My computer is starting to get some very bad windows rot. I've done a defrag, virus scan, various spyware programs, etc, but it's still nowhere as good as it used to be. Therefore, I am going to do a complete reformat. The only thing I am worried about though is completely losing my Flight Simulator 2002 game, and more importantly, losing the years of modifications, model additions, AI additions, and everything else that I have added to it. lo, all was going fine on Swissair 238 until when 12 NM from Eleftherios Venizelos International in Athens i opened the IFR flight plan. Whilst entering the approach and on something of a downind leg i keep getting repeatedly instructed by ATC to 'expedite my climb to 19 000'! 19 000, 19 000!!!!! im about to start my final APP now at 18 Nm from Visual 3L, this HAS to be a bug, surely?! plzzz help. at the moment the only way to stop the controller saying this is to keep him talking about other things by requesting different approaches constantly. im on the verge of loosing my IFR Service rite now, some1 do something!

Thanks again for a really nice looking aircraft. I particularly like the America West paint scheme. I seem to have some problems with the aircraft bouncing on its nose when taxiing and taking off and was wondering if anyone has a fix. I think the aircraft.cfg file has to be modified, but I am not an expert with fiddling with this. I tried to fly from 3 airports and could not get rid of the bouncing.Thanks for any help or suggestions.Airbus

I would like to know what is the performance of the Pic ERJ in terms of framerates and fluidity, especially in comparison with the PMDG 737.I have only a P4 2.4 GHZ with 512 MB and a 64MB graphics Card.The PMDG 737 is just flyable (especially in terminal areas) on my machine.Thanks in advance.Guy

So I bought the Maddog last week--it looks great. But I can't fly it. Can't seem to find the manual, although it's probably right in front of my face. The big problem is that I can't get on their forum for help with that or any other problem. I registered, then you're supposed to get a confirmation email with a URL to click, which all went "smooth." However, still can't get on the forum. for a while ago i posted a question about who the best terrain or mesh scenery developer was. The answer was without a doubt FsGenesis. Im just curious to know.. cause right now im holding a creditcard in my right hand and a pair of scissors in the other... should i go for the lifetime membership? is it really worth it?and finally, i got way to many addon airports varying from FlyTampa to Simflyers and ImagineSim. after installing a panel with passenger views, ive just found the plane has a VC, so i cant see the wingviews, when i look behind me i just see the VC. So id simply like to know how to delete a VC. ive deleted the VC lines from the config but i cant think what else to do, shud i look in the aircraft.cfg.

I'm looking for some help with the FS9 ATC when using modified AF2 files. The ATC loves to send me to runways that have been set for closed for landing, which is not a good thing sometimes. The best example I have of this is trying to land at Lukla, Nepal (VNLK) using the NEPAL AIRPORT SCENERY, VERSION 2.0 by Einar Aarvik. The modified AF2 file closes runway 25 to landings and runway 7 to takeoffs as it should be in real life. However, the ATC loves to try to send me to land at runway 25 without the option of even using runway 7 (depending on the winds of course). Hi all. i was wondering if anyone can help me with the b737-800 from kittyhawk. The problem is that this aircraft simply will not hold altitude when the autopilot is engaged immediately after takeoff. Is there something that I can adjust in the aircraft config or is it an sir file problem? Thanks in advance

HIi installed the new EFHK scenery and it wont load. I also installed all the other files mesh ect from fsnordic, and put them in the order indicated by one of the staff members in another thread (page2 or 3). I replaced the afcad and now when i try to load the airport, i get a constant CTDWhats wrongthanks

First let me say that this is a wonderful scenery set! I am getting a lockup however when trying to either originate a flight from (or flying to) Whiting Field South which is near Pensacola Florida. When beginning FS9 with that starting location I believe it halts while loading textures. Can someone see if they experience this? Dear friends, you won't hear a landing clearance given by Pawel 'Pawko' Grzadkowski any more. After a long struggle with illness, he was cleared for his last eternal flight. Pawko was well known as a pilot in Poland and abroad. He joined the team of controllers just a few months ago. Because of this disease, despite being 21 years old, he has had a voice that at the beginning we have all mistaken for a child. No one has realized that Pawko was suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, and how difficult it was for him to spell the clearances for VATSIM pilots. lo with my birthday soon approaching i really need to work out what fs addons i want. Everyone elses FS looks so customized, and i simply dont have a clue where to start.ideally im looking for addons which deal with the ground, im not all that bothered about the sky to be honest, i loose to many frames on clouds anyway. Im really looking not for total eye candy in one small area, but a general improvement of textures and mesh worldwide. of course some detailed custom airports wud be good 2, along with some roads and railways. I have a PIV 2.oGh with 512MB RAM and a 256 ATI 9600 card. With Flytampa everything slows down so bad (I will be uninstalling it though it looks GOOD-demo version). I was reading a recent thread where someone recommended someone to try out EGLL Pro so as to see the framerate difference. I did and found it better than Flytampa. I have Japanscenery and Megascenery and framerates are excellent with those. The Paris base pack is like Megascenery right? Not slow? And the CDG Add on?Now I want to use virtual cockpits (as in PMDG?) with my sim but I don't know what the framrate hit will be.There is PIC a/c, PMDG, Ariane, etc etc and I am wondering which has the smoothest framera…
