I downloaded the airport scenery for UNNT, but all the instructions, well almost all, is in russian so I was wondering if someone could clear a few things up for me. The approach lights they talk about, was is special about it?I also downloaded a "heat engine truck" for clearing runways and apron. I was wondering if it is supossed moce, or will it just stand there? I have downloaded Ken Salter's FS9 Configurator program but have not yet installed it. In looking over my FS9 root directory I already have a configuration manager that is used by Project Alpha Sierra's T-37. Before installing Ken's program I would like to make sure that these two files are compatible and worse if Ken's program might cause problems with the T-37. Any help either from Ken or anyone who might have both programs and can tell me they are working fine together.Zane

Does anyone know if and how its possible to reload a previously saved flight (.flt) and have it use your current SYSTEM time of day instead of the time of day that was originally saved with the flight?I know if you make it your DEFAULT startup flight, it WILL use the system time...but i dont want to make this particular flight my default, however i DO want it to load with current time of day....is there anyway i can manually edit the .flt file so itll do this for me?Thanks :-)Dave

This thought just occured to me, whilst repling to a thread about landclass.Pre FS9.1 I changed the terrain.cfg file to avoid the CTD that it caused.Did the patch alter the terrain.cfg back to "normal", or do I need to stick the terrain.cfg file back in from off the CD's?Does 9.1 not need this fix anymore?, I am guessing noDan.

I'm using MYWORLD's Landclass for the whole of Europe. It looks great but has a serious impact on the frame/sec ...which make sense if you think that it is one layer of landclass on top of the default one - is there a way to disable the default landclass or a way to pump more frames out of a 3rd party landclass set like the ones by MYWORLD ...?Kind regardsTerblanche

Hi,I was wondering if anyone could design an effect where the nav light or strobe lights on the plane illuminate or reflect off of the ground at night time..................it is possible because the developers from the ariane 737 did it but i dont own that plane so if anone could do that it would be great...for the PMDG 737 Thank you Tyler

I recently started losing my autopilot after about 6 or 7 minutes of flying. This seems to have happened just after downloading the FS9 update, which did load without any apparent problem. I'll set up a flight, takeoff and set the autopilot which is GoFlight equipment. All of a sudden the auto pilot goes black and can't be recovered. I'm interested in knowing what the possible problem is with my system.I'm using a Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 with 5.2.1.6 drivers.Bill :-roll

Avsimmers :)After Microsoft's stock planes with their simplistic panels I find that the MD-11 panel is going a wee bit over my head! Could some of you MD-11 gurus please tell me how to work the autopilot because:1. I dial an altitude in but the plane blows right past it2. I set an airspeed and the plane exceeds that too (autothrottle issue)3. If I dial in a heading the plane turns...and blows past it as well4. I cant seem to follow the GPS-generated route on a flight plan..the autopilot parallels the course line on the GPS display instead of flying on it:(My MD-11 does an aerobatic routine after takeoff that would be the envy of any Sukhoi SU-27 display pilot.Please help!…

OK, I am no programmer but I've been told the app I need would take an experienced VB person about an hour to do. I may be the only one who needs this so it is a limited market. I would be happy to pay a reasonable amount for it (Paypal preferably). OK, here is the problem.I have a home cockpit and use a real aviation intercom with headsets to communicate with my copilot as well as VATSIM. The intercom has a PTT button that I've attached to the yoke. With all the excellent freeware and payware airplanes we have available today, it occurred to me recently that we're really quite spoiled with our choices. On that basis, I began to ask myself..."if I only had 6 airplanes that I could fly in FS9 until a new FS10 came out, what would those airplanes be?"
