after several days of trying to get it to 'compile' a new .gvp file, I give up.is there anyone out there that would consider sending me a good 'compiled' USEnglish.gvp file with FAA options, North America (at least) and accelerated speech??ya, I know its big but I have cable.

I just d/l the fs9 configurator program and noticed that I have two different entries for my display device. One says display.device.radeon 9800 pro.0 and the other says Display.device.radeon 9800 pro (omega 2.4.96).0Do I need both of these entries in the cfg file?

This is just for those who love flying Mustangs and want a realistic one for their hangar.For those of you flying Shigeru Tanaka's P-51D Mustang: this is (at least that I've found) probably the best model of the P-51D around. I've just received the new CH Throttle Quadrant. However, things are not going well with apparaent conflicts with flightsim yoke, and sparse instructions. Does anyone have similiar problems ?

What do you think the chances of FS2006 having water that is trully reflective to the environment just like Pacific Fighters water?I would say 80%. Maybe not as detailed but hopefully alot better than the current water.

Does anyone know where I can find a good operating handbook for the lear 45?? I want a more immersive experience in flight planning...I want to be able to calculate fuel burn, T/O weight, landing weight, V1, VR, and V2 speeds etc, etc...

Today I received the CH Throttle Quadrant. Thanks to my own stupidy, I've completely screwed up the calibration so everything is reversed. Full throttle actually equals idle, etc. I've re-calibrated a thousand times but nothing changes. Any ideas appreciated.

HiI have installed the atn.gau FS9 gauges v 1.2.1by Etienne Martin. Everything is working good except the outside temperature and pressure gauge does not appear.gauge00=Pusbackgauge01=Scalegauge02=ElectricIt looks like the 4th gauge is missing. I strictly followed the installation instructions from Etienne Martin but could not get this one installed.Can anybody help?Many thanksRen

Are the voices for the ATC and Pilots .wav files or synthesized? I am unable to find any .wav files for these.Thanks,Eric T

Greetings simmers :)Could you tell me what Im doing wrong here?I go to flight planner, plan a flight, place the airplane at the gate and then program the autopilot:1. I dial in the altitude2. Select rate-of-climb3. Select NAV4. Dial in the speed 5. Turn on the flight director6. Hi,after installing the 9.1 patch, i found out that ActiveCamera does NOT work in combination with the No-CD *.exe !As soon as i use the original, updated FS9.exe (V9.1)and Disk4 inserted, Active Camera works as it should!Although i can access the ActiveCamera settings inside FS, it is simply not working (e.g. Zoom in/out in the VC etc..)(Active Camera V2.0 with FS9.1 patch applied).I didn't want to believe it, that the NOCD exe can cause problems, but it seems there is really a difference to the original FS9.exe now after the patch...Would be interesting to know if other ActiveCamera users can reproduce this failure too, or if its only me.Cheers,Michael

Hi FolksApologies if this is the wrong forum and if this question has already has been asked before but here goes. I recently updated to the new 9.1 patch and noticed a slight improvement in my frame rates.What i am seeing and have seen in the past is say for example i am flying in a particular direction. I move from an interior view towards and exterior one and the scenery tile below flashes a sort of rusty brown colour before the landclass catches up and it appears. During the flashing the trees etc are visible.As i said apologies if this has been asked b4. after i installed the patch, i deleted my fs9.cfg file so it would rebuild another one, that all worked fine, but now i cant seem to save a situation as default startup, it saves it but just doesnt make it default, i also noticed that diggin around in my fs9.cfg file there isnt that line in there anymore about startup, etcanyone?ciao!Brian S

For what I could find out, the previous versions made FS9 shake too much (I am new to FS9, but have been using FS2002 for two years) and then the new versions released have no turbulence at all.I have the registered version of FSUIPC and AS WXre.Can this problem be addressed? It gets boring to have no turbulence at all and I miss mostly those intense landings with wind shear.On the other hand I have Air File Pro 1.11 from my FS2002. Does it work in FS9. It is not the turbulence I am looking for, but until the other one gets fixed it'll do.Thanks,Leo

Thank you SimTech and Tom Wood! After reading the press release of why these aircraft are now freeware, you have to admire someone who follows his heart instead of his pocket book and we are the ones that benefit. We need to be sure and thank Tom and all of the freeware modelers who do it as a labor of love and add so much enjoyment for us.
