Has Mike B or anyone else produced an updated FS2004 FDE for the wonderful FFX 737-800? Other than the high 5degree pitch at cruise she flies well.

Hi all can anyone tell me the trick to getting this aircraft to work in Fs9 because i have follwed the instructions on their website to the letter but whenever i select the aircraft in FS9 it crashes to desktop. I have deleted the FSUIPC module as they say along with the gauge (whose name I forget) but there must be something else I am missing??

Hi, does anyone know if there is a fix for the default FS2004 KSAN scenery. Looks like MS put the tower on the wrong side of the airport.Thanks,Bill

Anyone know how to start this? I've tried ctrl e but it winds up then shuts down again, and can't seem to find a manual. Looks good, be nice to get it going. :-)

it's funny, but for the longest time ive thought that fs9 didnt support atis reports within a multiplayer session...mostly because everytime i was hosting a multiplayer session and would try to tune in an atis freq i'd hear nothing comming out of my radio :-)...and as soon as id drop out of the session atis would come through loud and clear!...but the other night, during another hosting session, i was forced to change and reload aircraft. An amazing thing happened...all of a sudden my atis was working!...and i was still connected to the multiplayer session!!Would anyone have the scoop on why this problem exists for me?...could it be something in my saved default flight th…

There's a link on Avsim relating to an addon for MSFS, namely, FreeFD.Although clicking on the link brings me to the front page of the site that's as far as I can get. All attempts over the past few days to enter the site fail - nothing at all happens.Does anyone know if this site is gone or just down?Thanks in advance for any info.P

FS9 will "freeze up" on me in the middle of a flight. It is hard to reproduce this problem as it can "hang" at anytime during a flight and in any geographical location and at will. Simply I never know when it is going to lock up. I do not lose the video picture but it "freezes" like a still camera shot. No mouse or other keyboard command will work to "end the flight" so I am forced to restart the computer. It does not freeze on every flight. I read a thread on this issue awhile back re FS9 which I was not flying at the time- I can not locate that thread again. I have reinstalled FS9 4 times. Hi,I had my yellow taximarks (originals) for months now suddenly they disappeared from all my airports including my tawiway letters (those yellow black ones allong the taxiways). I found that the file for taxiways is taxiways_marks and even replaced the whole directory with the original textures from the CD to be sure... Nope nothing to do they seem to be gone forever... And as i taxi with those visual markings and airport diagrams not the magneta colored line it became like impossible. Did I smash a key by mistake to take them away? I not really in a mood to reinstall my whole FS :) can someone help me on this telling me how i can get my tracks and letters back?Thanks al…

Hey everybody,I just installed FS2004 and I have a problem when I switch off the Autopilot. For Example when I'm on final approach and when I switch off the ALT button or the whole autopilot my plane goes into the air like a rocket !!! I know that you have to trim to the center but I never had this problem in FS2002 !!!I already switched Autorudder off in FS2004Does anybody know what's wrong ?? can I download a patch or fix for this problem ???Regard,Dimitri

After watching the AVSIM/Flightsim RTW race I got to thinking about having a go at a rtw flight - but nonstop.So I have departed on a nonstop flight using the Vintage Aircraft works Rutan Voyager. Unlike the original flight which was from Edwards AFB to Edwards AFB - I have opted for an equatorial flight starting and finishing at Singapore/Paya Lebar(WSAP) via overhead SEPV and HCMM.I am carrying out the flight online (VATSIM) and estimate it at about 200hrs flying time.Due to the VATSIM requirement that the pilot be available when on line it will not be posssible to do it in one coninuous go ( Anyway I have to work, sleep,eat etc) so I am doing a few hours at a tiome…

