i just wondered how do get the autopilot to keep the nose up on landing? As it always seems the AP gives me a 3 or so degree nose down descent, which in real life is extremely rare, my planes like on 3 quaters weights, at least 7 10ths of flap, a low airspeed, what more is there 2 do?

OK, it's really just FS9 but with the new Dodosim Realstart addon for helicopter enthusiasts it might as well be a totally new sim! Some folks are balking at the price ($37 USD) but personally I think it is one of the best FS investments I've made in awhile. The description on the web site does not do it justice. This is not just a panel but a new model that flies very well with what feels like an entirely new physics model. I've never flown a helicopter before, other than RC, but there are certain rules of physics that simply don't apply to the default FS Bell and any addon I've tried. For no apparent reason,I have lost a number of engine sounds from my flightsim 2004.No other sounds were affected. The aircaft involved were all of the Boeing fleet,Bell206 Lear Jet,Mooney and Extra. I de installed and reinstalled but the situation was the same. I manually repeated the proceedure using the SEARCH method. Finally I installed "System Mechanic" and let it loose to suck out all the garbage files Guess What! Not a sausage. I have repeated the exercise a dozen times but can't find my engine noises. I'm running win98 on an IBM Aptiva pentium3 667mhz with 256 ram Does anyone Know what I'm doing wrong? Cheers to all skudrox44

when i close down fs 2004 comes up with a errora window with the send error report and the don`t send error report at the bottom of the window how can i stop it from doing that all the timeplz someone help me it`s doing my head in

I wonder is there a utility availably to convert to the FS9 flightplan.When you fly on the networks and ATC changes your flight plan trying to do it in FS9 is impossible.I need to be able to copy and paste the plan into the FS.With freeware vector gauges and glass cockpits linked to Fs planner there must be others (pulling their hairout)Anyone know about the FS9 planner and how to change the plan even manually. Hello!:I downloaded a Posky 757 and tried to install the Lonny Payne 757 panel by installing version 1.1 and then applying the update for FS2004.The panel seems to install correctly, but when I try to select any decimal number in the NAV1 selector it won't allow me. I can select 116.00 for example, but if I want to select 116.10 I just can't, it doesn't react.So I downloaded Jimmy Richards' panel which is based on Lonny Payne's, but I get the same exact problem, no decimal tuning on NAV1.I also use the provided config file for Posky planes and have FSUIPC 3.40 registered.Anyone knows what could be happening?Any way to fix it?Thanks!

I have found the Holy Grail of FPS! - at least MY Holy Grail.I fly all kinds of flights - sometimes low level VFR where I want to see nice scenery and maybe lots of other GA traffic- sometimes IFR where all I am really interested in is the weather - sometimes high levels where I want to see what the earth looks like at those high levels - sometimes a complex a/c where I am mostly interested in the a/c systems. I have realised that with my system, I can't have everything - so I relax those sliders that impact upon what I don't want for a particular flight. I just installed a new panel for my 777 meljet. All was working fine with my new A/C installed. Then I added a checkride recorder and a different panel, and now I get a "FS has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienence" error. I got rid of evert gauge, sound, file, and anything related to it, but it still won't work and I am stuck. I can't reinstall because I lost my 4th disk.

I find myself often manually re-arranging the layers in scenery config file. And it is a very tedious process having to make sure the areas and layers are numbered correctly and sequentially. Is there a program that automatically does that?Another question: how do you manage different scenery config from different sceneries. Does anyone have any rational ideas as to why Microsoft has not made mention of FS2006? It's not like they have to keep secrets from their flight simulation competitors. There aren't any.
