Hi all,I am about to purchase a 737. I did some research and have come to these two. Which one is better? From PMDG's website, they claim all the buttons and switchs work in the VC as well; what about the one from DreamFleet? I would like to hear some comments from existing owners of this same aircraft from the two companies. Thnx.

Hello Guys,Just wanted to Drop in and see if anyone else has had an error message come up when trying to use the new jetway scenery for rwy12 object placer. I have following install instructions but get the error message when I select the jetways scenery from the rwy12 object listings.fly safeDave

A: Is it possible to skip FS2004 asking for a CD #4 on startup?B: How do I skip the intro menu and go directly into a "default flight"? I don't see an option for this anywhere. Tehre is an option that let's you save the default flight and it even says that it will load this flight on startup, but it never does...Thanks,

OK, this is totally my bad here - I wanted to do a complete, FRESH re-install of FS2004, and I completely forgot to back-up my FS9.cfg file!Could some of you guys please post what you are using for levels in the sound fader section of your FS9.cfg, and if anyone can remember what the added extra that some use at the bottom of the section to force the sim to use 44100 Hz sound, I;d greatly appreciate it!Scott

How does registration of this module effect FS 2004 or any addon programs?I use SB and am content. I saw at one time , depending on which version you used, there was information easily available to register the program..for SB with a code? I do not have registered ver and sb works, what am I missing not downloading and regeristing the latest version?Some times I get a notice that the program is not accredited or regerstered..what does this mean...correct me here if I am wrong :-).I am not a teckno geek and will not play with too many adjustments I =can not handle? I recently noticed that when AI placed the default Kingair 350 into a scene, the airplane was always parked tail-low, with the nose wheel several 'feet' in the air. Never thought much of it before. Today, I tried to fly the Kingair 350 and found that the airplane really is placed in FS9 with the nose wheel off the ground. I have tried re-tweaking the vertical position of all the landing gears, tried copying the old FS8 airplane version into FS9, and also tried downloading a new aircraft.cfg and air file from Avsim. But nothing seems to work to get all the wheels back on the ground.Has anyone else seen this problem before, or can you suggest a solution?jetpilot21

I installed this great program last night and spent the night adding several objects to my home airport. However, I discovered that my Windows XP Home now boots to the blue Welcome Screen where I have to select a User even though I'm the only one. Before this, it always booted straight to the desktop.After searching microsoft.com I found that this in a known issue after installing Microsoft's .NET Framework 1.1 which is part of the Object Placer install. Hi I've noticed this for some time now and just can't seem to fix it. It appears that fs2004 seems to ignore my atc parking codes and randomly places airlines where it likes.I have a good knowledge and appreciation of controlling ai and i'm particularly careful to ensure all my ai aircraft are assigned the correct atc parking codes. However, all attempts to group airlines together are just ignored - i even find cargo aircraft waiting at gates even though i know for a fact that i've assigned their gate type to cargo and passenger types waiting on the cargo ramp.Not a show stopper i know, but still frustrating. Any help or suggestions much appreciated.RegardsGary

I bought the new Skydecks CRJ Panel, and it's quite a nice panel. However, I can't seem to mesh it well with my CRJ's. I tried one of the PAD liveries, but I can't get rid of big white blocks in the Virtual panel. I read the instructs, and I can't seem to get everything right. What are some of you doing? And exactly which CRJ Model seems to work flawlessly with the new Skydecks panel?

Hi all,I have installed the great package together with patch of the Antonov 24-RV by Dimitri Samborski and I would like to ask what is the way you are starting the engines. I am following the instructions as per the manual and also I have searched in here and found a post with even more details however when I hit the starter button nothing happens.However it starts all ok by CTRL-E....but that is not the way this baby should be started right??I believe it maybe something wrong or I am missing some switch somewhere....if this is not a bug or so....I am running on FS9....unpatched.So any help please appreciated...ThanksFlylux

How much of a performance boost could be expected if FS used hyper-thread tech and would run lets say weather on its own processor? Would one expect this would make a highly noticeable difference or not? I understand what hyper thread is but not sure about the benefits of programs since this is still kinda new and not too many programs use it yet.

Hi guys and girls.I had problems installing the patch and then problems unintalling flight sim.Eventualy reformatted and now have a clean, virginal FS9, no add ons, nothing.Can I install the patch straight onto it, before I start installing all of my addons( Active camera, Ultimate Traffic, scenery, Aircraft.)?The Active Camera website says to install their update before the 9.1 patch..?I'm running SP2 aswellThanks in advanceSteve

I think I have succeeded and have now put my method into a form of help file in the hope some other beginner could be saved a lot of headaches. In a post last Tuesday by Gooper (does anybody put their names in the info section?) asking for recommendations of good GA aircraft, JimmiG said to take a look at this so I did. Have you seen this behavior before? I cannot resize or move or reposition the Radio stack window, ATC window, the Compass window or GPS window once they open to their default location in the cockpit. Interestingly, I can open the Kneeboard window and reposition it to another location in the cockpit window and I can resize it too. It is possible, but I am not absolutely sure, that this behavior started since I applied the FS9.1 patch. Help! Thanks,

Just installed Flight1's Cessna 172 and think it's great..HOWEVER; when trying to adjust the NAV1 OBS, it jumps through increments of ten. I know the older version of FSUIPC had a fix for this but I have the current registered version and can't switch back, as some of my utilities require this version. Any thoughts??

I must have done something to the addon folder as I now get a Scenery.cfg error in local scenery directory (Addon ScenerySCENERY) Scenery Area .038 not found........now nothing in this file works in FS9, is there a corrction I can make to resore my scenery addons?? Thanks for the help

I recently noticed that I no longer have any waves in FS9. I am using FS Water so I posted on the Flight1 support forum and followed the suggestions I received there, but it didn't help. So I'm looking to the brilliant people here for a solution.I'm running a P4 2.6 with 1 gb of RAM and an nvidia FX5600 with 256 Mb of RAM, Windows XP Home with SP2 and FS9 is updated with the 9.1 patch. What is the significance of the vitual copilot entry? Default is 0, what happens when you change it to 1?

Is there a program that can log the framerates in fs9? I want this because I have found that every 9.8nm or so I get a decrease in framerates of about 10 frames per second and it lasts 1.7nm. If I had a program that could log this I could see it more clearly if it could be documentet.
