Hi all I will try posting my question here as I got no response from the PSS forum. when I purchased the A330 and installed it after selecting the aircraft in FS9 lo and behold the panel and gauges I get are for the A340 as there are 4 N1 gauges but only 2 are actually showing N1 rpm. has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for it??

every single screenshot of activesky i know shows fs9 in windowed mode and a standard windows frame around each activesky pop-up. does this mean that activesky shares the common problem of many other add-ons unable to "get through" the main full-screen fs view? and what happens when i run the fs9 process with high priority?help (possibly a screenshot) much appreciated.vilkps. gridley, you there? :)

Hey Everyone, I've been browsing around looking for official reviews for Megascenery NY (Official as in AVSIM, Flightsim.com,simflight, etc) but have failed to find any. Does anyone know if any exist, as I am a pilot in this area working on my PPL-ASEL and it looks like a decent tool for getting to know landmarks and all. :) Sorry if there is one I didn't come across.Thanks in advance,Jason :-wave

Hi,Bought some Scandinavian Mesh from LAGO but have a question. After the installation which went on very simple and well (just double-clicking an exe-file) I noticed in FS in the Scenery Library that there wasn't any entry for the new Mesh I just installed - is this normal?TIA,

Hello fellow simmersIve been searchin on several Flight Simulator sites for a solution but nothing usable found.Certainly many of you know that problem, it exist since flight simulator 2000. The gauges refresh rate in VC of almost all of the addon aircrafts is just poor, while the overall framerates are good. Turning down the Virtual Cockpit LOD doesnt help. Even in a Low detailed Virtual Cockpit like the Ready for Pushback 747-200 the problem exists.Many simmers told me they dont use VC much, but from my point of view the era of 2D Panels is past since Falcon 4.0 I really enjoy flying in VC View because it gives you a feel of beiing in the Cockpit not just in front of yo…

Can anyone tell me where I should be going to report a bug in FS2004? I thought MS hade a place on their site somewhere but I can't find it now.In case anyone else is interested in trying this, where is what a couple of other people have done and it crashes their machine too...The easiest way to have it happen is to go to the Bowers airport in Ellensburg, WA and take off using runway 25 and head straight out. If you make it further than approx. 15 miles from the Ellensburg VOR then consider yourself lucky.

I want to add a PCI crad for two more monitors...is this possible. Or do I need to get a 4 head card?

Wow! What a great visual model. Hi,Are there any online stores in the UK that sell the excellent looking Switzerland scenery?I've browsed through www.flylogicsoftware.com, but it's difficult to tell how they deliver or what the costs will be. I am having a problem of the Antonov AN24 stuttering when I am taxing, flying, etc. Granted all addons are different but, I do not get the stuttering with other aircraft. I have tried everything from lowering the game settings, lower VC gauges, etc. The stutter is wierd. For example it seems to be every 4-5 seconds the movement halts then starts again. The stutter is constant and consistant, it is not random.I would appreciate any help that you all may offer. It is a great aircraft, and it would be nice to use it.:)Thank you.

I tried the FlightCraft Airbus A330-300 preview last night.Everyone's install should be so easy!I had the problem of crashing at Fly Now due to a duplicated contact point (fix discussed in another post reviewing this package) so decided to uninstall it.However, when I uninstalled it, it took out the A330 gauges I was using for a POSKY A330-200 too.I presume the same thing will happen with the 200I guess that I should have just deleted the Flight Craft's aircraft folder.

Hi! I've been messing around with picking random airports, mainly in Alaska, hoping to find some difficult or extraordinary places to go. I'm only using the default Cessnas since I really don't have any add-ons conducive to this type of flying.My question is this. What are your favorite airports, strips, et cetera that you frequent the most. They can be difficult approaches, take-offs, or otherwise. I'll even accept airports for flying 737NGs in/out of. Also, what are your favorite bush flying planes for FS9. Any input is appreciated.Chris

I go for the reality when I simulate and am interested in planes that have every switch and dial modeled as accurately as possible and the flight model as close as possible to making me feel like "I'm there". The PMDG 1900 plane interests me but if I recall, wasn't this one of the "express" planes that has some "corners cut" to get the average Jow flying with less trouble?OR...Is it available in another "high fidelity" version?

Hi all, I have a bad frame-rates hit, once I enable the aircraft shadow. I also notice, the major shadow enable will apply to all AI airplane. Hello guys i have a question about the traffic file i installed several files of traffic from the project AI but i can't seem to keep up with me and their new releases. i was wondering how can i delete all traffic from the traffic file and start from the begining i allready have the default commercial, general, and vintage removed. Hi all,I suppose this question has been asked before, but I have not found a good answer.I would like to make videos of my flights. One for take off and one for the approach. Of course, stopping my flights in order to view the videos before ending the flight is very unrealistic.So when I am parked at destination airport, engines off and, of course, flaps up, is the time to see my videos, but the engines appears off and flaps up! That is, the video does not show just how take off or approach really were.Do you also have had this problem? I recently deleted my FS config file to see if a problem I was having would be solved. I copied the old one just in case. I had of course to completely set everything back up, including resetting the the CH pro flight yoke buttons assignments.I have been unable to re-establish all the POV settings I had before. When I look at the new FS config file all the information about my joystick and the section below is missing now, yet the joystick functions.Where did this information go? While editing the default FS9 B744 panel with FS Panel Studio I discovered this photo of this cute little boy "behind" the EICAS display.Is this the son of MS's designer of the B744 panel? Had he just put the pic there to have his son with him while working on this panel and then simply forgot to remove the pic? Or left he the pic there on purpose? As a joke? Hello All,I had to re-install MS Flight Simulator and World Airliners because MS Flight Sim kept on crashing.When I re0installed World Airliners, I cannot see Traffic on the ND display. Hi GuysWell I've been away for awhile, well still in the country but not flying. I was wondering how many people like me just get fed up with flying in FS9. Hi folks.Try as I might, I can't seem to get the weather going right in FS9. I've spent a considerable time in the "help" arena, and I'm obviously missing something.....I tried a simple scenario yesterday.I selected User Defined Weather, clicked on Baltimore whcih reflected accurately on the bottom button, then did a simple selection of thunderstorms and turbulence/wind from 8000 to 4000, then clicked on the bottom "block" which changed to blue, and set cirrus with light rain and wind with the bottom of the blue "block" dragged down as far as it would go.Clicked on OK two or three times to get back to the sim etc.So, barreled into Baltimore expecting to descend through th…
