Can any tell me why the reason why my flightsim situations are not saving. everytime i fly and save it it reverts back to the 1st flight for example.I flew the meljet 777-300er from KOAK to PHNL it is save koak-phnl then after landing at Honolulu i then save the flight as PHNL-KOAK which now should be my startup situation but no, it reverts back to the 1st flight KOAK-PHNLAny suggestion would be greatly appreciated.ALPHA37

Hi all, i am using MS2002 pro, i can,t get the ILS for Fukuoka RJFF 111.70 run 16 in Japan , i can get the VOR 114.50 ok , how can i put it in, as there is only one runway in use i can,t obviously use the opposite direction , any help would be appreciated ,thanks:-)

HI I installed a panel for MD 80,this was a original panel by Paul Golding.I install a revised panel by chuck Latkoff.I am using a plane MD 80 AA by Jonathan and Erick Cantu.My problem is when I click on the upper panel,the engines cut out or stop.I have sent E-mail to Chcuk Latkoff,but so far have no answer.Has anyone installed this panel and having the same problem.I am using FS2002,I have every thing else working good,except for this problem.If anyone could help me on this for appreiate it.ThanksRocky1

With FS2002, there was a program called Weather Maker which would allow you to create random weather. Is there a similar program for FS9?Normally when I set up flights, I use real weather with dynamic updates, to give some "flava" to the flight, however, many times, the "real weather" engine can sufficiently overtax the weather system to bring the sim to it's knees, even when using FPS friendly clouds and such.The reason I use real weather is to add a "random" element to the flight. I know that I can customize my own weather settings or choose a theme, but I really don't want to do that. I'd rather just be able to hit a button, randomly set up some weather using themes…

I am flying FS2004 with a Radeon 9600. Today I was flying from PABR to PANC when about 1/3 of the way my 2D panel started flashing. It wsa not constant but frequent. I tried things like cloud settings turning off light, that sort of thing. The only thing that stopped it was going to 3D view. No problem there. Go back to 2D & it flashed all the way to PANC. My video drivers are Catalyst 4.7. Any ideas what would be causing this? Thanks.Pat Callaghan

I recently bought Flight1's Meridian aircraft add on for FS2004.It installs ok, but when I select it from the aircraft list and FS2004 attempts to "Load Scenery Objects". It's at this point that FS2004 alwayssays it's encountered an error and has to restart. It dosen't do this with any other plane! I've attached the two error messages.Can anybody tell me why ONLY the Meridian trips FS2004 up in this way?Thanks.

On a recent flight I took N145DR to Ljubljana in Slovenia LJLJ from the UK.The flight involved cracking tailwinds on the way down over the Alps at FL 180 and 230 kt groundspead.On the way back it couldnt have been more different with painful headwinds, two stops,thunderstorms on departure and extensive thunderstorms over Northern France.Ljubljana is surrounded by 10000 ft mountains with some interesting Sids and Stars (when I became visual I was cleared downwind at 10000 feet ;-)On my way back I stopped at St Gallen Altenrhein and found this beauty from MSFS.If anyone is interested in other shots over the Alps from this trip I can place them in the Screenshots forumCheers…

Okay, what's up? There are all tons of great re-paints out there these days. Why do some aircraft textures load smoothly and others "jerk" in? For instance, the iFDG A320 My Travel photoreal repaint by Ben Hewitt looks fantastic. When you go to wing or spot view there are a few moments of grey and then the textures load, but there's no pause in the sim. This I don't mind, because I want smoothness. Other repaints of the same model go to grey but then the sim actually stutters when loading the texures. This bothers me. What's up?I have a P4 3.2ghz machine with 1gb of ram and the ATI 9800 pro video card. I have my texture bandwidth mult at 80 ( I don't like much higher beca…

I am flying at 1x on the sim rate but everything is moving super fast engines spool fast and flying a heavy becomes like flying the SR-71 or the A-12 at mach 3. I don't get it. I then logged on vatsim and all the controllers are telling me I am fly at double the airspeed of what I am showing at 1x the sim rate. if I cut the sim rate to 1/2 then the speed matches on vatsim anyone have any ideas?ThanksDan

Following a catastrophic hard drive crash on my FS computer, I restored all of my downloads from a separate, removable drive. I had backed everything up with a product called Image Drive 7.Prior to the crash, all of my files had been named using small case letters which is my preference. After the restore, everything is named using large case letters.I checked the Explorer/Tools/Folder Option already. Is there a way to tell Windows to change the case, en masse of all the files on a particular drive or folder??Thanks for the helpBobL

I know that you can do this with Radar Contact, but is there a way to request a direct routing from FS2004 ATC if you are in the middle of the flight without going back to the flight planner? I don't think you can.The thing that I hate about doing it this way is the danger of restarting your flight unintenionally (which happened to me). I was going from KBFI to PAFA (approximately a 3 hour flight). Two and a half hours into the flight, I decided to ask for a direct routing from BKA to PAFA, so I go back to the flight planner and I accidentally hit YES to relocate the plane. So I broke down and bought FS9 a few months ago. I've spent way too much time customizing than flying. You know, doing this "flight sim thing" is like having a model train layout. It's never really done, is it?Decided to fly around a bit, and set the weather to "overcast."Am I nuts? Why can't this super duper sim give me overcast?I remember all the broad positive pronouncements that FS9's clouds were great.
