing up right, and destination weather not staying the same. For the benefit of anyone else who may ever encounter this problem ---Whilst playing around with the hardware settings( in the never ending quest for more fps)a small problem occurred.I was flying from Faaa(Fr polynesia ) with some addon scenery ,using the C195(Probably none of this is relevant but better the full picture.)After reseting the flight to check any changes in fps after altering some settings the load up stopped at 77%" Loading Weather".Thereafter ,in spite of poking all the settings around it refused to go past that point when starting up , either from closing FS or even after a complete system restart.The problem was eventually solved by deleting the FS9.cf…

I have tried numerous times in FS2004 to accomplish a flat/flat inverted spin with no success. Is it possible in Flight Simulator? I have tried FFS Extra 300L, Default 300S, and RealAir Sf.260.any input on the topic is appreciated.

Hi GuysHere's a peculiar tale. LAst year when I got FS9 I installed VFR UK Scenery (Just Flight) with no problem it went straight into the correct folder. As you know I took FS9 back to the store as my machine was way to weak. Anyway New bbefed up PC new copy of Fs9 off Santa.Last night i finally reinstalled the VFR set for Wales and the west. Holy cow, it wasn't there. I looked in the scenery settings and nope it wasn't there either. It had loaded I know that cos it took ages. After some digging and searching I found the folders and the mesh located in the scenerydb folder, why?Anyway I went back to the scenery settings and added the scenery folders using the add button …

Hi All.the last four flights in my PSS A340 have ended abruptly I'm affraid. what has been happening is this, I start the flight planning etc the normal way, the PSS plane performs admirably in every way, I'm not saying it's a PSS issue,but it's happened the last 4 flights in the A340 and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, I take off and fly as normal,I tend to stay in the 2D pit most all the flight, then like just now I went to the outside view to have a look at this lovely bird flare and auto deploy spoilers and then I engage reverse thrust.but just before I see any thrust reversers etc I get a black screen where FS should be, EG. the screen edge in wi…

Have just reinstalled ms fs2004 and keepp getting a very annoying "flying Tips" message saying stupid things like "start your engine"!!!. How do I get rid of it???

Posted this on Flight One Sim Forum as well..What an AWESOME plane! Now a couple of basic questions.. First, if I want to do a traditional flight and intercept the ILS ie dial in ILS Nav Freq, can I do this in the Meridian? I don't see anyway to enter the ILS frequency or Nav frequencies. Is this A/C configured to use the Garmin GNS 530(Reality XP) only? I can use the STEC as the auto pilot, but I see no way of getting the ILS or VOR frequencies into the Multi gauge (HSI CDI etc). I looked at the docs and did a search on Nav frequency, but no hits.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks! Barry

I know that in FS9 the traffic.bgl can be swapped in and out so I imagine that one could have both UT and MT installed - just not the same traffic.bgl at the same time.Anyone tried this?I enjoy UT for airlines, but am wondering if MyTraffic would make for better GA / Miltary flying?Any comments.- Myles

Is it possible in FSCOF to assign runways based upon specific aircraft type? For example I an a private pilot and here at KROC 7/25 is used primarily by GA, UH-1's of the NYANG, and some of the smaller Biz Jets, 10/28 is used by the commercial turbo-props, RJ's, larger GA jets and the occasional 737 and A320's. 4/22 is usually used by 737's, A320, A300, but we have had C5's and the Concorde here :)ThanksBlue SkiesKevin

hi all, i have been experimenting with afcad and custom flight plans, i have changed a couple of airports in the bahamas :) i have been adding military gates to MYAP along with regular general aviation ramps. i have added one tri-motor which flys between MYAP and MYX8 and it works fine, but when i added the flightplan for an f-14 (which is supposed to take off but remain in pattern) instead it takes off, asks for landing permission, flys around until its parallel to the runway then it just keeps going, it doesnt turn to final. any ideas on this one would be greatly appreciated this is the code - AC#2,MC-N01,20%,24Hr,VFR,18:00:00,18:15:00,070,F,02,MYAP,06:00:00,06:15:00,07…

To allflightsimmers please please get yourself one !! your flightsim experience will never be the same again.But this is not the question...because using the virtual cockpit becomes standard procedure the quest for the best VC begins.I`m a great fan and user of the Captainsim 727 and although the 2d cockpit is fantastic the virtual cockpit is well oke at best.So here it is.... what is the best and highest detailed virtual cockpit around and where can i get it.thanks and happy huntingJONA
