Hi everyone.I bought Just Flight's Traffic 2004 recently, which is absolutely excellent. But like most 'prepared' AI traffic programmes, the aircraft models included are somewhat lacking. So I have set about replacing them all with AI Aardvark, FSPainter etc models. Its been a long and tiring task, but worth it! However, I am suprised to find no British Airways repaints of the FSPainter Boeing 777! I did find one, a superb set of several tail repaints, by Raul Gonzalez, but when I try to use any of these, the textures are all messed up on the starboard side of the aircraft fuselage and tail, and on the port side of the tail. I can find no fix for this anywhere.Does …

Can anyone tell me why everytime I create new flight, I start at active runway so i don't have to taxi...it is very annoying...I like the taxi.Any help on how to fix this would be appreceiated.Thanks in advance...Soar

I would like to give at least a little back to this forum whichhas been so valuable to me.Check out http://www.airliners.net/. They offer thousands of photos of aircraft, some on the ground, some landing, taking off and in flight. All are IMHO absolutely beautiful.You can use them as I do, saving some in My Pictures, and alternate among them for wallpapering your desktop. Some can be sent as e-mail "postcards," and others are also offered for sale as prints.You can search according to type of aircraft (747), airport, country, airline, etc.See the attachment (I hope it works) for one example this being a Southwest flight.Louis EW

Hi all,Is anyone here in daily contact with any of the Dreamwings developers? I am trying to get permission to release this repaint of mine as:1.) a full package containing all of Dreamwing's original documents,2.) the appropriate model and air file with an original aircraft.cfg,3.) my updated aircraft.cfg that has my non-reverser and contact points mod included and,4.) my readme with screenshots.5.) All of a sudden, FS2004 won't let me save flights...I try to save it, but I always return to a flight I had saved several days ago...I tried deleting a bunch of saved flights, thinking maybe I could only save a certain number of them, but that did no good...Advice and help appreciated!Steve in Kansas

Hey everyone! I would like to know what the easiest program that will allow me to tell the flight simulator to use one of my aircraft and fly a certain route at a certain time. Hey folks, for thos eof you that thought ACM was shut down. Karl.aka dvdata just released version 2.4.This program really has a lot of potential...but, unfortunately received alot of bad press if you will; due to the discussion of importing FSDS and GMAX. The compromise reached was you can't import any GMax and or FSDS2.x stuff...but you can import FSDS 1.x stuff and I believe some other as well. One of the new features I see in 2.4, it will create UVMaps. I'm not a painter, but this might be benificial to some that do. My question is simple - The name of FS Genesis and Justin Thyme seem to be held in high regard in these forums. His service and products are apparently outstanding. However, I have a few questions:I have always thought that mesh is mesh...How can there be good mesh or bad mesh if it is all sampled at the same resolution and the anomalies have been corrected?Recently, a large amount of freeware SRTM terrain mesh has become available in the library. I see that AVSIM forums have some 15k members. There are other forums and people will be members of more than one. Defining an enthusiast as someone who joins a forum, how many of them are there world-wide? 25k, 50k?

Please tell me if I've got this. In Lesson One, if the airplane needs to speed up and I want to use trim to do this, I would trim up which would cause the nose to go down (and the elevators up). Is that correct? And of course the opposite to slow down?Is there a way to stop a lesson ( or a flight) and return to where you were? Conversly, is there a way to speed ahead to a certain point in a lesson?LouisOh yes, and one more thing, does this FlightSim program have a provision for the "Mile High Club?":-)

I am getting the "can't load a320.gau" problem. Where do I put the key that is provided by the Aerodesign A318 team? Do I open the FSUIPC drop down menu and there is a place? Thanks, Christopher

Hi folks,Last week I downloaded the beautifull Dreamwings Fokker 50 andimplemented the great panel by Espen.Everything works great ( except the panel-light , wich is a known bug).Nevertheless I have a problem , a few days ago I crashed the plane, I am not such a good pilot :).After this I got the red-banner telling me " CRASHED " , instead of reloading the model , the screen turned black and my computer was frozen-dead.Ctrl-alt-del didn`t help and the only way to escape was to reset the computer , wich is not adviseable when XP is running, but is was the only way to get things rolling again.Another time the same happened after using the NAV-instruments frequently.Is this …

I guess this is more directed to the real pilots out there (airline pilot's preferred). I was flying back to MPLS from KATL this weekend and upon pushback had one of those crazy thoughts that most of us have from time to time. What does a 'Pilot In Command' do after pushback and engine start, ready for taxi when this problem occurs, Your sitting there ready to throttle forward to leave the terminal area and you start to have a bad case of diarrhea. Or let's say your right there ready to taxi onto the active and your stomach is about to blow all of a sudden.
