Was wondering if anyone has ever had a 767 or equivalant aircraft fly level at FL360 manually. Seems to me that you would be constantly trimming as everything is always changing. I was trying it but had to close FS as there was something going on.JimCYWG

Those cloud files that go from 512 to 128 t 64. Is there as much of a FR increase of smoothness as is clamed?JimCYWG

I am a little mixxed up when it comes to the type of "add o scenery" and the direction to head that will allow the type and volume of scenery that one can chose from.now and in the future, (future; realizing we cant see into a crystal ball but rather the most propable outcomes based on the knowledge at hand today.I think I I know just enough about "add on scenery" (AOS for this document forward) market to realize I really dont know much at all. Would appreciate any comments on this scenery. Their site now indicates a 30 day money back policy and improved fps. The screen shots look very good. They also state "Compatible with default Microsoft Scenery also compatible with VFR Photographic Scenery & VFR Terrain." Does this mean you no lomger need the VFR scenery and terrain package installed to use this scenery? Is it possible to disable the right click menu in FS9? Its very annoying when handling the MCP in PMDG737.

Hi all! I am having a major problem. I cannot figure it out, and I need some input on this peculiar problem. When I start the game, I have NO taxiways. The lines are all there, and so are the signs, but no hard surface. I can then go into my settings / display / scenery complexity, and I can raise it to the max, or if I start it off at max, reduce it a little. Then I can go back to the game. Once there I still will not have the surface textured. I must go back in and do it again, and if I reduce or increase the scenery complexity and start the game, the textures will now be there. NOW......if I take off and fly for a few minutes and come back to land, the textures will be…

Today I received a spam for a e-mailing software called Rafale. After having contacted the company that did send me this unwanted ad, I was told that they got my mail address from a "friend of mine", and he named Mr Christian Fonck. I found out that Mr Fonck is the gentleman that is behind Flightworld. I had purchased the Geneva scenery from them somewhere in 1998/1999, and had a couple of mail exchanges with Mr Fonck end of 1999 regarding an upgrade for this scenery. What I do not know is if I am the only one whose address had been give away or if he transferred all his customers addresses. Hi Guys,I had my FS9 setup completely on the PC so I wouldn't need to have the CD4 in the drive all the time. However, since I have upgraded to FS9.1, I am asked to place the CD in before MSFS2004 will run. Any ideas what could be the cause or any tips on how to resolve this issue? I have tried the MS KB articles but they are no use or at least I haven't managed to find the right one.Many thanks in advance for your help.CheersMehdi

I just bought Flight Environment and have a question. When you use the FE randomizer do you have to use it every time you start FS9? Or do you randomize it once and then forget about it?

I was flying around at sunset yesterday in the Dreamfleet A36, and I noticed it was a bit hard to see the gauges. So I naturally turned on the panel lights and radio lights, but this didn't really make the difference. I had to use the flood light overhead to see the gauges. Being a pilot I would rather use the panel lighs than a flood light. I have noticed this with other aircraft, that the night lighting of the panel doesn't come on until a certain time of the evening. Does anyone know what time that is? Can I alter the time the panel lights will illuminate?Thank you for your assistance.Kev

Hi all, i downloaded the bbj upgrade for the pmdg, but my VC textures dont show up. I have gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the sim, and still no results. Has this happend to any one before? What textures should i move over so i can have the VC textured? Thanks. :-wave

Per the link, the update says that not much was updated since the Archer worked well in FS2004 already...http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/Archer/0_FS9.htmBut... How can the flightmodel not have been tweaked to account for changes done between FS2002 and FS2004?I thought the FM programming when I flew the plane in FS2002 days was at least passable; I'm wondering if the FM is still "good" and in close proximity to the Archer in terms of performance/characteristics now that the updates been made for 2004...Anyone?

I installed FE 2004 last nite and it went in well. All screens are there and all things seem to work in terms of clicking around. But when I click the Randomizer and Fly Now, it just takes me to my usual create a flight screen in FS9 where I click and I'm at KSEA in the default Cessna under the "Fair Weather" weather theme. I don't see anything randomized. Beyond this, if I click around and do SAVE & INSTALL with other weather choices inside FE 2004, I don't see anything taking effect in FS9. My default FS9 weather is the FAIR WEATHER theme. Is this interfering with things?What am I doing wrong or what am I not doing right ?Appreciate advice, thanks!JS

Could use some advice here. Recently, when i load the PMDG NG737, when it loads the NavData base, it take's about 5 min. When i was trying to load the aircraft for a flight from IAH-DAB and it took over 10, i knew something was wrong. Anyone know what i should do? It used to load in under 4 seconds, now it takes 10 min. So, what could be wrong?Thanks in advace! :-wave

Anybody have this? I've already ordered my but was wondering if anybody else already has it to see how it works for them. I mainly brought it just for the ability to communicate with FS ATC at night so I dont have to see the numbers on the keyboard but if some of the other features work as they are said to it will be an additional bonus. Recently I read some comments comparing a new 737NG payware a/c to PMDG's and the name of the maker/publisher escapes me. I remember going to the website and reading how it incorporates some radical new concepts regarding VC's. Can any point me in the direction?thanks,Eric

The scenery to which I make reference is wv-fs9_v01-05.zip, and the wv_2004-v1m.zip patch downloaded from AvSim. First let me thank Richard for the great work. I wish he could do the water scenery for the whole world. I am useing FSGenesis landscape and 38 mesh. I am also useing American data (streams only), and Ultimate Terrain, Canada and Alaska (Don't really know exactly how far this reaches into the USA).
