Hello everyone,This is a pure opinion post. Judging on screenshots, Aerosoft and these guys must be kidding. Requiring 20 euro for A320 & 30, whilst PSS sells for about 12 euro and with iFDG's (posky) model, PSS is pure bargain. Their model also doesn't look like utopia, if ya know what I mean! :-)Yes, I'm going only after looks in this post (since I have no idea how LTU2005's systems are), though my opinion is that PSS's systems simulation is good "enough". I mean, we are not training ourselves to fly in real world...OK, I didn't want to insult anyway, this is just a pure opinion as I saw the products!

Hi guysSince I installed Ultimate Traffic I have noticed that the system that shows aircraft flying around my a/c is showing two images and associated text. I do not think that I have double vision(no I haven't had a drop all day). Any ideas to cure this minor but irritating problem.Whilst on this subject, how does one stop the default airlines being reported on ATC and still appearing at airports?Thanks in anticipation

Does anyone successfully use FSAutostart to kill unwanted background processes / programmes. I have tired to use this programme but cannot seem to save any settings that I configure. It says that the settings have been saved to the profile, but when hitting the start icon nothing happens. If I look at the ini file for the profile it does not contain any of the configurations made.Any ideas or help would be appreciated.Alternatively are there any other programmes in use, which do the same job?Regards,Stuart Hyett

Hi,Had a problem downloading at first but Richard got the problem solved quickly. He has given superb customer service dealing with this product. I love the scenery and will purchase the next volumes. I also have his Harvy scenery and love that also. He is a good chap. I thank him for all his hard work. Between his scenery and Misty fjords, I don't think I'm ever going to leave Alaska. Thank you, Shelley

I note Flight 1 supports only WinXP users. However, has anyone tried it using Win9x? If the program is just replacing existing default textures with superior why would it not run on 9x?My FS2004 runs flawlessly with 100% stability on a Win98 FS-dedicated PC but, unfortunately, much as I'd love to have upgraded, both WinXP Home and Pro proved utterly incapable of handling all the complexities of my homebuilt cockpit so I won't be changing.I posted this same query to the Flight 1 Support Forum In April and the reply I received was as follows:"The installer may not work but we may be able to get it going for you? I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Posky 767-300ER V4 in the Circa 1995 colors? I have only seen the new colors and I always liked the blue and grey version better. I suppose I outo download the new version and see if this scheme grows on me. I always though thought I like the mid 90s scheme better. Any info would be appreciated.Thank You,Kurt.

Well, after reading all the panic posts here about FS10 being "entirely ported" to the new XBOX (which I don't really think will happen) consider this...With the online capability of the current XBOX (which I am an owner of) wouldn't it be cool if you could network the XBOX 360 to your existing PC.If the new XBOX is as powerfull as it currently seems, could it be used as the driver for FS10 and your PC could run all the other associated software (like Active Sky, ect.).Now I know this may not be the case, but I thought it would be an interesting concept.Being both an current XBOX user and PC flight simulator enthusiest, it would be interesting to know if this might be pos…

Ok I did a search for this, but didn't find any results that was along my lines.My problem is this.When I am in 2d mode my panels flicker black ever 5-10 seconds or so.At first I thought it was just my PMDG stuff, but then I loaded default as well as other freeware planes, and they are all doing the same thing, if I am in the VC everything is ok, same with spot and tower views. But when in 2D panel view it flickers.I have a P4 3 gig1.5 gig ramNvidia G-Force Fx5900 VE at 256MBDrives are all up to date (Forceware 71.89)Direct X 9.0CI am just baffled. Hi guys,I'm going crazy. My sim won't start. I didn't install anything, change anything. I simply shut the thing down yesterday and now it won't start showing fe.dll as the culprit. So far I renamed the fs9.cfg, disabled all add-on dlls, removed all AFACD files, loaded an older scenery.cfg, restored the system to an older date, overwrote all dlls with the original versions I have from a clean install on a 2nd computer. Nothing seems to help.A reinstall is out of the question. It will take me month to have it running again as it was. I'd rather look for a new hobby.Any ideas?Alex

Hi there,this is my trouble since iFDG A3XX Day One.I'm using v1.4 updated models merged with PSS panel (Ed mods).What i need is a "definitive" answer to my question regard DECELERATION: When APPROACH PHASE ACTIVATED and CONFIRMED, setting in autopilot MANAGED SPEED the aircraft start slowing down to that green dot (clean configuration speed) on the Airspeed Tape in PFD; at that point, this is my question, should i expect any further deceleration down to the green S (minimum slat retraction speed) and the to the green F (minimum flap) retraction speed and extend slat/flaps accordingly?Or perhaps i have to extend slat/flaps when i need to decelerate (the contrary)?I ask th…

Good morning! FS2004 has been running great until about 6 hours ago. I cranked up the computer (Dell Dimension 4300, WinXP sp2), loaded a previously saved (and flown) flight, but when I called ATC and got the text window, I see the chat but get no audio. I hear the plane's engines, etc., fine - so the problem seems to be somewhere in the ATC module. I went to Settings, ATC and found Pilots Voices unchecked. Don't know how that happened ... but when I put the checkmark back in, there were *no* voices listed in the pull down menu. Even after a complete re-start of FS2004 there are still no voices in the pull down menu.I've never done any FS modifications other than a…

OK, we all have been over tweaks for weather, etc. Now I NEED to focus in on AI, it basically reduces my FPS by 50%!What are the tweeks?I have Ultimate Traffic and Mark Brunner's GA traffic add-on.I have Flight Ones Flight Environment using the low resolution clouds. On or about 12-21-04, the first day of winter, my fs9 refused to load. first time that has ever happened. When loading, the ctd would occur while loading terrain, somewhere in the 50 to 60 percent loading range.This remained for two weeks, in which i unistalled and reinstalled fs9 twice, same result.I followed the post of babewatcher 12-27-04, and from that I deleted usa roads. Guess what, fs9 is working perfectly, as it did before 12-21-04. This worked for me and i will post a message with folks of usa roads to see what they say. Some kind of conflict somewhere which may or may not have something to do with the winter textures?
