Another stupid question for you smart people out there.I seem to remember in FS2002 that I took a turbo prop to 34,000 ft and remember seeing contrails when switching to Tower or the Spot view, but I am unable to recreate this. Watching the History Channel, I always see color films of World War II bombers at like 25,000 ft or so and hundreds of them in their formations and it sticks in your mind because the sky is a clear blue below the bombers, but almost completely white from all the contrails coming from the bombers, it's really cool. Anyway my question is, why can I not get contrails to come from turbo props in FS? The other day I took the default King Air to 34,00…

Have downloaded & installed Mooney by Tomislav Stimac. Nice to have the ADF & other goodies, however, there is no mini-panel on cycle through views with the W key. Hi all,First of all, here are my system specs: P4 3.0Ghz, MSI motherboard,520W Power supply, RealTek AC'97 Audio, Markvision 512MB DDR 333/PC2700 Ram, Radeon X800 Pro, Xp Pro (SP2 installed). Now to my dilemna. FS9 runs pretty well on my new set-up. I average around 25 fps (locked at 30) in most cases with all settings far right. The only problem I am noticing is a slight pause (maybe a few milliseconds but quite noticeable) when I am on the ground, and ATC is communicating with another aircraft or me. It is most annoying, especially during take-off or on final approach. I have tried various settings, updated all drivers, different tweaks as suggested for similar problems…

Hello,I am recently having problems with the wind sound in all my Jet planes at cruise. Sometimes the sound goes high and then low with too much "S-S-S-H-H-H" noice. Anybody knows a cure for this? Thnx

I was wondering whether anyone has put together a reasonably working combination of a good visual model of the Airbus A 380 and a panel? If so, what would you recommend? Payware or freeware? I've seen people put shots in the screenshot forum, but am looking to get a (entirely fictitious, I know) combo of plane and panel.Thanksricardo

Does anyone use UT for FS9 that can help me? I tried the Ultimate Traffic website but their tech support solutions haven't worked so far. I tried to download new updates but get an error "Ultimate Traffic encountered an error while attempting to load the AirportAssignments.dat file and needs to close." When I choose "Previous Updates not Installed" I have no problems, just when I choose "New Updates". Flight1 says the only way I should get this message is if I have an empty AirportAssignments file or a missing one. I loaded the default one they suggested and got the same results. I never had a problem before, and the only thing I can think of that is different is the last…

I have just flown into EGPH to find about 7 or so oversized jetways dotted around the airport, not all by the terminal.I can get rid of them by either:deleting the main .bgl file in the Edinburgh scenery folder (in which case I lose most of the rest of the scenery as well); ordeleting the jetway*.bgl files in the rwy12 static object library scenery folder (in which case none of my other Rwy12 sceneries show the jetways)I'm using rwy12 v1.1 and fs2004. Anyone got any ideas (I have also tried re-arranging the scenery layers to bring EGPH to the top - no effect)RegardsROb

With the patch for the Lago Maddog, the eyepoint in the 2d is too high. Would appreciate some expertise on how to change the eyepoint in the panel left, right, forward right and forward left views.Thanks in advance

I have been trying to get the Runway Info Guage to work on a few of my panels. When I click on the switch I just get a small box (in the backgound that say "dialog". I have installed the runway and airport data in the same folder as the fs9.cfg file (documents and settingsusernameapplication datamicrosoftfs9) among other folders to try to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there, my question is about active sky 2004.5 and the latest build...i installed the latest update yesterday and put the latest fsuipc v3.4.5 and it is registered, i loaded fs2004 and then as2004 and as2004 said that fs wasnt connected. I turned on ipc logging and checked out the log and it said that something was read only...the only things that are read only in my fs9 are the fs9.exe and trafficinfo.dll. Does anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be. I have attached my fsuipc.log to see if anyone knows whats going on. I cant run as2004 now and I am very frustrated as flying w/o it sucks. Hi AllI want to change the pitch in A330-200, because when for instance landing with very low fuel, I need to fly appr.d 180 kts. to keep a proper pitch.Is it possible in the aircraft.cfg file to change the pitch-angle to lower the nose in flight?Thanks in advanceRegardsHenrik KoingBGGH
