I seem to remember reading a couple of months back about a mirror service for AVSIM. apparently some entity had come up with the hardware and infrastructure to mirror the AVSIM file library and help reduce local traffic to the AVSIM site.Any news on this front? Is it still in the works? I don't know what happened but suddenly all default scenery in the USA is at 0 ft AGL. But all airfields are at their normal elevation. I disabled my add-on scenery but nothing changed. Scenery elevation in other continents seems to be correct and normal.What could cause this anomaly ? A missing BGL, conflicting BGL, incorrect flatten swiches ?? I noticed a lot of Gulfstream fours and fives for fs2002 but not fs9. I was hoping to find a few, them being my favorite privat jet. Either payware or freeware, and i do know about the Citation X, winkthanks

Am I the only one who can't view the manual once it's downloaded? I save the PDF file and then go to open and it says it's a missing file. Get the same thing at work on that pc as well.thanks,Tomlin

I was playing around with my autopilot once and when i flicted a switch my airplane would well fly it self properly such that when the ATC sed turn to 060 the airplane would turn to 060 with out me doing anything How do I do this I forgot what I set how and where.How do i do this Konrad

Hello,Can anyone supply a simple step-by-step as to how to use FSUIPC( newest version) to program some of my GOFLIGHT rotary switches so they interface with my Project Magenta MCP?My situation is as follows:1. I have a registered version of FSUIPC2. I have a number of GOFLIGHT modules3. I have a new (awesome!) Project Magenta setup for BOEING cockpit modules (Glass cockpit, CDU and MCP. I can not get the autopilot to work on A310 panel by Simon Topmann. Can get it up and running with all the switches on,but for some reason the auto pilot switch flips off as soon as I try to engage it. This is a great panel and would like to be able to use it. Did normal install and also the update. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

I installed the USA (beta) landclass from FSGenesis & a terrain mesh by Rob Gainer (for the Northeast part of USA)at the same time. Now my ILS for KAVP (possibly others, havent checked) is incorrect. It was accurate B4 the add ons. If I follow the ILS heading I will not land on the runway. I would touchdown to the left from either approach side. The glideslope is correct.Which add on likely caused the problem, the landclass or the mesh?TIAJim

Hi again, Another day and another question for the 1900 and king air experts who have been so helpful. I've noticed with the PMDG1900 (and the default king air for that matter) that when the approach flaps are deployed, the aircraft has a tendency to pitch up rather forcefully. In order to counteract this tendency, I use a combination of forward yoke pressure with nose down trim until the plane stabilises. I have flown on the 1900 in real life, and I can't recall the nose pitching up so forcefully when the approach flaps are deployed (maybe it's not that noticeable as a passenger). i am completly baffled :-hmmm i have many fast planes that i have downloaded and installed for FS2002 and they all used to do fast speeds, for example the M5 Harrier used to go Mach 5, but now the top speed any of them reach is around 5ook, i cannot find anything wrong in my settings, or another post like this so can someone please help me.thanks in advance.Jason Liquorish

Has anyone else seen colored dots on their aircraft and scenery, and 'snowy' vertical lines in the screen when calling up sub-panels in their cockpits?Just about a week ago in FS9, I started noticing yellow dots on water scenery when looking outside or in spot view. Now I'm seeing red, green, blue and purple dots on aircraft and scenery that come and go. I also now get multiple thin, vertical snowy lines in part of my screen when I call up sub-panels. Howdy folks,maybe you could help me out here. I got the Simflyers EDDF scenery installed in my FS9, but for some reason all AI aircraft hover above the ground by something like 3 to 4 feet. Oddly, I could observe this behaviour only at this airport. I already tried lowering the field altitude via AFCAD2, thinking this might have to do with the problem, but it didn't.Has anybody else seen this bug and maybe heard about a solution?Thanks :-) !

A few months ago, I got had FS9 tweaked to exactly wher I wanted it. I haven't used FS9 since. Yesterdaay, I went for a flight, and everything was running smooth as I had left it, except for FSMeteo. I could use the downloaded weather I had on my hard drive, but when I went to download new weather, I would get trying server 1, trying server 2, then an FSMeteo encountered an Error/Send a Report Messsage. Even though I would have an open internetr connection before launching FSMETEO, when I would hit the download weather (I download, then shutdown the Internet connection), FSMETEO would not even send any info over the connection--it seemed like nothing was happening, th…
