A problem has just started materialising on my system.After engine start-up - and usually when taxying out for take-off - all the textures of the surrounding AI aircraft lose their liveries and take on a hotch-potch of black and white 'boxes', 'diamonds' or 'zig-zag' patterns. I notice this after I have switched interior views several times.If I continue to fly, the same will eventually occur on the exterior and interior of the plane I am flying.Thinking I might have 'over-tweaked' my FS9 I tried a reload but it is still occurring - even though I am now mostly on default settings.I have a Radeon All in Wonder 8500 DV card and 1.25gb DDR RAMI am no expert but I could not f…

Hi Guys!Does any one know how can i make my ATC sounding only in my headphones.Im talking about offline flying for sure.I know that there is a special sound module called Esound (it's from Peter Dowson www) but im not sure how it works exactly, beside all these ATC sounds are placed in a .GVP file (170mb) so im wondering if i can extract them or something like that. Hello everyone, I am having a problem, everytime that I open the kneeboard and go to the check list ,references, radio, breifing, navigation log, and I just click on any of those windows FS9 crashes. It tells me that will include 3 files in the error report: fs9.CFG.txt dxdiag.xml scenery.cfg I did alredy install Mark's latest kneeboard. I have no problems with the key command (A).I hope that you can help me fix this problem. Thank you

With the POSKY a/c I got, they have no payload and full fuel yet they are over the max gross limit! They are not balanced either and cannot balance them. Can anyone 'fill me in' on this please?(Maybe I'd better buy some PMDG stuff...)Danielwww.danielmcaloon.tk

Just bought it. I am impressed: the elevator is supremely good, and 200% better than default Cessna. Now I can take off and land normally, and actually pull or push on the yoke to a significant extent without crashing because of control hyper-sensitivity. The default MSFS a/c are all fairly good, but when you get this, you realize that good commercial product beats the pants off the default models.JS

Hi,Well, I now feel confident about my flying skills in VFR condtions and I want to start learning to navigate in IFR conditions.:-eek I remember reading a thread on one of the forums(I believe this one)regarding the FS2004 settings for clouds, turbulence, visibility, and other weather variables. I have a registered copy of FSUIPC version 3.40 but no other weather addons. I don't have the fs9 patch and still have Windows XP with SP1. I tried using one of the "weather themes" in FS2004 but got some flashing/blinking on some of the cloud edges; The weather patterns also changed too rapidly. Gotta give that guy HUGE kudos- sloped runways. He has went toe-and-toe with MS for ten years, and in many ways has flat out kick their butts. The new scenery looks pretty good too. Looks like it has virtual cockpits now also.

Hi Guys,I'm having a problem with the pushback guage and PMDG's 737NG aircraft. The pushback gauge works fine until I move my flight yoke (PFC Jetliner) then when I select push the plane keeps going left in circles or if I select pull the plane keeps going right in circles and the aircraft will not go straight. I must restart FS9 then it works again until I move the yoke.Any help would be thankfulMike

I am trying to set up TNG AI traffic in a small ultralight airfield (EBBY part of Belgium7000 v2.3), with Traffic Tools v2.02. I prefer to use FS2002 for the better frame rates...I moved the Beechcraft Baron 98 from FS2004 to 2002, and it loadsfine with panel, however the throttle and brakes do not work..itjust sits there and idles...What did I miss moving over to FS2002?..or what am I not doing right?Thanks! for any help JimmyDoo

Well Heres my delimma. Ive had the Bremerton Washington Scenery for a good while and it has worked fine until now. I havent visited there for a good while and when i tried to go there yesterday and loaded the scenery MSFS9 shut completely down booting me right out.So I tried again and the same thing happened. Then I disabled the scenery and it happened again. I even removed the folder form the addon scenery area and it still happens. Ive tried different aircraft, modes and even slewing to the airport from a close neighbor but when i get close it just dumps me out of FS9. Anyone else have this problem? Damn I liked that scenery but even the default airport is a no go now.J…

Hi..I cannot seem to get the fuel selector to work on the Howard 500.Didn't know it wasnt working untill I started looking more into my problem with landing this bird.It seems the gauge will only select the front tank and the rear/main. This result in the rear tank being empty before the main tanks, wich in turn make the Howard really hard to land because the C.G is to far to the front.Anyone else have this problem?I haven't touched the files for the Howard after installing it.Please someone help.RegardsJT

If I re-install FS-9 over my existing installation, will I have to re-install all add-ons including aircraft?

This is for any panel gurus out there. I have something strange happening with the trim and it appears to be panel specific. What happens is I load any 727 model be it the old FFX one, Captain sim, or Erick Cantu's latest (not released) and the trim works ok if I am in spot view when I start out. As soon as I get into the cockpit the trim seems to overeact quite badly with just a small movement producing huge pitch changes. Not really huge but its too much trim applied and it results in some unwanted pitch excursions. If I remain in spot view without going into panel view, everything seems fine and even watching the elevator it seems the trim behaves normally. Its fine on…

When editing a .pln file I opened it with NOTEPAD but accidentally allowed that annoying little box to be checked that says "Always open with this program you daft idiot, tee hee?". Suddenly all my .pln files were in NOTEPAD format. Aaarggh. Tried resetting them to be opened by FS9.EXE but that is not right either.What can I do? How should they be configured now that I have messed up? Well, Imaginesim http://www.imaginesim.com (makers of the new KDEN scenery) have not offically said this but they put a picture clue up on their website under future products. You can easily tell that it shows the south end of the mega NWA terminal and the runway shown is 9R. No clue on the release date but it looks like it is going to be good.
