What happened to the update to the Real Air SIAI Marchetti 260. Last I heard it was 'days away' but that was weeks ago. Did I miss it?Cheers,Gareth Evans

It's happened again. Loving life, enjoying great frame rates when suddenly my frame rates have gone south. I've tried a few things to no avail. Any suggestions? It's the same for all aircraft.steveg

Hi,has anyone ever had an instance where each time they start up FS9 they have to re-set everything again and again,ie, all of a sudden I am faced with this.I have to re-set the display/sound/graphics/assignments etc all of the time,I have never had this before, and have not installed anything either,just wonderedthanks.PS if you have had this, what did you do to fix it,

Hi, I'm currently using the CH USB throttle and whenever I apply reverse thrust using the F2 key I can see the throttle jumping around because it is fighting the inputs from the USB throttle. Is there way to somehow solve the contention between the throttle and the keyboard so that I can apply full reverse thrust without it immediately jumping back to idle? Thank you.

Today's paper featured the specifications for the next generation X-box from Microsoft:512 Meg memory3x3 Gig Processors20 Gig Hard Drive Combine that with the questions in Microsoft's current User Survey, and the possibility of FS10 appearing on both X-box 360 and regular PCs, and with Multi-Processor support built in seems quite likely...Just Bert's prediction for now...

I want to get some ideas on how to improve both the flight planning and ATC. I find the FS9 flight planning to be OK, but would like to see if there is an add on product that makes an improvement in this area. Also, are there any products that improve the ATC?I would be willing to look at either freeware or payware products.Any suggestions?Thanks,jim

Could anyone who has it comment on what they think so far? Can you compare it to some other addons (knowing that this is more of a lite / express tyep of product)?

Hi AllHope I am in the correct Forum for this question.I have just purchased FE and I have read the PDF manual for this product, and I can not see anywhere that address the issue of whether everytime I initialize FS9 that I have to initialize the Randomizer before starting FS9.Thanking in advance for any assistance with this question.Kenny G.:)

hi all,a while ago i made a post here with the folowing problem. I had a terrible flickering (or shimmering, whatever you call it) when moving around with my plane. This was only when moving, not when the plane was still. I had then a Radeon 9800 Pro, and some said that this happened with this card. i tried different drivers, combined with different settings, but nothing helped. Never i saw even the slightest improvement.A few weeks ago i was sick of it and decided, again, to buy a new videocard. Hello, I just picked up FS2004 (after having FS2002, FS2000, and FS98) and am wondering which scenery add-on is the best bang for your buck. I've searched around the net, and there seems to be a great many scenery packs that overlap.My primary interest would be in a pack to upgrade the general layout of the land, as the default scenery seems awfully flat. Next to that, my interest would be area of the northeastern United States (primarily the NY/NJ/Philadelphia area).Any comments or suggestions welcome. [email protected]

Apparently there is no option to reinstall FS9 on top of prior installation. So I have to uninstall first. Now comes the question. Will I need to reinstall all aircraft/sceneries that I had installed?. Using FS9, I am looking for a good addon that gives the crew sounds and checklists, etc..I currently own RFPB 2nd gen, and it comes with S-Combo which I like.I also own a program called "Airliners ENV", which is ok but appears to need a few more sounds.. (maybe crew callouts, etc.).So I was looking at FlightDeck companion but I'm wondering if it's worth purchasing, or is there another product out there that gives the cabin sounds? The FDC website has a few broken links and I'm worried about future support.Thanks for any adviceJeff

Anyone else having this problem??If i use only stratus clouds,framerates are good.But the moment when there are some cumulus clouds,its a slideshow:(I've tried using those different hi-fps cloud sets lying around,but it still is a hog.I know use FE and still the cumulus are bothering my FPS.Help is much appreciated!!!!
