I have downloaded the FSNavigator for FS2004. When I from this program make a flightplan I have noticed that ATC seems to be completely unaware about my flight plan.When I create a flight plan from within FS the ATC is aware about itI can request IFR clearence I get direction to fly from ATC.With a flightplan made with FSNavigator I don't get permission to start if the airport is IFR.How can I make ATC aware of my flightplan from FSNavigator?

Hello all,Being a private pilot in training, I find it amazing how well FS9 has replicated haze, visibility and the overall environment. However, when one sets visibility in FS9 to 10 miles (or less), the sky ceases to be blue and turns an overcast looking gray. This really bugs me, as when visibility is 10 miles (or sometimes in the summer around here 5 miles) the sky is still blue. A more gray tone only appears closer to the horizon and obscures distant objects. As a matter of fact, I was flying yesterday (in the real world of course) and visibility was maybe 7 miles. Although I have not changed any configs I am experiencing difficulty in getting more than a very little movement of any aircraft control surfaces and almost impossible to lift off in Fs2004. I tried the same stick in FS2002 and - no problems. I`m using a Logitech Wingman Force 3D with the latest driver software. If anyone can offer some help I would be most gratefulThanksGeorge Aldridge

Hi,Anyone out there Know how to add or where to find a fix for the obstruction lighting on masts? I use KPHX a lot and know it for real. There is a hill to the south of the airport which has an aerial farm on the summit and, at night for real, it's alight (pardon the pun) with red obstruction lights. In FS2004 the effect is nowhere near the sane and you have to get pretty close to see the lights. In FS 2002 the lights were displayed as for real. Anyone else noticed this? I notice this seem to be the same throughout FS2004. Any help would be appreciated,KFD

All current owners should be receving the update today. Update Info:1. Fixes the blue line that appears in he scenery2. Updates the night MIP levels for better display of night lighting3. Makes summer textures appear for all seasons so you are now no longer just limited to summer flying and can fly in any season4. Is there any place to find more aircraft presets for FSNav? A couple are missing that I fly (CRJ-200), and I have no idea where to get the info I see in that little window so I can make my own presets.I noticed that a 737 has a rate of climb over 3000 fps, but the A320 preset is only 1500. Is this accurate? I could swear that on recent flights to KLAS and KPHX on AWA, we were pulling out of KEWR at a much steeper rate than that. But when I set the IFDG models to anywhere close to 2500 or more, she'll go right into a stall.Thanks in advance!Scott

Is there a payware AIRBUS product CD developed for FS9 ?I have a dial modem, which is slow, and therefore do not want to screw around with large files to download. I also do not want to buy a product developed for FS2000, and updated via a patch,for FS9.Thank you. Stanner

OK, so I got a computer last year.Dell 2.4Ghz P41 Gb Ram120 Hard drive120 Radeon ATI card.I felt pretty good about myself. I thought I had a decent system. But I got cocky and in way over my head.So my awesome sibling surprised me with FS9 this holiday.SO what did I do? I have had the PM2 Concorde since January when you guys first made the version for 2004. FOr the first week weeks, it had been great. But now, after I try to load the Concorde to use, when I go to choose the screen with the choice of panel that I will use, it crashes my entire flight sim. Any help? In case others are slighty uneasy at piloting a IL-86 with a Boeing panel, I found something that can be used instead:It comes with the older AI IL-86 by Dmitry Olenin and is available in the library here: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...hor=&CatID=RootImportant note!! If you install the WHOLE Ai model here you have to change the title in the aircraft.cfg that says title=AEROFLOT IL-86.Reason for this is, that BOTH this new Il-86 and the AI model share the same title and as such will conflict with eachother. So one of them needs to be named something else. Of course you can just take out the panel bmps and the panel.cfg and use that with this new baby :) …

There is an awsome new F-14 in gmax made by Dino Cattaneo (and others) available at Flightsim.com. It has a dynamic VC and has 3 great liveries. It features sweeping wings and LE/flap animaions as well as a host of other animations and effects. I have scenery.old and scenery_ifsd110.cfg in the FS folder. Can I delete these with altering anything?

I just don't want to mess things up. A few months ago I updated my NVIDIA drivers to the then released new ones. (I'm not sure of the version or how to check.) I'm wondering if a few problems I'm having are related to the drivers. Can someone please tell me how to restore the previous one I had installed? I have Windows XP. I thought there was a window that gave a choice of which one to pick but I can't remember how to access it. Thanks. regards, Tom

Can anyone solve this one? I fly in full screen view all the time, but when I want to go back to the Win XP desktop to access another program, I Alt/Ent to go back to window view, then I reduce FS9 to the taskbar by clicking on the reduce box. When I'm done, I restore the FS window and then Alt/Ent again to return to full screen mode. That's when it locks up completely. I get a second window border on top, and a rapidly flashing hourglass. Happens just about everytime. Any ideas?? Thanks. Tom

Is there such a thing as a "GPS_export.dll" file in FS9? If yes, where is it located? What is its purpose?I downloaded Eric Marciano's Airbus panel, and had to erase it (did not work). After downloading this panel I found a file in FS9 folder labled "GPS_export.dll FS2000. I am afraid that when I downloaded the Airbus panel, it erased the FS9 GPS_export.dll file, and substituted the FS2000 GPS_export.dill file. Everything is working fine. Thank you.StannerStanner
