Is there any way to change the date the seasons change on? I live around Nashua, and the snow is basically gone now, but MSFS still has us knee deep in the stuff. Also, the date the leaves change was way off. What files and variables control this stuff?Thanks,Thomas Perry

I have problems with all the default panels on Fs2004, they appear bigger than the screen, But as you can see in the picture, the buttons stay in the position they should be like the panel had open correctly.Can anyone plz help me, this problem is not letting me fly, because i cant use the panel and see the indicatorsthxaxel

there's a square box to the right of the FO front panel top right corner it has four botton or lights and a switch below them it about 4"x4" dose anyone know what it for, I have a DVD call air contractors and the FO keep swiching during preflight check list

Somethings happened which I seem to recall there was an explanation a while back. When I load the Flight 1 ATR my computer then does the standard load of the sim but stops at 77% and then crashes and the usual "do you want to tell Microsoft" box appears. Anyone any ideas?Kev

Hi, Question:I am Using my rudders again... Very dificult as not only the single engine, but the jets have a huge left yaw tendency that disappears as I unable the rudder. This is with default sensitivity settings.In the ground is almost imposible to taxi, the left yaw is also present and trying to correct results in my airplane turning in S while taxing and during take off roll out.If I decrease the sensitivity or increase the null zones in the rudder, the BRAKE messages appears all the time.With the realair SF260 I can see that the airplane has its front wheel slightly turned to the left, if I use the numpad 5 without the numpad function, the tire goes back to the cent…

Hello,I just did a complete re-install of FS9. Now the default plane/flight is the Cessna 172 and the engines are always running, and Weather is fair.For some reason, if I set the flight up as I want it (engines off, real weather on, etc.) and save this as my default flight, when I restart FS9, it's back to the same old engines running fair weather flight! I've never had this problem in the past.Any ideas?Thanks!Jeff

Hey all. I have a few freeware 2D panel versions of the BAE-146 and i also have the Eurowings Professional version, which also just has a 2D panel.Any ideas on where I can manage to find a BAE-146 with a good VC? Either Payware or Freeware? Needs to be FS9 Compatable.Thanks all.

Lately when i go into slew mode my plane does lightning speed 360's and nothin i can do to stop it. it seems it started when i installed my ch yoke and pedals but not sure. any ideas?

I just got Dave's great new Stearman. An old silver Stearman was my first ride so it occupies a very special place in my heart. This one is very well-done. Beautiful visuals, instruments, etc. The flight model is pretty well as I remember it.If you want a fun-to-fly plane that will give you some pretty accurate tail-dragger experience you will want to try this one.Only one little issue with it so far. There is a definite looping sound in the engine sound file. Hi Folks,One of my favorite FS9 areas for vfr flying is Switzerland, due to the fantastic work done by the Suisse 2004 team. Each airport is a work of art and they also provide numerious enhancements to lakes(boats, docks etc) and other areas.I noticed that there are files recently uploaded to Avsim for Suisse 2004. Does anyone know if these are a new version of Suisse 2004. Also, any idea of the changes if they are new.In any case if they are an upgraded version I'll be sure to download them.Thanks again to the Suisse 2004 Team for their excellant work.Also, thank you Avsim for providing us with this great site...........

HI ALL, I just saw that the fellas over at Dreamfleet will be releasing thier 727 soon. Man, It looks like a fantastic package! My question to you guys.....I already own the awesome Captain Sim 727 and am very happy with it...Do any of you CS owners plan on grabbing the Dreamfleet version when she comes out? Just wanted to say a hearty thank you for your really incredibly beautifully done Stearman Kaydet package. It's a real beauty. It flies so nicely and convincingly, the liveries and cockpit are so nicely rendered and the bundled airfield is a real pleasure to fly out of. hello, tommorow i will be doing a flight to, KORD-KLGA, in the DF727, and today, while i was doing my pre flight stuff, i realised, i have no idea how much fuel to put on the plane. so i was wondering if anyone here knew? i believe the trip is about 630NM, FL330, ZFW 131650 LB. i would really really really X a million, appreciate it.adam

can you shut this down in windows, and will it make Fs9 smoother when I do ctrl, alt, delete the only thing I see using cpu is FS9 and idle process, I don,t run my computer with the Internet. the reason I ask, is I have a 3.2 p4 9800 PRO 256mb, 1500mb of ram and setting on medium I still get stutters

When I taxi (any plane) I experience what seems like hitting a bump on the ramp or taxiway. When this happens the airplane dips and pulls to the left. I don't know if this is supposed to be some kind of built in realism but to me it is just annoying. I don't mind the bump so much but hate the pulling to the left when it happens. Anybody experience this and is there a cure for it? Thanks.Jim

I loaded up FS9 and no sound, so I thought when I ended some processes might of killed my sound my mistake. Re-booted computer, load FS9, still no sound. Check sound card and make sure its seated proper, again no sound. Thought the card might have gone bad, almost went out and bought new card, until I noticed my speakers became un-plugged!!!!!!!Doh!!!!!!!!!

Every single aircraft I taxi onto '34R' at the default airport (KSEA) seems to drop into an invisible ditch! Its located just as the nose wheel comes onto the runway and out of the taxiway!Am I the only one with this problem or is it there to test the shocks?All the best,Dave.'Three greens and soft landings'

I've tweaked the fuel flow scalar of most of my 747-400s so that they closely reflect Boeing book values at StAt. But I find that if I remain at a set FL for several hours, the rate at which fuel is burned does not decrease as fast as the Boeing data indicate, i.e., I am burning too much fuel than I should be.Do I need to change the fuel flow "gain" factor to fix this? If so, which way does it go? It seems to be set for many jets at 0.002 although some folks have set theirs to 0.001. These are very tiny values and I am wondering in which direction to adjust the gain to reduce the rate at which fuel is consumed.Appreciate any advice on this, thanks!JS
