Does anyone know what file I have to delete to get rid of the static planes in Shayne Butler's Brisbane scenery? It's a FS2002 scenery but it works good in FS2004. I deleted the static planes once but had to delete and re-download the scenery and forgot what file it was I had to delete to get rid of the static planes.

Hello all.I have FS9 installed on my C: drive. I would like to re-install it on my D: instead for various reasons.Since I have several payware aircraft, along with PAI, add on sceneries, etc... would it be possible to do the following? :1) Save my config file, then install FS9 onto the D:2) Copy all of my C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS9.. *.* directly onto the D: installation, thus updating FS9 and all of my other stuff.3) Un install the C: installation or just delete it.Is this possible? This forum and its community are truly amazing; posts by the many members here have exponentially increased the value of my flightsim experience. Hi!I have just installed Flight Environment (at least I appear to have) and it is a significant improvement.However, I was annoyed when it told me I had to reboot to complete the installation, because that should only be necessary to replace drivers and other operating system components that are locked by the operating system while it is running. I could not imagine Flight Environment doing either of these and neither did I want it to.In any event, I did reboot, but it was not able to continue the installation when it restarted because Windows Data Execution Protection killed it. It is bad practise to execute code from a data segment.I don't know what was supposed to happ…

Hello, I just purchased Flight Enviroment.. Can someone brief me on how I need to run this gem of a program?Do I even need to load it at all before FS9? And If so I want to set it to the highest quality settings I can get it to run with ActiveSky.I am not concerned with performance. It is being ran on a high end system.Any Advice would be appreciated. P.S. I am not sure if after the install, it takes care of everything after that or If I need to set it on random then load FS.. I am full of questions...I am itching to get another upgrade for the ole fs9 here...Was wondering if there is anyone out there running Active Sky and the Flight One Software Flight Environment.If you are good someone shoot me an opinion and how they feel about the product with the 2 together. is there a addon scenery that loads faster than FS9, right now I been flying dessert locations they seem a little smoother I think what I'm trying to say is how do you stop the loading that you or at lease me, see's at a distance like when I'm landing I can see buildings pop up as I'm moving

Hello Fellow PilotsI am just chatting away here...But I am looking for ideas from those that have walked the paths or know of others who have told the stories they have walked...I currently have fs9, ActiveSky2004.5, AlertPro, Ultimate Traffic2004, American Data Roads Rails Streams, and Some FS Genesis Mesh...As far as what I need to upgrade to next kinda at a loss... I want to get her as real as I can... Been thinking about Radar Contact it is just beta for fs2004 at this time I think, and I have got my eyes on FS Passengers.Would anyone have any Ideas or suggestions for me? Thanks

My boys love watching me sim in my Spongebob 747-400 (I must say, it's a great looking a/c!). I once had an ANA Pokemon 747-400 as well, but no longer. Recently I found that ANA has painted a number of their 747s in real life and from nose to tail with incredible characters such as Skitty, Munchlax, Slowpoke, etc. and I was wondering, has anybody seen such a/c done for FS9?JS

Hi all,some time ago there was a thread here about Captain Sims new website, but it disappeared. What happened to it?One of the issues was about the forum. Someone from Captain Sim PR said that if they get enough requests they might reopen the forum. I feel that everything I add to their support system, and every mail I send to them, disappears into a black hole. So I suggested to tell our opinion here in this forum. Does anyone know in which file I could find the default AFCAD for FS2004. I would like to delete the default one for CYYZ to see if the AFCAD2 for CYYZ by SimFlyer would show up in FSNav map.I did run the FSNavDBC program, but FSNav still show the default map.This is the same for all airport addons.

Hi all, I have been running FS2004 since it came out. I fly allot. I have noticed my computer performance in FS seems to be maybe not slower but kind of stuttering. My system is a Dell P4-3.06 with 1gig of ram, Radeon 9600 256meg video card, SBlive sound & 80gig SATA HD. I am running WinXP Home SP1. Most of my setting are middle of the road running 1024 X 768 resolution. I get 30FPS but I have noticed these stutters. Not always turning. Just flying straight ahead there will be this little pause. I have 3 spyware programs telling me everything is fine. I have very few services running. I have checked for viruses with 2 different virus programs. Where do…

I've searched high and low in the forums for this question, but haven't been able to find it. I believe there is a way to "hide" AI aircraft from the saircaft election list, but have not been able to find the information I am looking for.How do you set up AI aircraft, so that they don't show up in lists used to select aircaft to fly?Thanks,Thomas

Has anyone tried it; their briefing manual states it's the closest they have come to a 737-JAA/FAA approved simulator for a PC. Be interesting to hear what purchases/NG captains think.

There are a number of airport add-ons, marked as being OK for FS2004 even if they appear under FS2002, I would be interested in installing, but they are marked with the warning "Airport 2.xx, ASD, VOD, Nova, and Nova Gold Textures must be installed". I managed to find some of these at: http://www.simviation.com/fs2002utilities_ess1.htmbut the VOD textures, for instance, are marked as being for FS98 or earlier! Could someone kindly help me here - what are the latest versions of the above files, where do I find them (above URL best I've found so far) - and are they really all needed for FS9?
