took a look at the reality xp instruments and am interested. couple of questions though, it says they're pop-ups so does that mean they can be resized and moved to different cockpit locations and how do they blend colorwise? they look grey in color and would match the lear45 but what about other colored panels? william

I just tried to install some new planes in FS9. However, they're not showing up when I start FS9. To my knowledge, everything in the Config, Airfile, and Model config matches up correctly. I have successfully installed add-ons for over three years so I don't know what's going on. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a bug within MSFS? I'm new to this forum so if this question has been posted before, I apologize. Thanks,Jeff in PHX

I have a friend of mine who just bought a real nice '68 3 blade 200 horse Moony from Cal. He has FS2002 does any one out there know of a better air file or is the default satisfactory?

I upgraded all my drivers today. Now when I fire up FS9 the white buildings start flashing. When I go to spot view the white cessna also flashes. All other colors seem to be stable. I have tried every setting on display all to no avail What to do? By the way I fired up FS2002 and it works perfectly. So the problem must be in FS9 ! Thanks, Chief

In my FS2004 settings for scenery, I have the following:Addon Scenery......MichiganMackinac Island......TetonsSo, the Addon Scenery folder I think has always been listed (it'spart of the default). When I add new scenery, such as Michiganabove, do I need to add it separately (as I've done) so thatit's sub-folders for scenery/texture are available during thesimulation?Or, does the existence of the Addon Scenery in the listsufficient to recognize all sub-folder sceneries?I think I need to add each individual scenery as a separate entry(which is what I've done), but I don't want to slow the system by somehow duplicating the entry.JerryG

Why do some a/c have an AoA indicator? If you have an AI that works, isn't that adequate?JS

Hi,does anyone know where to obtain ils frequencies. There was a website but seems to have gone. I dont know if FSNav or FSBuild has this data included as i am not that up with navigation (i tend to fly direct-GPS and follow the red line until instructed otherwise!) :)CheersDan

I have been waiting for this release for the PMDG 737 and am merrily downloading the file.Any comments from those who have already downloaded and purchased this product.Is it as good as it appears to be? and bug free. Does it effect the frame rates in any way?Peter

Flew into Boston early this morning from KLGA and was greated by snow, some icing and a 400 foot ceiling in my New ATR-72. With the ATR and Active Sky , windshield wipers going, the approach was beyond Real :) I could see the runway lights start to break though the snow at about 5-600 feet. The add-ons in FS9 are incredible this year. I was out of town on a business trip this week and couldn't wait to get at the controls on my ATR. Am I addicted, you bet!!!!

Out of curiosity I looked at thier latest model, the A380. They say it is a 46mb download...yet, they also say you need 1.2GB of free space. ROFLMAO....thats a hell of a compression ratio!!Anyone ever spend money with them? I mean, thier models seem to be half way decent. But thier panels are horrible. Anyone can cut and past from MS default gauge set. Thier products are not even good enough to be called freeware....they should pay people to download it!Mike

I tried to select the ILS frequency I had in the NAV2 radio and hoped to see it work on the HSI. HOwever, the HSI only seems to work with NAV1. If that's the case, what is the purpose of the DME NAV1/NAV2 select button. It doesn't seem to activate NAV2 for the HSI. Is this a bug? Using FS2004 and Bombadier Learjet 45.

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum...so:I own Ultimate Traffic 2004. I also fly frequently on VATSIM's network. Is there a way to replace the way out dated CSL file with the plane models used in Ultimate Traffic?? If so, where could I find instructions for doing so? Thanks in advance!mike brown

I only know of one a/c that was designed to be flown from the VC only -- the Antonov-AN14. This is a great little a/c -- probably the best, the only STOL transport a/c, around .But , anyway, now that we have a pretty good and workable VC in FS2004, I am interested to know if anybody knows of any other a/c that were specifically designed to only fly from the VC -- to be able to do this of course, all aircraft functions have to be actionable from within the VC.Barry

Just like to know if there is a entry anywhere in the FS9 cfg file to allow changing of the AI taxi speed? I have tried John Stottlemire's program but continually get "Error Message 76". "Path Not Found".I don't know why this happens to just this program as every other program I have D/L'd and installed recognizes the proper path for FS9.

I installed active camera on my computer, but after playing with it for a while I decided it was to hard on my frame rates. (from 24 down to 21)I decided to uninstall it. Now I don't no how to get my tower view back to where it was before active camera. Can anyone please help?Thanks Chuck

I've noted a number of users have downloaded my new program, and I wanted to ask a few questions for those who have tried it and weren't on the beta:#1. Do you have prior experience performing landings using APR mode?#2. Do you have prior experience using Autoland?#3. Does it seem to work?#4. If not, what are the issues?#5. If there are issues, do you have FSUIPC installed (FSUIPC can control some settings that Autoland depends on)?#6. Anyone tried it with FS2000 or FS2002?I'm throwing out the question because out of 2000+ downloads, I've only seen one email seeking help and one email offering support, other than the comments I received when I announced its release …

Hi,does anybody know how to zoom out (say 0,75) only the outside view in forward view, while keeping the normal ratio on the cocpit view. If I am sitting in the cockpit and zoom out with "-" key, the whole contents of the screen zoom out. I would like to zoom only what is outside of the plane, and keep the cockpit "as is". Is it possible ?Thanks.

I loaded American data bridges, however, I notice that the bridges are mostly under water. Has anyone had this problem and resolved it?
