Id like to find out if there might be any of you SP2 users out there who have tried using the newest FSD aircraft installers. Their new installers look visually different now and in my particular case at least does not seem to work now that i have SP2 installed..in fact i had to ask for a refund on a new purchase i had just made from them due to this problem. The installer crashes.I have no other install type problems or application type problems at all since installing SP2...in fact the older type FSD installers dont crash like the new ones..however i cant use the older ones any longer due to too many re-installs i guess..so they sent me the newer installers so id be abl…

I'm sure plenty of threads for the abovementioned aircraft have been posted before but I wanted to share my thoughts nevertheless.I just purchased and installed the RA Spitfire today and I've been flying it non-stop for the last two hours. I downloaded the Jet City installer exe file then scanned the file with Antiy Ghostbusters (Antiy Ghostbusters can detect and kill Trojans, backdoors and worms) (I scan all files I download). The Ghostbusters software found that the exe file is a backdoor.DSSdoor.aMy question is what is a backdoor.DSSdoor.a and can it harm or infect my computer?

If you already have Active Camera, is there any advantage to installing FS Camera 1.5, and are they even compatible with one another?

Hi,I have a problem with all the add-ons that i can try. The textures of the add-on are always under the Microsoft ones when i'm on the ground but they start to appear as i climb over the airport. I tried installing them in the addon scenery folder, in a separate folder and it does the same thing. I tried about 60 different airports, one payware, and it's the same for every file. I do put them on a higher level when installing them. is it possible to have alternate GPS in place of gps500? I downloaded the garmin CNX80 Simulator, bt this appears to be a WAAS unit and operates in standalone mode. Seems like the ideal gps for fs9, so r there alternatives? Thanx 4 all the excellent work u guys do here to help other newbies like myself. Cheers

I posted last night just fine but when I tried it this evening all I got was a page saying the domain name has expired and the site was awaiting renewal or deletion. Just wondering if SimV is done for or this is just a glitch.

I tried every solution mentioned in this great forum on how to solve stuttering but to no avail, I have the latest graphics card drivers for my geforce fx5200 but the stuttering got worse, so I was wondering which older driver should I download that might help my cause a bit???Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me with these.1) Every time I start FS9 it goes to the original default flight. (Cessna at KSEA) I have created new defaults but when I start FS9 over the next time it loads the old default again.2) Also, I own active Camera and now have to uncheck the "gradual ????" in spot view every time I switch aircraft. Seems to me that my cfg file is regenerating every time I start up FS.Any suggestions?Thanks,Scott

Hello, I am wondering how to make AVI or MPEG type movies of some of the flights. The Standard Movie Maker in FS 2004 is rather jumpy. Can someone tell me how to go about making a good quality movie? Thanks j.o.

I see from the panel screenshots some sort of route being displayed. My question is how do you imput routes into it? Is there an FMC or something like that? And also, what kind of AP NAV systems are there? Similar to LNAV, VNAV? Please excuse my ignorance. I'm a moron when it comes to turboprops...Thanks,Tim

In VC (using trackir), I get a microstutter when I turn very fast. I assume this happpens whilst textures load, and is unavoidable. THe concern is thatit happens if I turn my head shortyl therafter (I assume because what has to be drawn has changes). My questions is: which parameters can be adjusted to minimize this? At this speed, the human eye cannot detect the fact that the film is actually a series of rapidly changing still pictures. I suddenly realised that out of the blue I now have cockpit recirc fans buzzing in my 737-200. I have not modified the SOUND files for this a/c at any level that I am aware of. The recirc fans continue to buzz even if I press "Q" or "P" (!!) I cannot turn off the chirping-buzzing sound while any 737-200 is loaded. It drives me nuts.What would cause this to happen? Could it be a GAUGE file from another a/c I installed? How do I figure this out and fix it?Appreciate help, thanks!JS

It's new in the library (search under Gordon Lee, hehe) and it's an island off taiwan with dual runways. One of the runways runs right between 2 mountains so it has a cover, lol, I guess for rocks falling down. But you're on final, and all you have is 100 or so feet at the end before you enter the tunnel, so you have to grease it. Perfect ILS to go with it--I use FS Navigator, so ran the dbupdate before I flew it--and the scenery around it is great. It'll be one of my regular asian pacific refuelling stops now for sure. In my C/program files, FS9 aircraft folder, I see a number of a/c I have installed..but when I fire up fs9, thses a/c do not show up in the a/c dropdown menu? There are many a/c that I had saved and then copy, pasted..is there a way to maike these a/c show, I have many and it is a lot of work the other way, to reinstall?ThanksMike

I am trying to decide on the Iron Knuckles DC-9 or the Lago MD 80. I know originally the IK DC-9 was for FS2002 and has been patched but I am wondering how it has faired in FS9. I also have followed some posts on the MD-80 and I understand there was an update since it came out and I am wondering if it is better or not. I just wondered if someone with both or either could give me a recomendation.Thank you

Whenever I put the throttle up on any a/c, the plane will move to the left, and if I try to correct it, it will turn again. I have tried the neutralize the rudder and aeilron, but it still does it. Also, on auto pilot, the plane will ALWAYS be tilting to the left. Please help me!
