Someone uses the glasses from eDimensional? Are they worth the money and what's the difference to normal monitors? Any restrictions in resolution or so?Andreas

I use NL2000's freeware EHAM ....my question is what is with EHAM ATC?using AFCAD2 I have closed Rwy 06 for takeoff and still the AI and I are asked to use it for takeoff ..it would appear no matter what the wind direction is!Lee (Midnight music) said:"I read somewhere on another forum that the theory about EHAM is that because it is below sea level the FS9 ATC doesn't register wind changes so that ATC will only assign runways 24 or 6. I ordered an ATI Radeon 800XT Pro Video Card from Dell 1 week ago today (Monday). I got word it will ship on the 26th or sooner. I absolutely can't wait. It's a 256MG card and I'll be replacing an ATI 9800 Pro128. Can I expect a big difference in frames or fluidity?Tell me.

Hi, all: I have changed lots of textures in world/texture or root/texture since installed fs9, but now, I want to chang all of them back to the default textures without reinstall fs9, so where can find them or how to get them from the 4 CDs? thanks.

Just an interesting observation. FS Navigator which from a functionality point of view does the same if not more than the GNS 530, even with a docked window in view, absolutely NO FPS hit what so ever. I guess the gauge developers need better, more efficient tools.Hats off to the FS Navigator development team. Barry

I just downloaded an addon scenery file for FS9. The readme said to "extract the folder to the addon scenery/scenery folder, then go to settings/scenery Library/ and add new, find the extracted folder and add it to the scenery library list. I did this, but when I put the new directory into the addon scenery/scenery directory, it wouldn't show up in FS. Only when I put all the bgl files in the addon scenery/scenery directory did the new buildings show up, but they lacked textures. The directions didn't say anything about textures so I just put the texture files into the addon scenery/texture folder. Now the scenery seems to work fine, but I never had to go to the settings…

Hi. can anyone explain why the aircraft that come with FS9 cannot catch the glide scope? You can line aircraft up perfectly with the ILS with the nav radios tuned into the correct freqs but it will never catch the GS. However when you use the add-on aircraft from PSS, Airbus and Dash 8 those aircraft do, why is this?

Hi I have downloaded RealTime and installed it as well but the timezones were installed in a folder outside the FS.My question is how do i get them work as there is no any instruction on this.What i only found was this:Joshua Robertson's "FS Real Time" (a separate download) is highly recommended for use with these files. If you install "FS Real Time", these timezone files can be optionally and automatically installed with his program, and will be uninstalled if you uninstall his program. If you want to install my files manually, all BGL, BAT, and BGD files MUST be installed in their own scenery folder just like any other third party scenery. But it seems that it didnt …

I keep getting a malfunction with Eric's panel when I load up my A318. I installed it directly from the original Aerodesign exe file. I am using a registered version of FSUIPC. Anyone know how to fix this problem?Thanks for any help!Airbus

How far away from the takeoff point would a SID typically extend? Also, how far from landing would a STAR commence?Does one change from using J-airways to using V-airways on the way up and on the way down? Or do the SIDs and STARs incorporate that?Appreciate clarification, advice, etc., thanks!JS

Hi Folks, Just finished up-loading The Default Lear 45 Package! Hi,I have been thinking about this a long time now. And I though I should share it with you. :-)We all know that on some short and medium range aircraft, there are folding airstairs modelled in the aircraft model. But what about the long range aircraft?I know that they do not have folding airstairs in real life. Hello Gang!I have been very busy lately, installing updated airfiles for all my PAI and Ultimate Traffic aircraft. The problem is that PAI airfiles make the aircraft show up in th eaircraft selection menu, slowing down the simulator access to some of the screens considerably.My understanding is that this is something that can be tweaked in the aircraft airfiles, but I have no clue how to go in and so this; any ideas?Thanks in advance!Sincerely,Dennis D. Anyone notice the FPS drain when flying near KORD? KORD is the blackhole of FPS drain.I flew over KORD at FL12 and as I reached KORD, my FPS dropped to 5-6. Maybe due to the extra AI traffic?Just an observation...Barry

I will try and keep this short.In FS9 the Airbus jets seem to ne real good about having the little joy sticks (left handed in the captians seat, using your right hand in the co-pilots seat)rather than the floor mounted yokes. From looking around the various web sites its seems Airbus uses this tech in the "fly by wire" jets. Now Boeing also has fly by wire in most of there new commercial jets (I am sure there are many more planes as well, I am trying to keep my question short).So, as Airbus moves more and more to the short joysticks to each of the Captians and co-pilots seat, in there fly by wire commercial jets, will Boeing follow, has anyone heard any thing? I am looking to purchase an airliner. I have been told by many of you that PMDG is the way to go. I am having trouble choosing one. The 737 800/900 is $27.95 and the 737NG 600/700 is $39.95. I don't mind paying the extra for the 737NG, but I was hoping to hear from owners of these airliners as to which one is better. I can't really figure out why the NG is more expensive.
