For no reason, the image of my FS2004 minimized. Very annoying when you are in the final approach!I solved the problem with Spy Sweeper. Spywares were the source of my problems. Now, FS2004 is performing well.

Hi!I find I must disagree with the prevailing negative option of the Flight 1 PC-12. Certainly, people are entitled to express negative opinions if a cherished piece of equipment is missing or if some detail in the virtual cockpit is missing, but that does not mean the product is bad.I have been flying the free AFG PC-12, which is generally regarded as being pretty good and, in my opinion, the Flight 1 one is notably better in most respects.The panels are incredibly sharp and easy to read (especially by contrast to the award-winning Eaglesoft Citation X). I want to take advantage of PSS's sale and get an Airbus and learn about them. However, I don't know which of the three offerings would be the best one to get, i.e., the A319, 320 and 321 series, the A330, or the A340. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks. Robert

I have lost most/all of my FS9 keyboard command capabilities. Commands like the W, S, ~, P, Shft-Z, ESC, etc no longer function. I can still have all of my joystick capabilities, so it appears that my problem only effects the keyboard.The problem is limited to only FS9 and it appears that the problem effects all of my aircraft. What steps do I need to take to restore the FS9 keyboard commands?ThanksTom

Hi there,In Fs2002, when hovering just above the water, a water spray effect appears due to rotor down wash.However, in (my) FS9 this effect does not appear at all.Anybody know where this effect is generated or should be generated in FS9 ? Just using the PC12 I notice the performance is not really up to spec. I do not fly the 12 in real life but have 5000 hrs on other planes. I presently am cruising at FL260 and am only able to obtain 225 kts TAS. I know that the 12 can do faster than that. bug?

Hope this is the right place to post this question.I need to free up some disk space and am considering the "compressed drive" option in XP. Any thoughts from anyone regarding this idea - will I see a noticeable degradation of FS2004 running in this envoirnment? I sure don't want to slow down loading and/or flying by compressing the files on the drive. Feedback appreciated.

I have been flying the new PMDG 1900C a lot this last week, and I am spending much more time in it than I had expected. It flys great, has a great VC, looks great, and is easy to get up and flying.Since I have been enjoying it so much, I have been wondering if I should pick up the 1900D as well? I understand there are some improvements in PMDG's 1900C. I understand the guage refresh rate in the 1900D is slower, but if I am thinking about the Reality-XP guages, does it matter?Tony

I can't land anywhere.... and neither can I start from any airport.I did not install or remove any software or addons. It was working fine for the most part and suddenly.. I can land anywhere.The moment I land at any airport... Flight sim crashes. actually..the whole lfight sim disappears from memory. I just loaded Chris Wright autostar pgm.I see no changes in the sky. I followed the procedure and checked the circles and labels. NOTHING.The star.dat file is modified accordingly to the number of stars (using real stars or not). So the path looks correct. The star_base.dat is also in the FS9 library.I reviewed the FS configurator, the FSUIPC and Active Sky to see if any options was out of line. Nothing.The autostar folder is in Program Files. The path to FS9 is correctly stipulated in the autostar pgm (c:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9). The proof is that star.dat file is modified when executing autostar. I am going to be flying LH from ohare to frankfurt this summer then to warsaw, and i was wondering. how is LH and visiting the cockpit? i have been into a JAL 744 cockpit when it was on the ground becuase my dad works for Flying Foods and at the time he only serviced JAL. but other than that, never. and how do you go about it? just ask the F/A or what? and is possible to get into it in flight? thanksadam

Ken,I found out accidentally that if I start FS autostart it will tell me that something like 760 K are free after reorg. If I shut down FS9 and restart as soon FS autostart it will now tell me that 816 k are free. If again I shut down FS9 and start FS autostart again I will get another figure close to the 816 K.So should I systematically start FS autostart twice or is it the control figures that are not accurate ?Roger

Hello,I have recently messed up my defualt King Air 350. I am in need of a (freeware) cfg file that can be added to the origonal cfg file. About a year ago I found a cfg file along with an Air file that transformed the defualt 350 into a rather enjoyable model to fly. No repaints or any think else was there. Just the cfg and air file to copy/paste and fire up the sim and go.If other add on include a repaint than that fine also. I appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you,Mark.

My heading indicator keeps giving me inaccurate readings towards the end of flights. In the realism menu, I have gyro drift un-checked, and the gyro drift slider full left, but my heading indicator is still 10-30 degrees off by the end of the flight? I press the D key, and it corrects itself, but I thought that with the gyro drift option off I would not get this? I've had this option off in every version of fs, so I don't think to check it. My only indication is when the ATC starts giving me erratic vectors (worse than usual), since I am not actually flying the correct heading. Is there anything in FSUIPC, or anywhere else I may have changed? (I have the registered …

I have compiled a list of selected airports that show the various runways with applicable Navaid frequencies. At an FAA website I get all of the real world data and compare it with those included in FS2002.Has anyone noticed or even cared that Cleveland-Hopkins Int'l Airport (KCLE) has all wrong runway numbers in FS2002 compared with with FAA data? All others on my list appear to match up perfectly.Anyone know where to get runway frequencies for the airport runways as they appear in FS2002?I have compiled this list so that I can practise ILS/DME approaches at various locations.
