Is it just me or is anyone else having the problem with AI planes and go arounds still? Ive used AI smooth FSAIV you name it, nothign works..even when i turn down the traffic i still get planes conflicting with landings...is there annny cure for this? especially happens in airports with multiple runways but only able to use one due to the flight sim programming..its very annoying any help??thanks,Stephen

Hi anyone able to get this working on the Default 737...i can get the Idle smoke effect,but when i open up the throttle,i get grey squares instead of the smoke effect...i know that it's not finding the effect file..but it is in the right place and i followed the instructions carefully..i am quite good at this sort of thing normally(i added smoke to all my AI traffic manually)i spent a couple of hours on this earlier... any ideas appreciated steve

I have found recently that all my automatic entries to the logbook are lost. Although everything seems to go Ok in the dialogue, no entry is registered, unless I make a "manual" entry. I tried to create a new logbook, but the result is exactly the same. Any ideas about the reason for that?Regards,

Hi All, Sorry if this has been discussed, if so maybe you can link me to the topic. In the PMDG 737 products and Level-D 767, on the MCP is a button for FL CHG. What and how is this used? I have used the ALT dial for changing altitude before in conjunction with the VNAV button or used V/S to control altitude and rate, so I am curious when the FL CHG button should be used. I also noticed on some MCP's a CWS button, when is this typically used? I see on the front page of AVSIM that this wonderful rendition of the D18S is soon going to be released....for FREE! How could this be? It looks as good as ANY payware that I own. I just can't wait for it, and it looks like it's really going to be a winner. The VC and the 2D Panel look fantastic, and the exterior is beyond description. I thank you in advance (Milton, Scott and Andre) for giving the AVSIM community such an aircraft.

I've heard that simflyers is a frame rate killer. Is this true? Debating on purchasing some of the airports, but if it crawls on my 6800GT p4 2.8, I won't bother.

Using the old Activesky, and noticed that my clouds are very square / pixelated. Not sure why this is. They are not the color of clouds, they are big blocks of pixels. Any ideas what could cause this? 6800GT with 7700 drivers.

1st problem is with the PC Orion update. The instructions on how to install do not exist. I've run the update exe file and then the 2D panel has no gauges. In FS2002 the water textures are almost black even with slider full to right. Has anyone produced a n update water texture file to make them a more natural blue. If so file name an location please.Thanks in advance. Chuck

In word...WOW....I just set up CYYZ (Toronto Pearson) in the Weather Generator section for BLIZZARD...and that's exactly what I got! The weather graphics (heavy snow) was very, very life-like. I loved the change in the animation of the snow as I rolled down the runway, with a great rendering of a driven snow-flake.Good go, guys....This is one great program that at the 512x512x32 cloud texture, even in a blinding snowstorm that you don't break out of until 12,000 feet...my FPS only dipped to around 14 to 17 in the heavy storm depiction. hi allis there any programs out there, besides fs2crew and FDC that cater for virtual co-pilot? It gets kind of lonely and very busy at landing / taking off doing everything yourself,there used to be a really good freeware addon from a European / Greek gentleman (i may be wrong) for fs98 / 2000 which gave basic flap callouts etc, however there hasnt been anu updates since.

everytime i see screenshots it seems that every other persons flight sim is different to mine. Everyone has got different airports, proper airlines AI, better clouds and water, totally different skies and clouds, detailed cities, so ive decided that im going to buy a load of FS stuff for my birthday (july1st) but ive just got no idea where to start with fs.could someone make a list or something of the main addons i need, thanks.willg
