Hey guys, I suspect this must've been addressed eons ago, but a search function doesn't return anything remotely related.For the first time since I've had FS9 (which is when it first came out), the other night (and several times since) I tried to play around with the default 747.What happens is, no matter whether I try to hand fly or use the auto-pilot to get the thing airborne, the nose lifts off at a rather high angle, but the tail just drags on the ground forever.As I say, this is using the straight FS9 default 747 configuration with no other mods on my part whatsoever. After the Patch seemed to breathe stable life into FS9, I've been wanting to manipulate airport parking with AFCAD 2. Aside from Lee Swordy's own tutorial, is there any other that deals with just adding parking gates?I'd like to assign crossing runways but I understand that's still voodoo science in AFCAD2.But with regard to parallel runways. Can I use one of the parallels for only departures, the other for only arrivals like AFCAD 1 was able to do?ThanksRick KMKE

I have never seen anything on this one. I am running FS9 on Windows XP For the first year or so, my profile(owner) has beer the only one to use it. Couple of months ago my daugther was bit by the aviation bug, so I put a shortcut to the FS9.exe file on her profiles startbar. No problems. Was like having to games on one computer, I had my settings she had hers, The way its supposed to work. Now today. Using her profile when clicking her shortcut, approx 5 to 10 seconds after the splash screen appears FS9 CTD. But my side still works. No problem I thought, re-do her profile. No joy. Hello everyone :)Two questions:[1]I downloaded the excellent Posky Air France A340 and Im enjoying flying it around. One of the features I really enjoy is its VC.I wanted to fly the A340 in different airline colors so I downloaded the Philippine Airlines & Cathay Pacific A340s. However these two planes do *not* have a virtual cockpit (as mentioned in the ReadMe file)Is there a file I can get that will add a VC to these two A340s?[2]Is it possible to have a VC *and* see the wing-view*? Hi all,Does anyone know of an addon airport that has been developed with Model Dymanics testing in mind ? For instance, 1000 foot runway markers to monitor on the takeoff roll and landing distance to compare actual aircraft distance numbers with the numbers that a aircraft model dynamics try to emulate. Hi all,Need some help on reading the ILS instrument on the LearJet 45. I know how to set the ILS freq, and I know about the horizontal situation indicator; but where the heck is the vertical situation indicator (the one shows if you are too high or too low)? Am I missing something or I am not doing things correctly?

I Have a GeForce4 ti4600 128MB Video Card, and I've been getting these annoying Blurry textures since I Installed FS9, now I'm about ready to snap, I've tried all I can think of, and they won't go away. Hi,how can i replace my default ai models with FSP modelsI dont want to see deafult FS9 aircrafts as AI anymore but i want to fly iti.e i dont care for realistc routes or anything i just want to replace the defaults

I am seeing no difference in my streams and rivers and am afraid I don't really know what I am supposed to be seeing? (Comparison screen shots anywhere????)As in the FS9 default scenery, some rivers just play out into dry beds for long stretches while in other areas turn into more of a lake than the rivers of reality.I have the American Data: Roads, Railroads and Streams as well as USA Roads. This looks very interesting to me in that it covers the whole Earth not just a sample area. Anyone know anything about this company? I might be interested in this package if it does in fact do what it claims about loading scenery father away and NOT CHANGING vwhen approaching but I suppose unless one is a beta tester it remains only a claim. Another thing that concerns me is that this seems to be limited to elevated data only, not cities and roads etc. At least it appears this way from the screenshots whereas Megascenery covers both all this pretty well except very limited in total coverage. Hi everyone,This is an old topic that never really recieved an answer. I am flying along and I can see what looks like whitebuildings being generated as I fly. Then all of a sudden the buildings seem to dissappear again. The buildings are of different sizes. Also some addon scenery seems to be sinking into the ground. [iSD LIML for instance].I have turned off all addon sceneries to try to find out if any sceneries are conflicting but the building just keep appearing and disappearing. Has anyone any idea what has happened.Graham

Frequently, I will get carried away with downloads from this great site among others. The problem with this is that I also frequently get side tracked before i can install and take a peek at them (I know none of the rest of you are guilty of ever doing this). For some I go back and search for my source to read the Post info. Some have obvious content, and some just get deleted.I recently downloaded "bridges_2.zip". I am reasonably certain that it was from this site, or Flightsim but a search brings no results from either. You are about to learn why my 'water rudders' gauge as uploaded in DCAMAAM7.ZIP was not an official file, LOL.I made a mistake in the README. Part of the installation process reads:QUOTE4. Within the download DCAMAAM7.ZIP, look inside the folder 'AIRCRAFT/MAAM-SIM XC-47C IFR'. Every once I a while I see files or advertisements that connect the Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 with an older Tu-154 model here in the library, mostly to get a VC.The original Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 (the current review was based on) is ONLY available at http://tu154.avsim.ru and should not be changed.I strongly advise not to install solutions, that have been uploaded elsewhere, because then you loose the well balanced flight dynamics and the accurate elevator/stabilizer/CoG handling. I was wondering if anyone out there is having the same problem after updating to fs9.1: The problem is that after exiting fs2004, fs9.exe does not disappear from the processes list in the task manager and continues to use up resources. Very annoying to have to close it manually. Never had the problem with fs9.0. A further annoyance is a program called wmiprvse.exe which flightsim now seems to launch when before the update it didn't.
