Does anybody know why ScanAFD takes more than an hour to scan, and still its going on. Should I just leave it, or has it crashed.Jason

I've recently downloaded two aircraf, a Dash 8 by Bob May d8jaz24 and a Saab. On each only the large vor works. Is there any way i can get both active? Thanks

Hi all...after recently picking up a couple of excellent payware purchases (the Dreamfleet Bonanza A36 and the Level D 767-300) I'm looking at the Lago Maddog 2004 package. I'm an MD-8x fan, and the VA I fly for (Delta Virtual) uses the MD-88 a lot, so this caught my eye once I heard it was out. Hello vPilots,Since a few days, I am using the FSPainter A32X Models for AI Traffic, but I noticed, that the approach speed is very high and on landing they are always using the whole runway. Is that a know 'problem', or am I using an old airfile / flight dynamics?Thanks you,Bj

Hello, Me again... Well I am really starting to dig the ATR 72-500 quite the plane and much left to learn... I can't believe this thing has operational wipers..Once I noticed this I had something pop into mind... Does anyone know if their are planes out there when icing is prevalant do the windows actually start to ice over and also prevent what visibility I guess you can have at looking at clouds (grin)..I noticed the atr 72-500 has window heaters does she do that?And if their are planes like that with that kind of detail where they at? I know about the real stars add-on but remember another program that ran and grabbed the current date and updated the sky to reflect it. Can somebody point me in the direction of this program? I thought I looked everywhere... thanks!

Hey all :-wave Talk about frustrating. Every flight I have flown lately, ATC has told me to taxi to the downwind runway for takeoff. Who in there right mind in a 010 at 10 would take off on 18R? So, has anyone else expierianced this, and is there a fix. It's quite a pooper. So far I have refreshed the weather, then reloaded the flight. No Go. Now I have ditched the real weather, gone to KTPA, set my own weather for a 360 at 10. Still no go. I am not sure what else to do. So far my only fix is to just ignore ATC and taxi at my discretion. I would be very appreciative to anyone who could shed some light on this subject.

I'm an fs2002 flyer, not clueless but no expert either. Filed an IFR flight plan from Page AZ to Albuquerque NM and took off for a climb to 21000 in my Baron 58. Normal instructions along the way. I'm on an instructed descent as I approach KABQ when it begins snowing. This was a surprise to me since date setting was mid-summer, but maybe it's picking up weather associated with the flightplan I created a week or so ago.I'm asked if the airport is in sight, which it isn't, so I peek at my GPS to see which direction I should be looking. Oh yeah, a former air traffic controller too.Life has been real busy the last year or so. In that time, I lost the use of my left eye due to optic neuritis, caused by multiple sclerosis.Don't feel bad for me...I still am gainfully employed in a job I love, I still have 4 wonderful children and two grandchildren that I love with all my being, the same women still shares my bed after 17+ years...but I can no longer fly.The point of my post is this. Hi, folks, I had and used AFCAD before but I must have deleted it or something, anyway I reinstalled it (current version) and now it hangsup on collecting airports with only 2 bars showing on the progress scale. No matter how long I wait nothing more happens. Anyone have a clue? JamesJ

Is there any way to "kinda-sorta" simulate flying IFR in a non-radar environment, in FS. FS treats the whole world as if it were covered by radar but, in fact, most of the world isn't. Thanks.Bob

HI..I decided to install the free upgrade from Perfect Flight for the TRACKER 3.0 but have found the sound I now get is the default DC-3 instead of the powerful twin engine sound the Tracker puts out. The sound folder in the Tracker has its own set of sound files and sound CFG.which are different from the DC-3..I removed the sound folder from the DC-3 from my hard drive on to portable hard drive and I still get the DC-3 sound on the Tracker.. Cant seem to get a response from Perfect Flight but any ideas would be appreciated.Thanks..TH

I usually print out bits and pieces, including approach plates, etc, as I need them. I have never had to print out an entire airplane package. Well, those days are over: I got the DF B727 last weekend.So, after realizing that I was going to have to give the printer a workout, I did some analysis. I am eagerly eagerly awaiting the release of the tristar and the hercules....Anybody heard any insider info on how these two projects are coming along?The tristar is from Pilots and the Herk from Captain Sim.
