Hello everyone,I have a problem that I can't solve so it would be great if someone could help me. I've downloaded B737-400 panel By Targan Unutmaz from AVSIM Library and I like it a lot. It is much better than default B737-400 panel but I have a problem with it. Everytime I start new flight I have to stretch main panel and overhead panel because "borders" of overhead panel and main panel do not fit at all. Could some one tell me how can I set this once for good so I don't have to do it before every flight? I supose I'll have to, if it's even possible to solve my problem, play with the numbers in panel.cfg, but I don't know what numbers so any help would be great.Best reg…

Gentlemen / Ladies,Fs painter AI models seems to deploy the thrust reverser and spoilers during the descend phase of the flight keeping it engaged all along, and through touchdown the condition continues. After the touch down roll the nose pitches up few more degrees , settling the nose wheel quite awhile later for a long pitched up touchdown run, and finally it deactivates the thrust reversers and spiolers when the speed reduces during the run.The models are utilized with Ultimate trrafic AI program, other AI aircraft does not exhibith this kind of behaviour with Ultimate trrafic.Any way to fix this condition? must it remain as is?.Thanking You,Best Regards,Aftab.

I have deleted the Default FS2004 Bell helicopter. How can I re-install it without having to re-install the whole program? The reason for asking is that I downloaded Steve Hanley's Bell206bLZ heli, but can't seem to get the cockpit panel to show, is this because of my deleted original.

  5. Hi,Does anyone know what the best way is for feedback/suggestions to MS for future versions ? They used to have an e-mail address Tell_FS at microsoft.com. Once you sent mail there you received an automatic reply. This was until about FS2004 came out. After that I have not received the automatic reply any longer. So I wonder whether this address is still monitored or whether we should now use some MS web page for feedback. I had a link to one a few weeks ago but this does not show the same page anymore. Does anyone have a good link for that ?Regards,Siggy

For those who dont know about this little gem, it totally changes the way you fly. I recently bought this and there GF-MCP and am very pleased with both the items and the supplier. The MCP is pretty straight forward as to how it works and what it does but the ATC is based on sound and this can't really be described unless you hear it for yourself. THe ATC is truely a one of a kind piece of hardware. I mainly brought it so during night flights I dont have to keep searching my keyboard trying to find the right key and thought if the sound thing works like its billed to be then all the better. But after getting it installed found that I had low expectations of what this…

Hi,I posted this question yesterday, and while there were 21 views, there were no responses. So, let me try rephrasing my question.I saved a flight the other day while the autopilot was turned on, and the fuel was off-balance (left tank was half full, right tank was full). Then, when I created new flights in different aircraft and different airports, the same configuration was there, i.e., all of my aircraft started on the runway with the autopilot turned on and the fuel way off balance. Obviously, this is a problem. How can I start a new flight without having the same settings as a flight that I previously saved? Thanks.

For some fun and to verify the mesh/landclass you are flying, (which is what justifies this post on this forum...I hope) go to www.keyhole.com and download a free 7 day trial of their satellite photography software. What is cool is that you start out in orbit and zoom down at about Mach 20 to the spot on the planet (USA only at this time) that you have selected.Only several major metro areas are supported with their his res images but the menu is building over time. But just pick San Francisco for example and zoom down to 2000 agl then you can Tilt the image as though you were in an airplane looking out the window...not through a hole in the floor...and then you can scroll …

Well since I'm a broke teenager, lol, I was wondering if their are any QUALITY FREEWARE scenery add-ons that they would reccomend. I'm mainly interested in major US cities, but any other city in the US that is done well could be of interest. I was particulary trying to find Kansas City International or Manhattan Regional (close to where I live) but again, if you could reccomend any i would greatly appreciate it! THANKS!

I have started to try out the Realair amphibian Scout. I can't takeoff from water. Problems that occures areThe plane does not gain enough speed (pitches up).It pitches up and the stall warning sounds and the speeddoes not increase more. Pitching down didn't help me.The plane is very prone to tilt on its side. It's very difficult to go straight on the water. In the few occasions where I did takeoff the plane immidiately stalled afterwards and crashed. The taildragger Scout does not give me these problems even though it's more tricky than a C172.

  13. Not sure how long ago this happened....In FS2K2, I was able to hear the stall horn warning when just abouttouching the runway in the Cessna. I guess it's a good practice tohear this just before touchdown (indicates the "right" touchdown speed). However, with FS2K4 (FS9), I don't hear the stall horn when the airspeed drops to the point of it sounding? I don't hear this on ANY aircraft. Is there an option (sound setting) preventing me from hearing this? The only sound I have turned way down (on the sliders) is the navigation (so as not to hear the OM/IM beeping so loud when approaching an airport).Any clues/suggestions?JerryG

I've searched through the SDKs from Microsoft, in particular the Aircraft Container SDK and cannot find any information on this. In the FS9.cfg file is the following entry:[AIRtoCONTAINER]SIM1=Cessna Skylane 182R RGSIM2=Learjet 45SIM3=Schweizer 2-32 SailplaneSIM4=Sopwith CamelSIM5=Extra 300SSIM6=Boeing 737-400What is the significance of SIM1, SIM2, etc.? Why are there only 6 aircraft listed here not SIM1 through SIMn? Is the SIMx used anywhere else like an .air or .cfg file? Thanks for any insight that you can provide.

My airport buildings and gates seem to have all but dissapeared. I have noticed this in the US and Europe so it is not a local problem.I'm guessing it is related to scenery addons that i have installed but do not know which one. What i thought i might try is uninstall each scenery area one by one and see if that solves the problem, which means uninstalling from add/remove program and deleting files manually where there is no uninstall option available.I am posting this just in case someone else may have experienced this, or possibly have an idea as to what else could be causing this.CheersDan

  17. Old hat to the FS9 gurus but for the benefit of relative newbies - like me http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contri.../bluetongue.gifI've read a lot of comments from fellow Avsimmers on the benefits of removing aircraft that you don't fly and putting them in another folder - a virtual hangar.Well...I tried it and the difference is huge.My FS9 loads in about 20 seconds (it used to take 90secs). The aircraft menu within the program loads in 2secs (used to take about 12secs) and flights load faster as well. And thats just by removing less than half the planes I have.To those that have not tried it...you should! You will be surprised to see the number of planes you *do no…

Hi thereI've just started to realise the potential of fs2004's knee-board (i know, where have i been all this time :-roll ) and enjoy beeing able to surf whilst in the middle of long flights.I have just one question though - is there any way to ensure that pages are always displayed within the confines of the knee-board ? as on several occassions clicking on a link has tabbed me out of flightsim and into internet explorer to open up the page. Many thanks Gary

I'm currently researching an article on 'simming without time acceleration' and would be really interested to (gently) quiz any long-time MSFS users that routinely fly long-haul without using the 'r' key.If you feel you fit into this category and wouldn't mind answering a few questions about your experiences and motivations then please add a reply or contact me directly at headcount@*REMOVETHIS*clara.co.ukMany thanks,Tim Stone

  24. Quick question, i downloaded the prettiest a340, Cathay Pacific that is, and tryed the VC version. Wasnt working, so i went to posky's website and downloaded the gauges, thinking that would fix my issue. Got into the plane, drooling even more, and still no fix. I have a nice panel, but no vc gauges. Can some one point me in the right direction? Thanks.. :-wave
