HiI have installed the HSP LGAV Version 1 of Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Greece by the Hellas Scenery Team. In the read me file it states:"ILS are not visible in FSNavigator. this is a problem of AFCAD by Lee Swordy and the way FSNavigator reads its BGL files. We cannot do anything for this at present."Does anyone know if a solution has been found.It's a pity because the scenery is so good but if you can't see the ILS marks, then it's dificult to use the Autopilot for landing.Stelios

I have to admit - as a person with time in the type, I'm extremely jazzed about seeing how Eaglesoft does with this. From what little is available, it does look promising. Seems like I've been getting some downloads on my file and was just looking for any input on what those user might think. As far as ease of understanding, installing, and the end results. The file is 9k_dv_is_ai_new_england_pkg.zip and I spent alot of time figuring out how to make the ai flight plans match the real airlines schedule. The end results is very nice and I was just looking for feedback if I made the package so others can use it and easy enough to put into there sim.Kilstorm

I know that this topic has been discussed so much here. But I have a question.Some of my addon airports are fine, some are shimmering. But it's not that much. Recently I purchased FlyTampa San Fransisco (which is great btw), shimmering is just terrible there.. when I'm landing the airport looks terrible:( I tried everythig; AA, AF, mipmap, other settings.. still the same thing. I have some trouble with the flights i save within flightsim.nomatter how hard i hard i try to save a flight and check that the flight i save will be the default startup flight it just continues to startup an old saved flight with the default cessna in Houston.So i deleted that saved flight and now it starts up with the original startup (cessna 172 at KSEA) and it says:saved flight either corrupt or deleted Flightsim will now try to load the default flight.and this happens even when i all the flights i save i check the "use as default startup" any solution to my problem?and i dont know if its my internet or firewall, but i just cant get into Oleksiy Frolovs Fanda site, no…

I am desperately looking for a mesh to replace the stock mountains of BC , Northern BC. I found some good stuff for parts of southern, but not northern. What do you guys recommend for both BC and AK ?

Well I might be describing myself but this is irritating. Just recently I have started getting jerky pictures. I'm not aware of changing any settings but in desperation restored a disk image taken a month ago when there wasn't a problem; and the stuttering reappeared. Obviously it occurs when using the hat in spot mode but also in cockpit mode. Usually the stutter is accompanied by disk activity as if the program is waiting for more scenery.Frame rates can be in the 50's when this happens. It also occurs with display settings at minimum using default scenery.I am experienced with computers but less so with the intricacies of FS settings. It almost sounds like a hardware p…

I have always been facinated with the A340 because of its resemblance to the 707 & DC-8, especially the 200 and 300 versions of the A340. However, I have never really been impressed with the look Airbus cockpit because of its lack of dials and switches - especially being that I am a big fan of the RFP 747-200But, I have to admit that the following picture brings out the best in what Airbus has to offer -- Awesome! -- and has motivated me to reconsider the A340 to my list of potential FS2004 long haulers. All of a sudden I'm getting trees and buildings being placed in the middle of runways and taxiways. It doesn't occur at every airport but it happens at enough of them that I'm sure it's not an isolated incident. It occurs at all autogen settings except 'none' and it seems to affect both add-on and default sceneries. I've reviewed most of the files I've installed over the past few days and can't seem to find any that would account for this. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Does the Flight Environment program get rid of the horrible ocean textures in the distance when flying at high altitudes? If not, what does? It really looks bad and I use downloaded weather so changing the visibility distance doesn't seem to be an option. Thanks

Anyone wanna take a guess at what you think the cost of this bird will be?I feel like it will be 39-50. I hope not, i think 25-30 would be best. :)I understand developers work very hard, and deserve alot of money for their products, but when we start throwing 39.95 prices at crazy people with a visa, we will buy anything! :-lol I respect them all, but i would like to see payware around 25-35. Just a few pictures of Flight Environment by Flight 1 had it a few days and I am amazed at the difference over the default environment, I think i have spent my money well.

I've been trying to no avail to fly a route from KATL to KMSY. It seems ATC doesn't want to direct me to the route. I made up the flight plan in FS's default flight planner. Using PMDG's 737NG I punched in the same plan into the FMC. Once I takeoff ATC will direct me to say 210 degrees and that's it. ATC never directs me to the proper heading to intercept the route. Hi, After a long reinstall I now get the following when trying to start using FSAUTOSTART: "THE REQUESTED FLIGHT IS CORRUPTOR CAN'T BE FOUND"(line of mixed caratures) Only option offered is "ABORT"The program can be started outside autostart. I have deleted and reinstalled "fsautostart" and deleted everything in the documents file under "flight simulator"Did work in the past.Thanks.TONY

I was wondering how do you make the AI aircraft display the route it is flying. I noticed this on the preview of the Boston Logan freeware scenery. It shows a US 737 taking off and in red it displays the route and if it is IFR or VFR. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hello everybody, I encountered a strange bug lately, and I hope this is known and hopefully a solution to it, too. When I use the "real weather" option, and the weather is clear, the real weather from Jeppesen suddenly gives me a "1/16th of a mile" range of sight. It seems that if the visibility range should be very high, the weather switches to the 1/16th mile soup. This happens very suddenly when the weather information is reloaded. I have the sneaking suspicion that this is not working as designed ... I'm using the German version of FS9 btw.Does anybody know anything about this and how to switch it off while still using real weather?Thanks.

I've been using Flight 1's Flight Enviroment for a few weeks now and over all I like it very much. But overcast conditions and rain just kill, and I mean kill my frame rates. My question is what cloud settings work best for those overcast conditons?? I have played around with a few but can't seem to come up with a descent solution. When I am on top the frame rates are fine, it's just on the ground and raining.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded Eddie Denney's Alaska mesh; but am not sure as to how to use it. Is it worth installing after hearing about the disadvantages?And since there are 16 files to this mesh; How can I find out where the changes take place? Thanks for any help..Yar
