My very first freeware release for MSFS was a little utility called Autoland... It started as an fs98 adventure, and it could autoland most props and jets. I followed up with the standalone program Autoland 2002. Now, I've completed an update which works with both FS2002 and FS2004. It utilizes Flight Deck Software's free tool, FDSConnection and also includes a window that lets you program the autopilot with heading, IAS, Mach, Cruise Alt, and Vert Speed...Don't know whether any fans of this tool lurk here, but I wanted to let you know it's coming... :)-John

Anyone else having problems? I've downloaded it 4 or 5 times, sit through the download--it's over 30MB--and then when it's finished there's nothing in the folder except a Readme file. billg

Hello all....I just tried to install the A320 panel from Eric marciano. I accidentally placed the gps-export.dll module from his panel in my module folder. How or where can i get the original module from? I did a search of my cd's and nothing showed up? Any help is much appreciated.Thanks,Justin

A couple of times, I have set up a flight and simply selected "Active Runway." However, clicking "Fly" the program positions me on the wrong runway.Why does this happen and can it be avoided? The whole point of selecting "Active Runway" is if I am wanting to save time.

I hear that the Library is closed until further notice, can anybody please let me have Air Space charts for the British Isles.

When I use AVC for voice the voices of ATC are all choppy. I can hardly understand them. This happens with all ATC so it must be a problem on my end. I do notice if I go to another window, for instance Servinfo it works just fine, but when i go back to the panel view of FS2004 the voices get choppy again. Is there a setting that i might of messed with. This just started happening, was working great.

Hey guys, Everyone of the Avsim 732 zips (for the new 732) contain CRC errors when I try to unzip. D/L'd same files from Flightsim and they were fine. We waited a while for this gem but it was worth every minute of the wait. Flies well and would have to be one of the easiest FS aircraft to hand fly and slide down the slope. well done to the developers.Does anyone know if the web site and forum are likely to be activated again or if theu have moved?TaAndy B

I'm trying to put an object into FS2002 to figure out how all this works. I just made a basic sphere and colored it in gmax. I followed the tutorial instructions to export it and it seemed to be working OK, but nothing showed up in the flight sim. I was trying to put a sphere at the end of the runway at Meigs field (since that is the default start location when you fire up flight sim). Here are the steps I followed:1. make sphere and save it it gmax2. start FS, start a flight at Meigs field3. In slew mode, backed up a bit so I could see then end of runway4. In gmax exported it to these coordinates: N41* 51.19 W87*36.45 HDG 3585. In FS, clicked on 'World' and 'Scenery Lib…

Hi, I use FS9 quite regularly and have had problems taxiing with the Beechcraft KingAir 350. On increasing the throttle the taxi-speed suddenly goes up to almost 40 knots - if I decrease the throttle even slightly, it is almost as if there is no power at all, and the plane gradually comes to a halt. It could best be described as an "all-or-none" effect. There is no other problem with that plane, and no problems with any other planes.Is there a way to change the .cfg file (or some other file) so that I can taxi at 10 or 15 knots consistently if I want to?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

Whether payware shareware anything i feel a 777 panel with FMC features would be fantastic in FS9. After tonight trying to get FSnavigator to redirect its route then flying the wrong way i got tired of it. Surely there has to be one in the works somewhere. Plus if anyone knows how to get the PSS-777 working please let me know ASAP!!Thanks + RegardsG-MIDY

I saw the next version of the resized cloud textures (V5) just before the Avsim hardware failure, but now they aren't there. Anyone know where they went to?

Is there any way of getting the clocks on the 2D and 3D view in the Cessna to match?I was praticing some NDB navigation, and had setup the clock in the 2D view to time a leg. Once I got airborne and settled, I switch to the 3D view, and the clock is at 00:00:00.Thanks,

I've recently downloaded the acclaimed 737 series from FFX, but shortly in my FS 2004 noticed that its fuel gauge shows 00 regardless of what fuel the aircraft carries. I have to press the Shift+Z to see the percentage. It's an awesome model, I was just curious whether anyone else was experiencing the same problem. Also, while on the ground the aircraft just shoots ahead at 260 knots after coming out of slew mode, even when the engines are powered down.

For some reason, I can only lower my seat. Each adjustment only makes the seat lower. I cannot raise it! The creates a big problem when landing.Is there an adjustment in the cfg. file that I can make to correct this?Thanks

Folks;Being relativly new to civilian flight sims, I have the basic dumb question. I have FS2004, I have installed the Traffic 2004 add on, and the FS Terrain add ons. I am very pleased with the outcome, and I must say, with the settings cranked up all the way with 80% traffic, I have no frame stutter. Now the question is this, All the aircraft are parked in what appear to be normal parking spots, no problems with them parking inside buildings, etc. What add on can I use to add some gates to my sim? If something like that is available, I sure would like to know what it would be. Like I said before, I am new to civvie flight sims, and not quite up to speed what you can do …

Hello,I have FS2002 and i think mine(F$2002) might have a error....what kind of error??? Well when I takeoff on simulation rate of 1....ANY of my aircraft from the normal ones with the game to my freeware and payware....all acclerate and climb way way way above what I ask....for example...I want to takeoff and the aircraft will accelerate to 180 in a about 10 seconds also when I put the vertical climb speed in for 2500 feet a minute the aircraft will climb at about 6000 feet a minute even though it says it is climbing at 2500...how di I figure this out...well first off I looked out the window and saw my spot view and when I looked out of the plane everything was notchy.…
