Which is the one to go for & why?

Hi,I am / was trying to paint the PSS Dash 8, and I always use the demo of FSRepaint as a viewer, I now find that FSRepaint is unable to view PSS planes.Anyone know what the reason is, and can this be "fixed"?CheersDan.

I seem to have an intermittent delay factor in my joystick input (CH Yoke USB).Not very easy to explain this one, but I'll give it a go. On finals, for example, if I am coming in with my nose too low, I pull back gently on the stick. Nothing happens for a few seconds, and then, suddenly, the aircraft reacts and pulls up. Joystick works normally for a few seconds and then does the hesitation thing again. This also happens with the ailerons.Pretty nerve-racking so close to the ground.I've checked out the yoke, serviced it, and all seems to be well.Interested to know if anyone else has experienced this. It's ruining my flying.

I know the large jets get all the buzz in the forums, but I wanted to bring attention to this little gem--the Rans S7 Coyote. What I like the most is the VC--it's one of the most flyable VC's I've seen in a light GA aircraft, with outstanding visibility. I use a screen saver called "Holding Pattern". I own Mega Scenery for both So Cal and Nor Cal, and am probably going to put it up on the swapmeet. I get persistent texture degradation, even with visibilty set quite low. And I have a pretty good rig (AMD 64 3.5; ATI 800XT Platinum, 1 gig of DDr 3200). Do owners of the VFR scenery - England or Nor. Cal experience the same things? Thanks for your help.

Hello Pilots,at the moment I am flying the tinmouse.org 737 very intensivly in Africa. Many airports there have no ILS, only a VOR station at the airport. So I like to know who to do a real VORDME APP. I tune in the VOR freq. and for the OBS course I set the runway hdg. Then I make a midfield crossing and turn into the runway-backcourse. When the DME (if aviable) shows 5,0nm or something like that I make a straight 180

I very often fly my landing with "observation plane" view (basically to plane-watch), from time to time superseding the main panel by using shift+1. Now, is it possible to make screenshots or videos which record only the observation plane view even when I have the panel visible? I want to send a little video of some of my dramatic landings to friends, but without the panel visible in the screen all the time. Possible?

Hello,I've search and searched and found many threads about blurry textures. I've tried different hints and tips to try to solve this, but to no avail. This happened on my old TI4600 and now on my new 6800GT 256 mb card. What should I do?!? This is spoiling the "real-as-it-gets" factor.Flying GA aircraft, this poses no problem, but as I climb to anything, I'd say, above 18000 ft, it becomes terribly blurry. I took this screenshot in the default Cessna slewed to ~FL350 in northern Michigan with very little AI or anything else to possibly skew it. Hi everyoneplease tell me if im being over the top about this..but having bought this MD82 and seeing the hype about realistic VC ..blah blah..i'm really angry with Lago for releasing it before its ready.it was quite expensive after all.1.no manual..it wasn't translated in time...WHAT???2.missing floor textures..don't lago check these things3.exterior model.wipers missing.the switch is on the overhead panel and it works..but there are NO wipers inside or out!!!!4.No night lighting in the VC at night..just dim blurred looking VC that you can't read.i use 1600x1200 res!!5.flight model..aircraft goes fom 0 to 400 in 20secs.have to say i'm not an expert on the MD82..6.six rep…

I have never had this problem before in the 15 years I have used FS. I have recently purchased the CH pro pedals, which I use with my Saitek X45. No problems for a few weeks until last night my rudder stopped working. If I look at the rudder while imputing commands to it, it jumps. It starts to go to the right or left then jumps back to neutral. I have unplugged all joysticks and still has the same problem. Any advice?? Makes flying useless if I can not get it. Thanks.

Ever since applying the FS9.1 patch, I find that I am frequently crashing in VisualFX.dll. I have an ATI 9800XT. Anyone else experiencing this?J

Anybody able to tell me if there is any tutorials for making or editing effects? ie smoke, water splash etc.

After reading what's in the forums on landclass files, then downloading a few files, and reading install instructions, I'm even more confused as what to do and what not to do to avoid a memory leak. Lately, after I close off FS9, I've been getting the dreaded yellow triangle/exclamation mark in the bar at the bottom saying that windows ran out of memory and adjusted itself (which would explain that long pause that occurred just as I was coming into that tricky landing w/ crosswinds 'n' all...you know...the one where I bent my prop in the dirt just ahead of the landing strip). Hello,beeing frustrated by the A320 PIC because of two major confirmed bugs that crash FS9.exe (MCDU HOLD & STAR) I need something new.It seems the SSW A320 will be released when the A340 PIC will come out, too (...)So the only thing left based on my research is the PMDG 737-800/900 ?I favour complex systems that are real world as much as possible.PSS products are too flat in my view.So PMDG is the best thing for FS2004 at the moment ?

Hi everyone,I wondered if I could tax some brains on this little issue, which has been present ever since I bought FS2004 upon its release. Presumably its something that affected everyone, and yet I have seen no fixes documented anywhere for it.So the problem...my default Innsbruck (LOWI) runway, is the wrong surface type, ie FS reads it as grass, despite obviously being correctly textured as tarmac. My chosen aircraft always bounce along it with mud/dust effects emerging from the tyres!I believe this is a known bug, and although I haven't experienced it anywhere else myself, I am sure there are various airports at which it does happen.So, can it be fixed?
