Can anyone tell me why after flying for about 10 minutes or so I lose the electrics on the aircraft. I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED THE AIRCRAFT FAILURE options .I solve the problem only by selecting another aircraft and then returning to the original one and all is well again.I am currently experiencing this whilst flyinf the PMDG Beechcraft 1900d.I look forward to any replies.

Hi,Yesterday I was pleased to discover that RealAir will release its Scout together with a gorgeous bush scenery by Bill Womack. The screenshots of the scenery look wonderful !Volker if you read this what do you think ;-) ?Ah one more point, I would be curious to know what RealAir plans behind the scenes. I know the author of the add-on mention using only the taxiway & runway textures to possibly stop the pausing & stuttering that was occurring to some of us that installed the complete set. Has anyone else still experienced the problem with only the recommended textures? I did what he said, and it's still occurring (especially when panning around the aircraft in the outside view in areas loaded with GA airports like here in northern NJ).My system is quite fast (3200+, 1GB Corsair XMS3200 DDR, GF FX 5900 Ultra, 160GB RAID-0 set for the OS), so I was surprised to see it still happening.Thanks in advance for your opinions.Scott

CAn anyone ot there tell me how Sim Flyers KJFK Aerosofts Manhattan and Mega scenery act together? I was wondering if anyone tried all 3 together. I imagine if they all worked well together that that part of the US must look pretty amazing and even with the great freeware KLGA. Also how is the KJFK is it worth getting over the default do all the ILS line up ok? I know I have a had trouble with a couple of Sim Flyers Airports.Thanks in advance to anyone that has comments on this.

Hi,Just re-installed FS2004 after a fresh install on Win XP and have 1 very annoying problem:When I'm moving along a runway, my FPS drop to about 1 frame every 2 seconds, absolutely unusable.The second the wheels get off the tarmac, all returns to normal.The second I land, drops to ridiculous levels again.If I'm stationary on a runway, no probs - they only develop when the aircraft starts moving.If I land a seaplane (wheels up) in the sea, no probs. If I'm taxiing along in the sea, all is fine unless I lower the gear, at which point the problems arise all over again.I've tried changing every setting, tried reinstalling FS2004, got the latest Nvidia drivers, etc. but nothi…

Hi to all flight sim enthusiasts who have purchased the Meridian. i just downloaded it and i am compltely lost as far as using the garmin to create a flight plan. first off when I press FPL and then MENU I do not even get a "Create a flight plan" tab. are there any tutorials available than take u through step by step. I downloaded the manual from the garmin website but even this did not help I must be doing soemthing wrong- HELP!!

In last couple of weeks, I have have twice had FS9 crash to desktop: a problem I never encountered before.There is no problem at the desktop, just with FS9.This occurs after about 1.5 hours flight at altitude - most recently climbing from 32,000 to 36,000 over southern France.I have read in these forums that there is some suspicion about seasonal textures. Is that a problem only at the airfield or in loading FS9 or does it occur at altitude, well into a flight?It does strike me that I would have been approaching the Pyrennees and therefore picking up snowy textures for the first time in the flight, albeit at a distance.I have been using the Bluesphere replacement texture…

Greetings all.My FS2004 shows the splash screen when starting up then . . . nothing. The splash screen disappears and that's it. No FS2004 at all.Now I know you are thinking "go to tech support about that one", but guys i am going to beg for some peer to peer help here. I just installed this (by Chris Arrington, I believe) and am finding that the performance of FS2400 has become jerky when banking and sometimes just when flying forward. I've been using Chris's Clouds without any problem. I have ATI9800Pro and 2.8GHz P4 and 1.5GB RAM. ANy suggestions? I really like the airport scenery improvements, but don't like the less than smooth performance.THanks,Bruce

Hello!I was flying the default B737 64 miles to the west of Missoula, Montana decending out of FL 240 when all of a sudden, FS9 crashed to the desktop with no error message what so ever.This is the first time that I have experienced this sort of crash using FS9.I re-setup the flight again and the sim crashed at exactly the same location again.After researching this desktop-crash in this forum I came accross several posts about "seasonal textures" related CTD's.So I setup the flight exactly as before for a 3rd time, but loaded the "summer season" textures and I was able to continue the flight into Missoula without FS9 crashing to the desktop.So, I was wondering if there is…

After reading for long the benefits of having a large memory, I increased mine from 512MB to 1GB. My first step was to increase the graphics aperture from 128MB to 256MB. However I could not notice any significant improvement in image quality or frame rate.What is the best use I can give to my extra memory?I hope someone can help.Regards,

I have unzipped several aircraft in to my equipment folder but am unable to get them into the FS2002 file. example I have the Fanda Dash 8 but no panel. I have a huge file of two Stinson aircraft but unable to put them to use in Fs2002. There must be some trick to do this. secondly what is FS9 which is often referred to? Col.-Bogey

Has anyone used the Radio Shack Gameport to USB adapter with their CH Products Rudder Pedals, and if so, does the brake axis work?I have a new Saitek X45 Stick/Throttle combo. I am using the CH pedals on the gameport with an old joystick, and the X45 on USB, but would like to use the pedals on USB, if the brakes work with the adapter.
