Hello, Would anyone know if this is possible. I have been having a few errors occur every now and then and these things just started out of the blue occasionally. I have quite a bit of add-on software for this game. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to re-install just the flight sim files kinda like a sfc /scannow type of deal to where it would just install like the essential flight sim files.. (kinda crazy question.) But this error has been shutting my flight sim down after a couple hours in flight while on a leg and it is disipointing the tar out of me... Thanks,

I'm a big fan of Ruud Faber's Fscene texture upgrades. I currently have all seasons for USA, Canada, Europe, and spring/summer for Africa. I do not have any Fscene textures for South America.QUESTION: I'm currently flying in Colombia, South America, heading south, and since I'm so near the equator, I'm wondering if it makes any sense to invest in the spring textures now? or should I go ahead and get the summer textures instead? And if I do get the summer textures now, will I have to switch the FS2004 season to summer in order to see them?I apologize if this issue has been addressed before, but I can't find any forum related to Fscene, nor have I seen contact info for Ruud…

All:I wanted to purchase scenery for Rio De Janero for FS2004 and saw that worldsceneries.com had their Wonderful Rio package available for download. Well, after I paid all I got was a receipt and found that all the scenery download links were dead. (should have tried to download the demo FIRST huh?).I never got a download link, or registration code and this was supposed to be an immediate download, not a "we'll get back you within 24 hours" download.So sure it is only $20.00US, but I wanted to let the community know to beware of this site.Regards,Mike T.PS. Hi Folks,I e-mailed Daniel Gauthier of the Suisse 2004 team concerning the files which were recently uploaded to Avsim. He told me these are the original Suisse 2004 files compiled into an exe file. So if you have already downloaded ALL of the individual files for Suisse 2004, the latest upload won't have anything new. But, I'd suggest that you check the description (in Avsim library)of which airports the files include to be sure you've previously downloaded all of them.For those who are new to Suisse 2004, you are in luck! Now you have them all in 3 files instead of having to download many individual files.I highly recommend Suisse 2004 to any who haven't tried it…

I have the second generation VMAX RFPB. I can't find a Delta Airlines repaint anywhere. There is one download for Delta at the Panelshop.com website, but I can't get that to work. It shows up with an all black screen.Anybody here have RFBP and know where I can get a Delta livery?ThanksJeff Scharpf

Hi all, I have noticed that for the last few days, the weather downloaded for the areas where I normally fly (KMIA, KFLL, MYGF,etc) have remained the same(surface winds, clouds, etc). I normally clear the temporary internet files before starting a new FS9 session, so I don't thing there should be any old weather files that should be causing this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.J.C. (MYNN)

Hi:I really "dig" the new Vistaliners 727-200, however my strobes do not flash like strobes on all other aircraft......By strobes, I mean the little white flashing light on the tip of the wings on both sidesCall me wierd, but thats a BIG thing for me ...... What is this "Panel as Texture=1" entry in the FS9 Config. that I've read about on this forum?I can't find this entry anywhere. Am I supposed to add it, and where?Does it make a difference with Stutters in the sim?I'm on a quest to eliminate ANY Stutters whatsoever. Is this a magic bullet?

For some reason after installing the patch I can no longer find the fs9.cfg. I have no application data folder and the file does not show up on the windows search. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi all: I seem to remember reading somewhere in here about a stand alone flight plan program that was freeware. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I'm looking for a system outside of FS9 where I can plan and load my flights into the sim. Thanks in advance for your help.John

I always fly out of the same airport now, (Misty's Place in the Misty Fjords area) and know the exact frame rates I shoul be getting at different locations on the airport. I have noticed that when I first run FS9 using FS Start, to shut everything down, I get a lower frame rate than the previous flight, at the same locations, with same weather. I would say it is lower by about 30-40%. If I reboot the PC, then run FS Start, and then FS9 I get the higher, more normal frame rate. So if I fly this evening, start FS9 tomorrow morning, the frame rates will probably be lower without rebooting. Anyone have an explanation for this ?
