I just downloaded & installed the freeware NAV3.1 after reading a positive recommendation here on the forums. Slight glitch setting it up initially - 3.1 won't scan my fs2002 scenery (.bgl's), but 3.0 did it without any problem. Now that the initial database is set up, 3.1 seems to work just fine. Except...When I set up a flight plan, I want to choose an aircraft and cruising altitude. Only 28 of my planes are listed, but I have over 100 installed & working fine in fs2002 (lots of freeware). I don't see any mention of the aircraft list in the documentation, no relevant preferences settings, nor any .ini file in the NAV3.1 install directory that I could tweak. Ther…

How many sites are out there that offer Live ATC? I think it would be great if somehow a site would be able to transmit all Centers in the US. I think Atlanta Center is available. Reason being is I tune in to Chicago Approach during my flights to have some chatter. I thought it would be cool that I could contact centers and listen to the ATC along my route. Is this possible? Hi All, Just a heads up post here, last night I went to the I3D website to replace my SR-71 due to a re-install and ran into some problems. On the main page it says that all downloads have been stopped due to a virus problem but when I went to the download page everything seemed to be working ok and I downloaded several files but when I started one of them I got a warning of a trojan from my AV program. I know that they are looking into the problem and will fix it but I wanted everyone here to know that they should excercise caution for the time being if they go to the I3D website. Last night I bought FS Live Traffic. I am having a few slight problems that I was wondering if you all could help out with. 1) I am curious about AFCADS. I had Ultimate Traffic and am pretty sure I uninstalled it from my PC. Yet I think FSLT is using those same AFCADS. For instance, using Simflyers ORD AFCAD in the past, things seemed fine. Now with FSLT, there are planes parked in between taxiways, in buildings, ect. KORD is the airport that I know the best so I can tell when things are not correct. My real question is, what AFCAD will FSLT use? Do I need to delete all of my old AFCAD's and re-install?2) When using the different features inside the sim (tool box…

That exhaust gas rapidly comes to an equilibrium with the surrounding air. That equilibrium, a complicated balance of temperature, vapor pressure, and concentration of water, determines not only if the water present in the exhaust will condense, but how long the condensate will persist. can anyone help? whenever i click on the user customize weather, FS9 stops for seconds before a notice of Weather.DLL error comes up. does anyone know how to fix this?thanks in advance

Does anyone know for sure or have a place on the web to where I can read if turboprops do actually leave contrails in the air?I have been wondering about that an am not sure of myself. Usually seems to be a jet. But never really stopped to think that at the altitude it is at it could very well be a turboprop. Thanks,

Has anyone got a link to a nice KLM paint for the LDS763? I downloaded the one avalible from LDS and it is nice in the sim, but terrible in SS. Saw one here on avsim but the textures seem a bit blury. Correct me if im wrong on that. But have i missed some more paints in KLM for the LDS?Help appreciated.. :)

Hey guys, recently i did a flight on a 777 and the ft plan called for me to climb and maintain FL 390 as i got past about FL 320 i began to see a slow but constant decrease in my Air Speed. I was holding full throtles and by the time i got to FL 390 i was down to 180 KIAS, but 300 - 400 Ground Speed. There was apoint i was loosing speed yet my ground speed was constant.Why ? and way to avoid that ?Latertj

I just tried to fly my Project Fokker F100. I used to get the First Officer callouts, a long time ago, for 80 kts, V1, rotate, etc. like we get in the Level-D 767. They don't work. I have the V2 Sound folder in the Aircraft Folder and the correct sounds in a sub folder in the main sound folder. What am I not doing, or what am I doing wrong? Thanks, regards, Bob.

Not that I am building a new machine or anything, but the one thing that always bums me out is installing the software back on the new machine. So as I am driving into work today I hear this ad from laplink that peeked my interest. Would this PC mover software by Laplink transfer all Flightsim stuff including add-ons?? Just wondering if anyone has used it or any thoughts of it in the future that it would make sense to use this type of program. I'm confused by the endless versions of Suisse 2004. Can anyone tell me just which files I need to download to get Daniel Gauthier's most recent and updated Geneva airport for FS2004?I only want Geneva, not the whole country.Lee

Wanting to expand my horizons and increase the realism of FS2004... to that end, I'm planning to use the ProjectAI uninstall kits to get rid of the default commercial and GA traffic. I was planning to replace the commerical traffic with PAI commercial, cargo, and military traffic files, but AFAIK, there are really no PAI GA files...How about using the program called "GA Traffic"? Or... will this interfere with the PAI commercial files? Does anyone run this combo, and if so, how does it work?Any other suggestions?

HiI've toned down the beacons and lights in my FS world by using one of the freeware halos (can't remember which)The result is great for me everywhere, except for simflyers world airports. With mine the beacons on vehicles and at the ends of ramps shine like gigantic lollipops!I've had a look through the scenery folders for the world airports but can't see anything exactly relating to beacons.Anybody any ideas where the beacons bmp might be for world airports, or do they use a different method create them?
