hey guys i am looking for any wild land fire fighting planes for 2004 and 2002

I need an explanation of AFCAD.I wanted to use the update of KMCO on Simviation and downloaded AFCAD 2.11. Do I now dowwnload the image, paste it into AFCAD and it grinds out a file you can put into the scenery file in your add-on scenery file? I'd appreciate an explanationJimJimbo777

Just wondering...I have recently purchased My Traffic and Ultimate Traffic. Both have their strenghts and weaknesses: My Traffic seems to be more comprehensive in numbers of airlines and locals--for instance, airports in Uganda and Tanzania, which I like; however, in the US, it has a very odd selection of airlines at particular airports: American at Fargo, and Soviet aircraft (can't remember the airline) at Fargo as well. Ultimate does a nice job at US airports, but Entebbe and Dar seem vacant as does, surprisingly, Malta Luqa! So, what about FS Traffic 2004?Would it be possible to install all three commercial programs, then delete specific airline files so there is no ov…

I would like to know whether it is possible to add new airline names in ATC. It is rather strange to fly a British Airways airplane and have it addressed as "American Pacific" or similar...Thanks in advance for any help.

Has anyone used Sim Charts or SimPlates? I am looking into getting this but there are a few things I want to know first. Which is better? Can either one be integrated into the kneeboard in FS? Can it be run via WideFS or on a seconday monitor?Thanks andBlue Skies Kevin

Hello!I have a very annoying problem with my FS2002.Even having reinstalled my FS2002 over and over again, theheading still reads out the wrong direction, e.g. at KLAX, lined up Rwy 7L, which of course is about 70 degrees it says 120 degrees, etc.How can I fix this?Grateful for help.It isn't nice to just not know where you're flying.Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

In another thread, somebody asked about how to change the position of the minipanel from the bottom of the screen to the top. This could be of general interest, so I repeat my answer here:Go to FS9/Aircraft/Default/Panel, open panel.cfg. Change wherever you see Position=7 to Position=1 (in my case 3 places).This will put the minipanel of every aircraft on top of the screen and facilitate VFR and landing.It was Heather, who first gave this tip for FS2002 on June-02-02 in this Forum. I have found that it works equally well for FS9.Roland

I was fiddling around in the ATI advanced settings and noticed I could assign key combinations to adjust gamma, contrast and brightness from inside a game in full screen 3D. Trouble is that I can't get any combination to actually work in FS9. Has anyone tried this and got it to work?

I am having a problem with my 2004 scenery files. It might have been caused by a scenery update to one of the mesh files I did a while back. The problem I am having is that the airports, lakes and rivers all are elevated from the main mesh. They all sit on their own little mountains. It is really weird. I have tried installing and uninstaling all my addon scenery files. I shut everything off leaving only the default scenery checked. Any ideas on how I can correct this problem? Or any advice as to what I should be looking for? The culprit addon my be the PA MEsh files or the USA land class addon. I am not sure. Johne-mail [email protected]

I accidentally replaced my default Bell 206 with another copter, and I can't get the original back. I've searched all my disks. Where is it? Please let me know how to reinstall it from my original disks if you know how.Since getting the new Manhatten scenery, I'm crashing on load when I start with the Bell on a building. I'm getting an initial "building crash", and it must have something to do with the changing of the Bell helicopter. Stan

My FS2004 started crashing on EVERY (altf4 or normal, maximized or minimized...) exit reporting some multiplayer.dll error (tried to reinstall that file, no help, as well as most of them from the original game cds I have).I have lots of on-line activated payware add-ons and I have no time and nerves to re-install all this crap again (hate on-line reactivation, cant believe I pay for this).Otherwise its tweaked and runs fine but I CANNOT save my settings permanently cos it always crashes on exit...some stuff i saved by editing FS9.CFG manually but most of the stuff like keybinds, reality etc. are set default each start.PLEASE!!!1.Is there a way to change all settings with …

Has anyone experienced a similar problem: Everytime when I am pushing back from the gate in outside view and autostart engines (ctrl. E) the same time, WinXP goes "blue screen"...I tried the last three Nvidia drivers, but always same odd effect. Can anybody assist me? I am trying to fly the Vickers Vimy with Alcock & Brown and it's impossible to exceed IAS 55 and climb more than 50 to 100 fpm. I need more power to get up to anything resembling their real speed of 120 mph average. Is there some factor I can tweak in the cfg file ?Also, the ailerons and rudder are almost hopeless. They work, but they over-react and put one into a tight turn from which it is very difficult to straighten out. I am currently at 2000 MSL at IAS 55, 16 nm out of Newfoundland to Ireland. I'll never make it at this rate.Appreciate any posts, thanks!JS

Just downloaded and installed the new Aerosoft Manhattan scenery. Pretty impressive except for the bridges.However, I notice at a distance I am getting an excessive amount of flickering on upper structures of bridges and some buildings. Not everything does this. Some items are very stable, and all closeup scenery is without a problem. I am sure there probably was some flicker present before this installation, but to no degree which I really noticed.
