FS 9 keeps crashing with "DdHelp" error. When I start FS9 my system resorces are at 88%, After I start FS9, resources drop down to only 30%. After I load FS Meteo, Flight Deck Companion,and FS Nav resourses are down to 0% and FS9 crashes with the DdHelp error. Even when I turn off everything in the background except explorer and systray and only load FS9, FS Meteo, Flighdeck Companion,and FS Nav, resourses are at 0%Runnning Win98SE, 512meg of ram, FX5200 video card(128meg). I have installed the lastest video drivers, still the same results. The problem as gotten worse in the last week.Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi all.I've had this problem for quite a while now and I'd really appreciate some explanation. This problem doesnt happen in any of the stock planes, just some downloads, and especially with planes with a certain panel.Im a fairly advanced pilot, so im able to master all parts of flight and start a succesful approach. The problem comes when im intercepting the glidepath.Everything fine at 2 notches of flap, but when i extend the flaps further, the aircraft becomes incapable of maintaining the correct rate of descent, and raises hideously above the glidepath; from that point on the aircraft cant get back on the glidepath and ill end up about 500 foot above the correct alti…

I am posting this note as I've seen a lot of posts in the past year in many locations about the correct pitch angle for a 747-400. I've seen several folks say 5 degrees is normal and several even comment that 8 degrees is normal.From flying in The Queen for 30 years on many flights around the world, including a fair number of cockpit visits, and based on extensive sim study, I believe that the correct cruise pitch angle is around 2 to 2.5 degrees, exceptionally 3 degrees, and on approach to landing between 1 degree and 2.5 degrees.It's not physically possible to serve meals on the Queen if the pitch is 5 degrees or more. I love the Cessna 310 from Dreamfleet, and I've tried to log on to their forum...but I can't for some reason. My user name and password, for whatever reason, are not being accepted. I've gotten fed up with trying.My problem: The view seems "crabbed" when taking off and when landing. It seems as though I'm not looking out the windshield head on, and the rudder has to be employed way too much.Please direct me to a fix for this... if you've ever heard of it. Help. I have over 1100 airplane loaded in FS9. is there a progarm out there that allows you de-active airplanes you are not using at the time so FS9 won't that 10 min. to load? Thanks in advance for any help givin.

Anyone knows how to configure fs9 to automatic go back to normal mode, flying in multiply mode, when you recieve an ATC message???I konw that it is unrealistic flying in multiply mode, but sometimes I want to fly a long haul flight, but do not have the time.RegardsBW

Just a bit of help if you please guys.Am I correct with the order of installation of the following.1) Flight Environment, make selection and "Fly now"2) Select "Clear Skies (clears all weather) in the FS9 set up window3) Minimize FS9 and Load up Active Sky or default weather.I have read the FE manual, but it does not give the order of precedence of the various items to install prior to flying.Thanks

We did not synchronize the timing of the ad and the release as we should have. We have already had some inquiries on this, so let me explain what is going on.The ad is referring to the economy package for the T38/C17, which will be released at $12.00, but the ad made it up before the release. This is an open letter to all add-on aircraft developers that I think belongs in this forum instead of hardware because it's point has to do with FS9 functionality. But here's my suggestion.It is well known that there are compatibilty issues between GoFlight hardware and add-on aircraft that has to do with the various ways GoFlight and a large number of developers approach things.That said, if the developers produce a great add-on that they do no make GoFlight compatible then:They will sell airplanes to x% of FS users and somewhat LESS than that % to GoFlight users who don't like mouse clicking and will avoid the add-on.To the contrary, if the add-on IS made GoFlight comp…

Hi Guys,I am hoping someone out there can help me a bit. I am trying to specify a parking place for my Reeve Aleutian Electra at Anchorage and have used the AFCAD program to specify parking type, Airline use etc. When I go into flightsim, my electra is not sitting at my desired spot but is sitting somewhere on the airport in another Parking desigation such as a Heavy Jet parking area.Am I missing something or are there more specific paramters( such as aircraft type )that I can use in the AFCAD program to get the desired results?All help and responses appreciatedFly safeDave in Alaska

Three days ago I bought the new Ariane Boeing 737-700 Ng VCe with the 2Di Panel system to install on my non-internet connected Flightsim-PC. I read the 737-700 "Base Pack Install Advice.pdf" and thought that there would be no problems. When the Ariane activation - window appeared, I pressed "A", then inserted name and second name, pressed "next" to continue, then entered Receipt ID (Order ID) and Transaction Code, pressed "NEXT", chose "Offline (through Email) Activation", pressed "Save Activation Mail Into File" and was suddenly confronted with a new window which suggested to save a "key" - file (though they call it a "log-file" in the manual). G'day all. I have this very annoying probelm when in VC of certain aircraft. The texture around the HUD randomly disappears. When it does disappear, if I put it into slew mode (pressing 'y'), the texture re appears, but then disappears when I go back out of slew mode. These pics show what I mean. Ant help greatly appreciated..

In the aircraft.cfg, is the static_thrust, per engine or a combined total of the number of engines on the aircraft?eg: static_thrust=4000 (per engine)or static_thrust=4000 (2000 per engine on a 2 engined jet) static_thrust=4000 (1000 per engine on a 4 engined jet)

Hi D. Puljevic, if you read this.I have spotted a error in the 0_Dubrovnikexclude1.bgl .. That one should remove the buildings etc from the default airport. BUT it removes all the airports in Gran Canaria, Senegal etc also !!.Really hope to see a fix for this :)...______I have looked in the readme, but there are no email that has been added to it.. Many attempts to add runway markings for KNOW (Port Angeles CGAS) have failed. Regardless of where I save the changes, FS9 reverts to the stock runway. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone have any idea when the Ultimate Terrain USA version will be coming out..Plan on getting Ultimate Terrain USA and Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska at the same time...Oh and is terrain mesh part of the Ultimate Terrain's? Does anybody know if there is a way I can combine my 4 install cds. And then burn them onto a dvd so I dont have to swap next time I install flight sim again.
