i have loaded FS after a couple of add on additions, nothing major and tried to get taxi clearance. get the following from atc1) request taxi to gates2) request taxi to parking3) request takeoffoption 3 works but 1 and 2 dont...then get 1) remain in pattern2) depart strait outetc etc NONE of these work so i cant get clearancecan you provide me with a reason and fix for this please as i am currently grounded. :) thanxAnde

Hello everyoneI've read alot about CTDs in FS9 here, but have held off posting until I'd read through them. However, none match the circumstances in which they have been occuring for me.I get CTDs when using World>Airports>Go to Airports and also when switching the time of day. This has only happened recently, and I think since I installed the CH Throttle Quad. That meant I also changed devices.cfg and had also done a tweak to FS9.cfgI've updated DirectX, my ATI card drivers, deleted backup scenery.cfgs, run ScanAFD and FlightSim Manager across my setup, but still they happen!Can anyone offer any advice/solutions?Many thanksRob

I own most of the planes by Carenado, and they all are great. I do have one problem with their new 182. When taking off, it seems as though a lot of back pressure is required compared to other planes of the same type. Is it just my joystick, or is the flight model supposed to act like this? Thanks for any help.

I see an ad in the upper right hand corner of the Avsim Forum for KMSY New Orleans. Since I live in Greater New Orleans I was really happy to see that someone finally made my airport (KMSY) look great. I bought it and it really does looks great !! I just downloaded and installed the FREEFlow New England scenery. It is signficantly better than the default -- really looks great! Good work, guys.My question is, does Ultimate Terrain produce the same sort of result, except for all of Canada (and soon the USA)? I am starting to get the hang of these items now...One question I have is lets say I have the real air Marchetti sf.260Which I just got muuahhahh.. This thing is sweet love the flight characteristics landing etc..Someone stop me I am getting out of Cntrl with this Simming..Ok back to the biz..What my question is. Is there a way to implement that plane in FSBuild weight and specs etc.. So I can plan off of thatWondering if anyone knows of any tricks or something..One things for sure I am tired of the ATR stuck in my flight plans that out weighs my plane by about 100 times..And carries more fuel in the injectors than the Marachetti holds in the tanks... …

I am getting an "invalid directory" message when trying to install the Vans freeware 727. The installer does not allow you to chose a different target directory. In one of it's pages it asks you to select the FS version and offers three choices of panels, two payware and one default. Is there a way to manually install this aircraft?Thanks in advance,Mauricio

Anyone know how to change the roll rate of an aircraft? Is it in the air file? I looked at it with air ed but could not find much that looked like an roll rate. May have missed it though.JimCYWG

Can anyone comment on the feasability of using the TrackIR product and the i-glasses PC/SVGA 3D Pro? I've seen the TrackIR 3 Pro in action and will be getting one soon. However, I was wondering if things could be improved further so that instead of having to keep my eyes rooted to my monitor as I turn my head, I can use the I-Glasses products in combination.I've not seen the I-Glasses in action and have numerous important questions that are, rather lamely, not covered in the FAQ on the website.Am I right in thinking that the I-Glasses will not support resolutions higher than 800 X 600? Hi guys,Since I've purchased this plane, I have had this problem. I use FS2004. When I start with my flight, I set all systems, when I have to ask the IFR clearence the COM radio doesn't work. I have to save, close and restart the flight. I've tried all solutions, in the Feelthere forum several users counsil to not use the radio panel and FMC radio page. But also using the FS ATC window (autotuning function) I have the same problem. I'm also thinking to have a battery problem: I'm using FSUIPC not registered and in the FS2002 version there was the "Extended battery" function to fix problems like this... Can anyone help me? Hello,I have a big problem with FS :When I fly offline, no problem.When I fly online (Ivao or Vatsim), FPS drop down on approach ...Everything's okay during taxi, take-off, cruise, but on landing, it's catastrophic :From around 25FPS during the flight, FPS drop down to 15 on initial approach, and down to 2-3 on final !It happens even if no aircraft is in sight, but it is worse when there are !Have a look at this :Do anyone of you have an idea to solve this problem ???Thanks a lot,

1. When I lean the A36 I have to bring the mixture control back to about 40% to get to peak EGT. Isn't that a lot...? 2. Do you have to lean every now and then? If so, how often? I found out that a short while after leaning the mixture things had changed, because when I did it again, I got completely different results. Or didn't I do it well the first time...?Here's how I do it (with the EDM 700). When in cruise (throttle and prop in good settings) I press the LeanFind button and start leaning the mixture. Hello Gents,I recently bought a new cpu...Dell Dimension 4700P43.4GHz1BG RAM80GB Hard DriveRadeon X700 PCIeFor the first few months i was getting spectacular FPS... I had it locked at 40 and it would only dip slightly below in heavy scenery. Recently with the last few weeks i've noticed strange spikes.Example: my frames will go like this..... 40, 40, 40, 38, 19, 25, 40, 40, 39, 39, 39, 16, 31, 40, 40, 40, 40These sudden dips in FPS makes for a real choppy ride and is clearly noticeable... especially when turning on the ground.I have also noticed that i have a hard time staying locked at 40 anymore. Last weekend I fooled around with the Active Camera 2.0 demo and I'm so BLOWN AWAY by it that I just have to spread the news to everyone who still doesn't have it! (And NO. I'm not affiliated in any way with the people who made it! I'm just VERY enthousiastic!) I like to fly with VC's (just bought the DF Beech A36 which also is AWESOME!). Hello folks me again... I have just recently purchase the Garmin xp 530...This is my current situation... I went into the Menu Setup MapWell I don't like the current config settings I screwed up in it...Well I definately know how to get there and correct the settings but I sure the heck can not get out...I have read read read.. And I am hopefully missing something or it could be a bug..Once I get to that menu I do everything I think under the sun to get out..Ent etc... right left left right on the knob etc... And the only way I can get out is by hitting fpl or the way point button but then It does not save the changes..I tried to set them back to default.. Can't get out…
