Hello,I am just doing some experiment, I changed all Carenado radio gauges to Dreamfleet C152 and C177 gauges (King radios, transponder, DME, audio panel). Works just fine, but then I noticed that with those new gauges, when I tune the radios from the knobs the frequency that changes is USE freq, not STBY and I can't find a way why it tunes the wrong item. I don't know if its a Carenado issue that can be changed from some configuration file. The same gauges are just fine with Dreamfleet planes.Thanks!

Hello all,As soon as i click the FS2002 icon, appears the typical message asking if u want to load a 3rd part sofware, in this case the "traffic.dll" but either i choose Yes or No, the FS stops loading and shutdonw it self. I've unistalled it twice, and that im still getting this error. I'm getting desperate :(Any help folks?!Thanks...cheers,

It seems to me there was a way to view individual windows without FS going into "Simulation Pause" mode. I have re built my FS9.cfg file and it must have been on my old file because I do not have the ability anymore to view windows and have FS9 continue running without pausing. Does anyone know how to set this up. I'm not sure if it was a FS9.cfg tweak or not.Regards,Tom

Hello everyone!I just finished installing FS2004 and was hoping to fly straightaway but the system reboots just as the scenery finishes loading. It doesn't matter what flight I select or if I create my own. Any ideas as to why this is happening?Regards, Jon

Pilots:I've been testing the new Aerodesigns A318 with the PSS panel - and other than EGT being off the scale and N2 seeming a bit high - everything is matching up just fine. Flew KDFW - KSTL - KMEM - KDEN today w/out any problems.I'm far from saying it is perfect - but wanted to open the discussion if others want to try and report back.BobKMEM

After a reinstall of my FS I just rediscovered the wonderful A300 by SGA! This model has so much attention to detail and is still very framerate friendly, while providing an aircraft exterior just on spot! IMHO this is the best freeware renderdition of an airliner available! Well, for the first time in a while, I am in a panic about my computer. FS and the computer seemed to be running very slowly and I knew taht it wasn't due to my video card (High Tech ATI 9800PRO 128mb with Iceq cooling system) which was overclocked but not causing artifacts. I decided to restart my computer to try to get things smooth again, though after trying 2 or 3 times over the entire day, nothign really changed. I decided to reboot one more time but after the BIOS screen, instead of seeing the WinXP startup, it told me to "strike F1 to retry boot, or strike F2 to enter setup (for bios)". Trying F1 NEVER works, and everything in my BIOS is fine (it detects my HD …

I have just got a new Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card. I think I haveread here that antialiasing should be turned on from windows not from within FS. I find no way to turn on or off antialising from Windows XP Pro. How should that be done? Should I then have it turned off inside FS settings?

I have the key and found the register window, but it doesn't work. FS is still getting errors when I want to load Aerodesigns new A318:-( . I did a restart, so what do I have to do exactly step by step?Any help highly appreciated!!Claudio

I've been poking around a bit researching this increasingly nagging issue I've been having with FS9. Just had to share this. I am an avid flight simmer, run a VA, do scenery design, repaints, working on aircraft design, etc. I truly get into the experience and strive for realism when applicable. I fly mostly GA and rotory. Mostly payware as it offers the detail I look for and have always struggled with performance like most here (all sliders maxed, no other way). Don't have a PPL but have had a bit of yoke time in various GA ships. I have a dedicated FS rig and it's fairly high end (although dropping fast with the new cards and PCIExpess tech) except for the vid card which is/was the weakest link, well recently I got a 9800XT and this has just changed the experience.I li…

Not sure if my initial attmept at posting this worked!!I have recently bought MSFS2004 after using XPlane 730 for 6 months.In XP you can relatively easily make changes to aircraft parameters such as rolling friction, positions of control surfaces, etc, etc. I have looked around MSFS, found FSEdit, .cfg files, etc but these appear to only allow you to do so much. Am I missing something or how do I make such chnages if I want to?Also the 'flight management system' in standard Boeing aircraft appears to be not as the real world equipment. And the PFD, ND and EICAS 'gauges' are somewhat limited in functionality. Are there any add-ons that improve on these?Look forward to …

Is there anyone who knows to solve the following problem?What do I need for settings so that FS turns in normal mode automaticly if I have FS ATC on and run in 4x mode or 2x mode.When I run in 4x mode, I can not here or read the messages that ATC gives me. Hi friends,it never happened before; i have been an happy simmer for months but now....daily CTD! :-mad Today on approach to LCPH after a four hrous flight from EGCC.The aircraft is PMDG 737/800 and during the last three days i encuntered three CTD, twice over Hungary and one approaching Cyprus island.I also edited terrain.cfg renaming all MaskClassMap=1 MaskClassMap=3 as MaskClassMap=0 but today again i got that terrible CTD.On the MS kick off screen i could read FACILITIES.DLL.
