Hi everyone I was flying last night a 2 hour flight, when i exited flightsim it crashed my computer rebooted it. Now when i start flightsim i get the opening screen for a minute then nothing it disapears and stops loadingany ideasshane

Hello , after installing some scenery the other day, my flight sim, FS9 wouldn't start. I downloaded and used the dreaded 'no cd' file, and everything seemed fine. I then deleted both .exe files and re- copied the on from disc one- stiil no joy. I would really rather use the MS exe than the other, but I don't want to re-install everythig either. Cheers!

Just a wee daft tip.If you have FsRoads (UK one works fine) and want to find your exact house location, punch in postcode to Mapquest, copy to Fs and there is your 747 (or whatever) parked in your garden/street.Get into Merc Car, or whatever other car in Fs, and drive to work.Now this is so so sad!(lol)

Hello,I am running FS9 on a fast computer (Dell 8200). All of my present addons - less one - perform quite well display wise. I am comparing addons such as my Meridian, Flite 1 421 - PMDG 737 - A320 PIC - etc. I only have bad display performance from my new FSD Navajo (stutters and awful texture load times. I fly all with registered FSUIPC (current) Ultimate Traffic, Reality XP 530 GPS and the new Weather Radar. I also run a weather addon like FSMETEO or AS2004. Even with all of this going, all of my other sims run smoothly except for the Navajo.Any thoughts on the issue?Thanks,Ron [email protected]

Does anyone know where I can find the base (white) textures for FSP's B777-200/300. I will be in Paris, France next week and may have time to get together with simmers on Saturday night, October 30th. This is tentative at the moment because of my schedule, but if I can get together with sim enthusiasts in Paris that evening, would anyone be interested in doing so?

Didn't follow instructions in placing first two aircraft at local airport(KBVO). Placed both at the same location, but didn't "save" or "identify" the location. Therefor, have no ".xml" or "BGL" files. Is it possible to delete these aircraft? Have exhausted all with my limited knowledge.Of course read the instrucions and now have placed and deleted other aircraft with no problems.ThanksRobert J

Of course, never being satisfied with getting every inch of horse power out of my system, I downloaded the latest DNA Drivers for the Radeon 9800XT (ver 3.2.4.10) to test them out vs the latest Omega drivers.Tell you what...the combination of having Bilinear / Trilinear filtering off in the sim AND the latest DNA drivers allowed me to have the MOST FLUID, MOST visually STUNNING, flight I have EVER had in MSFS to date; let me preface that by saying I've had MSFS on my computer since the early 80's.Frame rates are higher than the Omega drivers by at least 4-6 FPS in heavy traffic detailed airports. I run two profiles: normal (default setup) and gaming per Blackviper.com. Dell 8300 2.6, 512MB Radeon Omega 2.5.90Started a fair weather flight at KPDX at night with realair C172P, (normal profile). Scenery sliders maxed, autogen normal, scenery complexity dense. ATI 9800 SE 1600x1200 32, trilinear, mipmap 4, global texture massive. I opened two IE, one was streaming the Drudgereport on KFI am640 the other Avsim.com, when I began the flight. I had FPS set for 28. I was surprised, with all that stuff running in the background including antivirus software that I got 25-28 fps and smoothness. Hello, After releasing my FS Night Time last week, I put together another utility I call FS Remote Control that I wanted for use mainly with ActiveSky and WideClient remotely. I run FS2004 on my main machine and WideClient with ActiveSky on my email server. However, I don't want to have to log in to start and stop those programs on my remote computer each time I run and stop FS on my main computer. So basically it will detect Flight Sim running on your main computer then start up WideClient & ActiveSky (& Whatever Else You Want) on my remote computer when FS is in running state. hello-I just purchased the 737 next generation software, and wow, i guess im in a bit over my head. My main problem is that whenever i increase thrust beyond say 1/5, a loud alrm sounds. I don't know why it sounds, and i can't seem to get rid of it. I have hte tried to follow the online tutorial, but no luck.can anyone give me some advice?thanksGrant

Hello,Due to what I thought was a scenery problem, I reloaded my entire MS2004 system - it took 2 days. I reloaded the sim when I developed a problem with my Aussim Warrior III ONLY! All other planes, at the time worked 100% after the 9.1 update. The problem was that the sim crashed to an error box when I used the Warrior III "look right" or "look down" buttons only. The Warrior II worked fine. BOTH WORKED FINE BEFORE THE 9.1 UPDATE.I reloaded the sim, from scratch, and installed the Warrior II/III right after the 9.1 Update. I initially had a problem with items that I placed not showing up in the sim. The tutorial states that you should save your .xml file to your Addon Scenery/Static Objects Library/Scenery folder. That doesn't work. You want to save your .xml file to Addon Scenery/Scenery. Then your .bgl file will be generated in that same folder.That worked fine for the buildings, but when I placed a FedEx truck, it didn't show up either. I found that I had to copy the files add_SeevKahn.bgl, add_SeevKahn_Humans.bgl, add_SeevKahn_Trees.bgl, and FedExTrucks.bgl from the Static Objects Library/Scenery folder to the Addon Scenery/Scenery folder and all the texture files in the Static Obj…

Hi all,Recently upgraded to XP Service Pack 2. And since then, I get no more than 10 mins per flight. Hi,I hope someone can help me here. I have been running FS9 for several months without any problems. Recently, the program crashes pretty much every time. After 1+ hour, the menu bar disappears. Somewhat later (usually when switching views) the program freezes.The last major updates I did before this all started was to install the FS9.1 patch and install ActiveSky2004.5. I uninstalled everything and installed only the major components yesterday. I don't know if this affects anyone - but it may be useful if it has.I was suffering from flickering ground textures at Vienna airport (LOWW/VIE), and so began searching for a scenery conflict. Eventually I found the culprit - I'm still using Lago's Budapest ME scenery in FS2004, and found that removing the budapestmesh and budapestmeshlib bgl's cured the flickering at Vienna. Budapest is still intact, but I've lost the custom ground textures and mesh, but it means I have a flyable airport in Austria.Rob
