When I create a flight my tower view is set at my departure airport. After takeoff, how can I easily set my destination airport tower view so I can watch my approach?Thanks!Airbus

I have tried using the PAI files to remove the FS2004 default AI aircraft but it does not do so.How can I replace or delete the default AI aircraft for FS2004?Thanks in advance for any help.Richard

Can't adjust ILS course, everything else seems to work fine. I can set it correctly by typing it in FSNavigator but can't adjust it on the panel, am I missing something?

Anyone know of a good repainting tool that I can use.So far I'm using just the standard Paint Program that comes with Windows.It is good and all but I want to add more effects like ruber marks on the belly of the airplane and burn effects by the exaust. Or do I have to do that dot by dot in Paint? Konrad

I love this Airplane to death! Its so much fun to fly, I fly it all over the place. With downloadable Sound, Panel repaints etc its wonderful. The model is designed to perfection. Exept for this one little thing. If I change from the VC screen to the Spot screen or the Panel Screen to the Spot screen sometimes it takes up to 30 secounds to load the textures. This is the only thing that anoys me. Is there a way to speed this up with a program or different Bit settings or somtin I don't think its my Comp.Specs.Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz HT512 mbs RAMG-Force FX 5200 (128)What can I do to fix this? I seem to have developed an area the equivelant of the simmer's roach motel: a place where pilots fly into but they don't fly out.I find that anytime I get near (within ten miles) of the town of Angoon, on the west coast of Admiralty Island in southeast Alaska, the sim boots me out without even the usual error message. I seem to be able to do everything else normally but I can't get anywhere near that town. My first thought was that it was a corrupted FSE file or one of the add-on scenery files but after eliminating those, I still got the boot from the sim. I tried eliminating the mesh scenery from that area but that didn't make a difference either. Anyone have any ideas…

Sorry, random thought. I was looking at a scenery file that adds thermals for aircraft to soar in. And then it hit me, when I fly over hot fields and pavement, I get thermals and that makes it hard to maintain my intended altitude. So, I'm wondering are thermals part of the weather generator, or do they have to be added via a design program? Or do they exist at all in FS?If thermals could be integrated according to temperature and the surface you're flying over, I think that would be the makings of a pretty good freeware or payware product. Is it possible in FS 2004?

I'm using the SGA DC-10 panel on the new DC-10, When I'm locked on the localizer I don't see a glide slope indicator. Is there one? Thanks, Bob McDuff

Just when we thought that we'd lost the seasonal autumn (fall) texture crash, I can report a 100% reproduceable Winter one.Co-ords: N50 12.14 E7 40.33 About 40mls WNW of Frankfurt.If I change the season to Summer (Aug) FS doesnt bork.I'd be very grateful if someone else could give this a try. If only to prove its not system specific. The zip below contains the flt,wx and the fsnavigator fsn. Flip through FSNavs FMS until the next waypoint is UBIDU. Try it with the default 777 (FL380). Does anyone know how to install the virtual cockpit of the default aircraft into downloaded aircraft? I have my AAL777 with a great panel but with no Virtual cockpit or sights of the cockpit when looking around, and I want to install in it the one that comes with the default 777.Thanks,Leo

I ran into a problem when trying to install Geof Applegate's Beech 35/C33 Debonair freeware add-on to my FS2004. The download wouldn't install because it only recognizes FS2002 as a valid application into which to install itself.Does anyone know a work-around, or does anyone know of a good Bonanza or Debonair (older version of the Bonanza) add-on that works with FS2004? I see that Carenado has a Bonanza F33A, but it, too was written for FS2002. The update to bring that add-on up to FS2004 requires that the FS2002 program first be installed - kind of a Catch 22 for people who don't own FS2002.I am an IFR student and fly a '67 Debonair and would like my flight sim practice …

The computer reboots. I have uninstalled FS9 completely and put a clean copy on the computer and it still does it. Takes about five or ten minutes of the flight before the computer will reboot.Does not happen when flying Falcon 4.0Any ideas?Windows XP Latest driver for Nevida 4200Thanks Ed

I'm curious if anyone has this or a similiar problem, or better yet..... a freebie cure :)The FPS fluctuates quite bit while flying, and I'm not talking about dropping lower while flying over a congested area with a lot of AI flying around or heavy scenery, I mean flying anywhere. I have 512 Meg Ram, AMD 2400+ and GeForce Ti200 video card. If I'm flying a default aircraft my frame rates in KSLC will fluctuate between 15 and 7FPS every few seconds.... up and down and inbetween constantly. In more rural areas it will increase to 20FPS.Adjusting the sliders on terrain detail and such really doesn't make that big of a difference, they still fluctuate. Even changing from 3…

Well, all I can say is that this is a great add-on. I have had so much fun with this aircraft, and I encourage others to check it out. After learning how to have the GPS fly the plane without actually bringing up the GPS, it navigated the plane just fine from Westchester Co., N.Y. to Asheville, N.C. I've just got the IWI V3 scenery, which is pretty good, but I'm not happy with the Trinidad airport scenery. I have now downloaded the new TTPP scenery from the library here, but when installed I get both airport overlapping. Is there anyway to remove the IWI TTPP? i've tried just the exclude line in the scenery.cfg, but it also removes most of the new layer.Any ideas, or am I doing something wrong with the exlucde line:Exclude=N10 35.2,W61 21.4,N10 36.2,W61 19.1,objectsCheers

Do we now have the necessary SDK for enabling the sluicing rain on the windshield in the Virtual Cockpit view? It's an effect I really like, and miss because I rarely fly the default stuff.Cheers......

The PSS airbus requires that you pull the knobs on the FCU to engage "selected" guidance and push the knobs to engage "managed" guidance. Upon using Eric Marciano's nice A320 panel I found just the opposite. If there are any real A320 pilots out there, what is the actual practice?Thanks!Airbus

This wing flex is like no other, and in turbulence almost makes you reach for the barf bag :). I would love to see a B777 or Airbus (wings that have much greater flexibility due to more advanced composite materials) done with this new flexing method.Bruce.
