Hi there!I need some help.I am still using FS2002 (on a 2600mHz AMD, 512 RAM 128mb GeForce 4)Now sometimes i load down planes intended for fs2k4 cos they have better looks and some other planes arent even available for 2k2.they work perfectly well! now i know when using 2k4 planes in 2k2 und vice versa the flight dynamics are far from realistic!But now i came across a plane which i really had to have, the PC-12 by afg.Heres the problem now: it doesnt show any visual model! you can load it, fly it, but apart from the 2d panel you wont see a thing! I don't know about anyone else here but I long for the day when if I make a mistake in my aircraft it blows up in a huge exploding fireball. I think it really cheapens the experience that when I do botch a landing I am greeted with text that says "you crashed" along with a visual of my completely intact plane sticking half in the ground. I want to feel as if there is really something at stake if I make that fatal error.

Made a flight (in PMDG 739) from KSEA to KPDX arr. 28L. Intercepted ILS and captured G/S from below and had to take the landing in hand about three miles out the alignment was so off. The ND shows everything on the numbers but the a/c is lined up for center taxi way. Tried it again with the default 734...same same. Anyway to fix this?John Franklin

When I file a IFR for a plane, it also gives me estimated fuel used. Is that number accurate? Last I flew a 1200 mile leg on a empty 737. It gave me an estimated fuel usage of 16000lb. So I set up the plane for 20K lb. However, before I got the destination, I ran out of fuel. My question is, how do you know how much fuel you need if that number of the flight planner is not accurate? Also, on the default 737, I could not find the center fuel tank indicator. Did I miss something or it is just not modelled?

About a year ago I sold my thustmaster f-16 stick and throttle. Got sick of the clutter, and their config routine as well as I just didn't use them as much anymore. Well now I want to get back into flight sims. I started with getting FS 2002 and a simple joystick I have used before the MS Precision 2. Its on the way. Anyway while I'm waiting I'm looking for recommendations/links for a good headset with mic. I have seen a few from the roger wilco website in the $20 range but I'd actually like to see if there's something a little sharper. Something that fits comfortably behind my head with a mouth piece. Ok Avsimmers! I *really* need some heavy-jet advice from you all! :)Im fighting two problems & one question here. I fly the Posky 747-436 (British Airways)[1.]During the climb to cruising altitude the autothrottle does a big dance :( Say for example you set the target speed in the autopilot panel at Mach 0.60. The autothrottle increases power, the speed builds till it hits Mach 0.60...and then the throttle retards way back...so the speed decays down to Mach 0.55 or so....and then the throttle bangs up again to make up for it.....and so this back & forth throttle dance goes on and on. himy timezones are all mixed up with the time change,i start the sim at yhz and the time is correct,i then switch to yyz and the time goes back 2hrs.any one else having problems,i cant figure out how to fix this latest fs9 headache.thanks.

I have just begun using the package of 3 POSKY CRJ-200 aircraft put together by Kevin Sparkuhl for use with his newly release Sky-Decks CRJ Project panel. This post isn't about the panel which I like very much.I also use CH Pro Pedals for rudder control.I was having a problem with the aircaft being uncontrollable on the ground - would yaw violently off the runway while I was trying to correct with rudder pedals. I love using the SimRadar application for the Kneeboard. After hitting F10, and toggling to the SimRadar page, I always have to put in a username and password. Is there a way around this (even a payware workaround)so that when I hit F10 I can just go to the website I want to retrieve Airport Data?I use it to get to Microsoft Explorer to get to fsnavdata so that I can retrieve ILS frequencies without pausing the sim.Any suggestions for a simpler interface, or am I asking too much?

I have installed the BAE Jetstream Super 31 with a panel from Bae panel project.I got the manual from the BAe Panel Project website and I have turned on the main avionics switch as instructed and I know I have to be airborne,but it still does not turn on.The flt director switch is in the same area and it doesn't work either.Anybody have this panel installed and can you help me?Thanks,Ron

On occasion it seems that ATC isn't able to descend you in time in order to establish yourself on the localizer at the published height; this seems to happen more often when you're descending from high altitudes. Is this an error on my part? Should I ask for a decrease in cruising altitude earlier in the flight?Advice appreciated.Ricardo

I tried to set the propellor lever on my CH Flight Yoke to use it to deploy and retract the spoilers but it does not work correctly. Even after calibration moving the lever causes the spoilers to deploy but they cannot be retracted. It seems to get hung up on the spoiler arm detent. Seems way to sensitive.Has anyone been able to accomplish this without full version of FSUIPC? I have only the stripped down version that came with PSS.Thanks,Greg

I tried searching for this but could not find. Suddenly-in the last week-my atc window will pop up-but there is no text in it. I can hit the numbers on the keyboard and reply etc. but can't see the text description or what the numbers represent-I get the atc window but nothing in it. I inserted five new default bridges across the Fraser River channels in my Vancouver International Airport scenery (CYVR4.1.zip) with Ground 2k and since applying the FS9.1 patch, these have disappeared! (Or I also just installed Windows XP SP2 but I doubt that would be the offender).When I try a default scenery.cfg file the four default bridges (I had excluded these for my CYVR4.1) are not there either! It seems as though the new bridge function in FS9.1 might have removed the old default bridges

Hi How can I edit the landing light beam not the one that shines on the ground but the one that only shows when u are in thick fog I want to make it a little more narrow or smaler. Thanks in advance.Tyler

I made a trip from Marina KOAR to GNOSS KDVO in California in the F1 C172. I took a direct visual course. This took me close to San Fransisco KSFO.I wondeer how this would have been done in real life? There must be a lot of traffic around such a big airport. Would a small Cessna even be cleared to fly close to KSFO? Should I make flight plan that took me around the KSFO area? IN FS I only needed clearence through B airspace.

Hello all. And a "Happy" Hallowe'en to y'all. I posted this in Marcus Brunner's forum but received no answer. Perhaps someone here can help?Everytime I try to run GA Traffic I get this prompt. It says I have to associate the program w/ this folder. When I try to click "OK" it just keeps popping up and freezes GA Traffic. The only way I can continue is to use the control-alt-delete which brings up the task manager and I have to stop GA Traffic to continue. I can no longer make a BGL file in order to have this excellent program working. I have included a screenshot of the prompt that comes up. Can someone help please?Once again, thank you in advance.
