I do not now if everyone is aware of this mesh which is covering the whole world. I am on an around the world tour with the CM310 and this came in very handy. Hello All,I just wondered if LOWI had installed an ILS recently as in exist in FS9.1 however on my charts it's just a LOC/DME.Does anyone know how to fix this? Hi all,First time flying ATC ILS approach yesterday. What I found is that if you miss the first approach, ATC will be confused and send you to Mars. You then have no option except to take matter in your own hands. Do any of you guys have this problem? Well, I usually miss the first clearence (too close to the runway be time the go ahead is given) so have to declare a miss approach. Then, the ATC sends to no man's land.

Has anyone tryed the F-18E Hornet by these japanese guys?. I'm not really a fan of combat aircraft, but recently I've seen these models at Avsim and got interested to download them. The package is absolutely impressive!, at levels similar to payware stuff. I've flown the F-18E for a while but kindly ask if someone knows how to put the "reheat" (if there is any) function on or to speed the aircraft over Mach 1.0 once airborne.Any help will be appreciated.

I rediscovered the Tu-154 in my FS9 folder today but cannot figure out which version it is and whether I can or need to update it in any way. It's the ZIP file tu154 B2-with-new-virtual-cockpit and is about 51 MB in size. I've been through the a/c and other folders but cannot see anything about a date or version number.There seems to be a pile of Tu-154's out there but maybe they are all from Project Tupolev; I can't figure it out, and much of it is in Russian.I see from the current AVSIM review of the Project Tupolev that there is a 154 model version Base Pack 9.0, some updates, and an English tutorial. Is this all the same stuff? Am I up-to-date or ....obsolete?Appr…

Hi everyone.Tried searching the forum but could not find what I wanted.I reinstalled FS2004 recently and am now having problems setting the default flight to what I want. I follow the instructions in the FAQ but nothing happens - even with all other default aircraft I cannot change the default airport or plane from the cessna. Beginning to wonder if there was a problem during the installation.Does anyone have similar experiences?ThanksJohn H

Chum of mine flying in FS9 has a niggling problem that I can`t cure and so I am writing for help.Whenever he first opens a flight it is always in "Slew Mode" and of course the aircraft is zipping about all over the place. How does he get out of this setup?? I`ve looked thru settings to see if a box has been checked that shouldn`t be but no luck. Also how does he get rid of the line of info that appears in Red at the top of the screen? Hight, Heading MSL etc etc etcMany thanksGeorge Aldridge

Hi all, My first time flying the heavies today. When I got to the destination, not only the ATC line me up too close to the airport, it also sent me to the wrong end of the runway I guess. When I look at the GPS, the runway only have ILS pointed in one direction, however, ATC sent me to approach from the opposite side of the ILS. How on earth am I going to land the 737. Beside, the APR button on the 737 sometime does not work. So, my questions is, how do you guys land the heavies?

I've used "Flatten" in previous versions of FS but I can't find instructions on how to use it in FS9. I thought it would be in the "Help" menu but can't find it. Searching on "Flatten" was no help either. Can anyone point me to the directions?

Since I was one of the first to complain about the FSD key reissuance policies way back when, I also want to be one of the first to eat a little crow. In the now-locked thread below regarding a company stealing somebody's money I said I'd post the results of my request for a key reacivation of for one of the FSD aircaft I own. (I'm one of those guys who reformats quite often and had to give up on FSD because of the anti-piracy policies). Hey guys, recently installed the POSKY CRJ-900 and something got f'ed up, if you will, with the panels of both the CRJ, and the Learjet. It works fine at flight startup, but about 2 or 3 minutes into the flight, the glass panels shut off completely, same with both aircraft ( they sue the same panel). wondering if this is a known bug or if anyone knows what the problem could be. About 6 months or more ago, I thought I saw a file that increased performance on the default Baron, so it would climb higher, I guess like a TC'd Baron. I can't find anything like that now. Was there ever something like this, or did I imagine it?Thanks!Rick

Hi all,needed to keep the login valid, however......I finally got around to buying some extra memory (Up from 768MB to 1GB matched) when it struck me just how much prices have changed in computing over the years.When I finally got a 486DX266 PC in the early 1990's (after along association with a Sinclair Spectrum (48kb) and an Atari ST (512kb)) it came supplied with 4mb of memory. It soon became obvious that the memory would have to be upgraded to a whopping 8mb !! After a search the best deal was ..... wait for it .....

For some reason I am getting the "green curtain" mesh effect in my scenery around KLGA and KHPN (Westchester). I have these huge elevation differences around these areas. I have tried to locate offending mesh bgl files but no luck yet. I was last in these areas near the end of September and it was OK then. Not sure whether the FS9.1 upgrade did this or not. Any help or suggestions appreciated.Thanks!Airbus

hi there,can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the ground dust effect of helis in fs9? it gives a big decrease in frame rates and for that, it doesn`t look very realistic. so i`d like to get rid of it to have the possibility to land anywhere without having the bad frames.thx and regards,phil

I'm seeing a building in the middle of the runway at Telluride (KTEX).It was quite a surprize when I landed there. Is this a special new feature that came with the FS9.1 update? Does everyone have this?