Hi, I fly mostly with pss airbus and often to Schiphol. Last weekend I downloaded an EHAM facility file made by Mr V Nauta, that really makes the airport full of life (=full of gates). It also replaced the commonly used polderbaan file that gives us the new 36L/18R runway. Today was my first time to arrive in the rwy18R. My plane just couldn't catch the ils18R even if its info (frq and course) was recognized by the airbus. The localizer was in the center when I was approaching with hdg 270 (the course for the rwy is 186) and when flying over the loc there was no change.. Is there a bug somewhere? WOW!In my opinion, this is a great add on aircraft.I have been stuck on the Gulfstream V and Falcon 50 as carry overs from FS2002 as far as BizJets are concerned for a long time, but it is time for them to move over and let another bird enter the nest in my hanger.I understand there are some problems in FS2002 (Says so with a warning on the download site), but in FS9 I am very impressed. I have tried only the deluxe version and don't see how the lesser options could be much better on frame rates although several are included in the download.About the only thing for what I would wish would be a fully functional FMC (Theirs is partial). I have the Simon Topman Panel installed for Airbus 310.The master autopilot on/off switch will not engage. Therefore, the autopilot (speed, altitude, heading) will not work.Also, the enginges cut out whenever the overhead panel is viewed. I was able to find the answer to this problem You must cold start the plane. Then you can change back and forth between the main panel, and the overhead panel without an engine shut down. YOu must start the engines according to the prodceedures outlined in the texture patch A313st20_Patch.zip.However, I cannot solve the failure of the AUTOPILOT MASTER SWITCH to be turned on. Does anyone have any solution?Thank you.Stanner

(1) Microsoft spends significant development time Optimizing FPS especially with AI Traffic, Weather, and airport scenery.(2) ATC sequences AI traffic correctly (not overtaken by AI aircraft on final)Or:(3) Develop FS 2006 for the XBOX II, optimizing for this platform. Most of us spend a few hundred bucks on upgrading hardware anyway. Then they can really optimize for the platform. The only major requirement is that XBOX II supports USB devices (controls, etc). Then we could spend time flying and not tweaking. Can you imagine, everyone's FPS would be the same out of the box.If they do nothing else, I would buy the next version for these reasons alone.Just my thoughts…

Hello,This is an update to my open letter on Project Magenta (PM). I have added two items to the sim - The Eaglesoft Citation X and the PM Regional Jet Glass Cockpit.Always trying to be positive!!!! 1. The Eaglesoft Citation X is really a great addon! 2. The PM RJ Glass Cockpit is also great. 3. Both work 100% with my GOFLIGHT modulesBAD ITEMS!!! 1. The Eaglesoft Install is very twitchy on my machine - when the model starts up on the FS9 sim - there was a LOAD ALERT ROAR in my headset that I could not stop. With the help of the Eaglesoft forum, I found out that I had to reinstall the throttle lever on my CH Yoke via the Controls setup or FSUIPC. Once setup agai…

I've never had a problem like this before with any other aircraft/panel.I just installed POSKY A330 and Eric Marciano's panel for it. When I begin a flight on SeaTac 34R, I immediately have a crash where the nosewheel is collapsed like it would be if I dropped the nose too quickly after landing. The system resets and the same thing happens again. On the next reset, everything is OK.Didn't find anything in POSKY forums or Eric's FAQ's that seems to be applicable.

Wondering how you manage a smooth transition from AT to manual throttle. I have no problem with disconnecting the GS on short final--the trim and descent rate is set and as long as my joystick is centered there is no problem. However, when I disconnect the AT on short final I never have the manual throttle exactly right, I have to move it up and down a bit to find where it was and that can throw my trim off. Thoughts?billg

Hi,I have just installed an Aerocondor AI package, in this package the Dornier 228 flies to 2 airports in FS that dont have parking, and as a result do not show any AI traffic there.The 2 airports in question are LPVR, Vila Real, and LPBG, Braganca.Now I need to make 2 AFCAD files for these airports, but I cannot find any charts to show taxiway and parking information.So does anybody have any charts with this information for these 2 airports? Probably a stupid question but, which would be a higher level of realism, a 30M mesh or a 76M mesh. Also the 30 has a LOD of 10 (I assume this means level of detail) and the 76 has a LOD of 9. Lastly in case you don't know where I'm going with this, Rob Gainer has come out with a ton of new mesh's, I've been installing them all and really like them, however he just released one for Colorado. I already have the mesh for Colorado that came out a few months ago called Real Terrain. I just don't know which one to use for Colorado. I don't know if Rob's would "join up" good with Real Terrain.
