First post here. But I've been a troll for going on 4 years.When I start FS9 it is saying"aircraft initialization error SGA DC-10-30" Then it locks up FS at the splash screen and shuts it down. It never opens FS past the splash screen.I've removed the aircraft from the aircraft folder but it does no good. This was not a new aircraft that I just put it either. It's been running fine with the SGA DC-10 for weeks. Now its having issues for seemingly no reason.Any ideas? It was working fine until 2 days ago it just decided to give me trouble.Thanks for any opinions,Clayton

Since Feelthere has come out with the ERJ model I have been looking and waiting for a Luxair repaint of this plane. I was wondering since Feelthere changed the repaint policy a few months ago of the ERJ (you can now upload to any of the sites with some conditions) is anyone working on a Luxair repaint? Or does anyone know someone working on a Luxair repaint?

I think I have a fairly fast system for FS2004, as follows:Asus A7N8X Deluxe moboAthlon XP 2500+2x 512MB PC2700 RAM (1 GB total)GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128 MB 4x AGPWindows XPWeather add-on: ActiveSky 2004My problem is not with ground framerates, it's 3D clouds. I am running the supposedly frame-rate-improving FSW "FS2004 fix" clouds, and I'm *still* only getting 5-7 fps in 2D cockpit views when penetrating them, in any plane, whether stock FS2004 or add-on. In spot view outside or in VC view, it drops to 4-6 fps and causes severe sound stutters with ATC traffic.I've tried tweaking the graphic settings thusly:Cloud draw distance: 80 down to 50 miles3D cloud percentage: 100…

a product, for which i would be ready and willing to shell out some funds... historically correct libraries of high-quality GA gauges... let's say, piper 60's, cessna 70's... you get the drift... glass reflections, gauge covers, multiple versions if there were multiple versions...i love tweaking my cockpits to match real birds and my heart bleeds each time a see a totally sweet million-dollar external model with a bunch of misaligned default cessna gauges thrown on the VC panel...just an idea... like i said, you get at least one customer there:)ps.i guess somebody like F1 or DF could just bundle all their amazing gauges together and make it a product :) but what i am r-e-…

I have always flown the smaller Sim a/c with balanced" loads -- ie the pilot and copilot weight the same , etc. But recently, when using Jon Mastersons "Flight creator " programme, which gives you a flight route to fly and a payload -- I have noticed just how difficult it is to fly the Cessnas with an unbalanced load. A 45 lb difference between pilot and copilot means that the a/c wants to turn all the time. Now - I am using a Microsoft joystick which uses a spring return -- you cannot offset the ailerons in any way and hence you have to constantly hold the ailerons slightly against the spring pressure. I am looking for some advice on how to re-size textures in FS to reduce the file size and increase performance. Would someone be willing to provide me with some instructions that do not require extensive knowledge of design? I hope to resize several more default textures and hopefully upload them to AVSIM if my results are successful and people want them. Since I don't have any skill in design or painting, I was hoping to be able to contribute to the community in this way.Any takers?

I'm sure this has been discussed at length, but I have not been online in a long time, and I need information on the FFB joystick so my wife can either buy it for me for Christmas, or not.I am running FS2004 on a Dell 2.53 system, 512 Ram. Hi everybody, was wondering if anyone could help me, im not sure if this is actually a problem only i got, or it is an fs9 bug, but i noticed a while ago that my airports dont have any grass or any textures, the runways just sit on the city textures, witch makes it look reather bad.This happens with deafult and addon scenerys (addon scenerys wich dont have any grass built into the scenery)So can someone tell me how to fix this?See pic attachedThanks for your timeBest wisheshttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69571.jpg

Hi: I live near a major US Airforce Base, and I constantly see KC-135's flying the pattern, doing touch and go's, etc...I would love to be able to simulate this, but how the heck do I get an FS9 large jet to go slow enough to fly a reasonably tight pattern without falling out of the sky? Sometimes they fly amazingly tight patterns around the field...Any advice appreciated!Steve in Kansas

Since I am using Vatsim almost every time I fly, I also get SID/STAR charts for every airport I visit. The problem is that in some airports some of the intersections shown in the chart don't exist in FS.Is there any way I can add intersections to FS? I find that in AFCAD there is an option to install VORs and NDBs, but it although it is shown, it is not functional.ThanksLeo

For some reason, I can no longer lock the panels to prevent them frommoving. I have tried a re-install and even in the FSUIPC config it is shown as locked but is still does not work. Any ideas ??Greg/CYYZ

A while back I thought I heard about an upcoming PC-12 from Flight1. There is no mention of it on the site. Is there another company working on a commercial version of this aircraft.

Hello.For some reason my rudder is misalligned and will not center no matter what I do to adjust it. I'm using the thrustmaster elite rudder and have it for 5 years now along with the SFS combo and was connected to a CH's game port. I have since change MB which does not have ISA so now it is conected only to the soundcard game port. This is mess up so that when I push the rudder to the right, it increases the engine rpm as if I have moved the throttle. Can anybody help? or does anybody knows of conector to convert serial port to USB? Also this happens in all my other flightsims. If it needs cleaning, can you show me how to open and clean it as I have not cleaned it since.…
