Gunfighterany help appreciated -- my FS9 has lost the VOR's. Can't recognize them on charts,( they won't display), and if I dial in a particular VOR frequency, not recognized by the aircraft. ILS's OK. Any way to fix this? Where would I find this data on the installation CD's? thanks for any help. Greg.

Hello,I was just wondering whether anyone knew of, or had a 737 NG idle sound recorded from either the cockpit or the cabin in front of the engine which I could use for a soundset, or if not, a video which has it? I managed to record many sounds from recent 737-800 flights I have been on, but the idle sound I have managed to obtain has a lot of talkin in it which cannot be edited around. I'm asking this as I'm in the process of creating an accurate 737 NG CFM soundset for use with FS9 and the idle sound is the only thing which I am requiring.CheersTim

I want to use the Lear VC with the POSKY CRJ but everytime I open up panel config and try to alias the panel (Like you do with sound) it doesnt work...how do you use the lear VC for the POSKY jet?? I love the CRJ but the panel that came with it isnt that great so I just want to sub it out...bear in mind that I want to alias the VC not just the 2d panel...Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

Just downloaded the plane, but it seems that in the main panel view, a black box appears on the bottom portion. I am able to right click it an close it. Anyone else having this issue? Other than that it is a great plane.

Hi,i would like to hear your opinion about the 9.1 patch, based on YOUR OWN experience and NOT on the MS-provided list of fixes and enhancements.The reason i ask is, that i don't see much of a difference after applying the patch, good or bad. It's hard to tell for me if there is an improvement in e.g. framerates etc. I was not unhappy before the patch, and so am i after the patch.An improvement for me is the higher mesh resolution, which i really can enjoy with the UK Terrain mesh and the Visual Flight UK scenery.And, i have the impression that the haze effects look better now with cloudy weather. Will EVP 3.1 increase the ATC speed rate in FS9? Or there is another program that actually does that? Pilot_76

I wanted to try Active Camera 2004. I installed the 2.0 version because I have the FS9.1 patch. When I start FS it doesn't start: FS hangs up and I remain with the FS splash screen.The same problem without the FS9.1 patch.Then I remove Active Camera (or the .DLL file from the Modules folder) and FS2004 starts again.Do someone else have the same behavoiur?Do someone know how to solve it?Thanks in advanceMario

Hi, For those have missed it was released from a while ago, this files FFPV2.ZIP (use only the night files)http://fsw.simflight.com/FSWdownload.htmlIt remove the clouds lights at night and complete black sky. I can't afford to be spending money on FSMetro or AS2004 right now, but I would like a better way of finding the real weather for a location and altitude than the FS weather map, which destabilises FS from my experience and is lame.Are there any weather freeware addons that can give me an easier interface to the weather forcasts for various altitudes enroute, or allow me to get my weather from someone else but Jeppesen, who never seem to include the gusts for the UK very well... and it's hardly ever raining in Ireland!

In today's downloads is an FS9 utility called Ground2k4V5.1 by Christian Fumey. Can anyone tell me a little more about what this utility does in FS9? I read the readme file, but it does not tell me much about it.

Hi.I have a question regarding Aerosoft German Airports 2 (fs2004 patch).Everything works Ok, but what I must change in AFCAD2, to have option to pick the runaway of my choice. For example when ATC gives me runaway I have an option to change runaway, but when I choose to change runaway it is blank.Second question, what will happen If I install Simflyers EDDF. Must I uninstall GA2 or because of Higher priority the SimFlyers scenery will become active scenery???ThanksEdin

I know this is an FS2004 bug, and it's been talked about in here over and over, but...Are there any solutions or part solutions that are worth trying?I have tried stacking 4 layers of overcast 500 feet apart and still I can see through. Occasionally when flying above a few overcast layers from real weather, in a localised region around the aircraft I can't see the ground, but any distance away in different directions there are open holes in the cloud. We know the default scenery sometimes causes those ugly "water squares" over the ocean- you guys know what I mean. Has anyone been able to access the website of the team that designed the new Puerto Plata Scenery. Is it freeware, as I know a few pilots who would be interested in a decent POP scenery.

I used to have a link to a website where people could upload their freeware gauges to. This is one area that Avsim could improve their website-- they have a PANELS download area , what about a gauges area?Anybody have any info regarding this?Thanks Barry

I have the airport environment upgrade and while I love the look of the buidlings, the textures are quite large...I wanna tone them down to 256x256...right now the building textures are 512x512...how do I resize them?? more specifically what program(free) do I use to do it?

Hello, since three days, I have a strange CTD around Orcas Island. The first time the CTD occured, when I flew from Sitka to Bremerton with my King Air. It occured when I started my descend. I got an error notification-> modname:unknown (nothing with terrain.cfg) The second time it occured I flew from Bremerton to Orcas Island with the Beaver. About 2nm before the landing on Orcas->CTDI have the Orcas Island scenery from FS Addon, but it makes no difference if it is installed or not.If I try to load a flight on Orcas Island the loading screen remains about 10 seconds on 0% and then I get the error notification from above.I tried to load at night but it's the same.
