I've just noticed that ATC is giving me totally different random courses and altitudes to what i planned. For example if im flying on FMS/GPS hold (not NAV) bang on course atc will be telling me to turn to almost a 90 degree turn sometimes. i also get new instructions every few minutes so im tipping and turning all flight, not very pleasant.As for the approach, 15 NM from the runway im being told to be at 14000 even if i descend to the altitude i should be at, please could someone help me out with this.also theres no point in APP charts as ATC just makes a totally random spur of the moment route for me.another bug is that theres always a plane, ALWAYS, almost in an exact …

is there a way to make the FS world more vibrant. Its just that it doesnt capture the escence of a lovely day. Its just so grey and dull even on a midsummers hot sunny day. theres probably some payware programs but im appreciate some freeware as i dont really have money at the moment to spend on flightsim. also is there a way i can make the ground more buzzing and green instead of the dull grey brown colour?

I was wondering, as I couldn't find any posts about this, whether it is possible to put some sceneries on other drives? Will FS9 read it all right? The reason I'm asking is I have so many sceneries installed and now we're getting some huge sceneries like VFR France's Ile de Paris which is a whopper in size.Lee

Just curious, but has anyone heard anything about FS 06? I just realized that it will be exactly 2 years in about a month since FS 04 was released. By now we usually have some sneak peeks or articles coming out. Thanks. Tom

I just purchased the Carenado Skylane last night and am blown away. It is my first purchase from Carenado, and I do understand it is the best yet from them. It got me interested in the other offerings from this developer. The T-34 was just reviewed here at Avsim, and the only criticism is the gauges stutter. I have searched here and on several other forums and have not seen it mentioned elsewhere. What have others experienced? I am not expecting RealAir smoothness, but I don't want them jumping all over either.I fly almost exclusively in the VC, so that aspect is important to me. Yesterday I was taking a short flight in Florida after downloading FreeFlow Florida scenery. As I flew near the Shuttle launch facility I wondered if anyone had designed an AI Shuttle. Would be interesting to see the Shuttle land in daylight and at night once each day. I'm not sure of the altitude limit in FS2004, but a night landing starting at maybe 100,000 feet with the Shuttle streaking across the sky at mach speed would indeed be a nice AI addition. Please include a glowing under belly and a really long smoke trail.Richard

Hi all,Is the survey reporting a completely transparent process or should I expect to be asked for the report to be sent after every flight? I am running behind a hardware firewall. Would this prevent the reporting system to work properly? Hi, i have tried searching the forums for an answer but i cannot seem to find one! I have the PSS airbus package and have assigned the panel to work with the IFDG A321. It works really well but much to my frustration :-fume the slats will not extend. I'm not sure if this is the same for the A320/19. Any comments on how to fix this would be really appreciated. I just got the Feelthere ERJ-145, great plane. I have a problem with parking, ATC keeps sending me to GA parking ramp, I'd much rather go to the gates. Is there a way to change this? Thanks for any help.Greg

A few months ago I added freeware forest textures to my files that promised a more effective 3D effect. There were 6 or so new textures. Since then forest scenery looks like a checkerboard pattern of different kinds of trees. Like a forest quilt. Does anyone know of a simple fix to restore a more uniform forest texture pattern?

Hi,I purchased the Flight1 Cessna 172 and have a minor issue. I have posted three times on their support site, many people read the post but no one had a solution. I am hoping someone here may have an idea as it may pertain to any planes configuration.I am looking for any possible solution to allow me to to toggle dme between nav1 and nav2 with a key stroke. Is there a config entry that can be made. Right now I can only change it via a mouse click on the panel. The default dme key stroke in MS FS does nothing on the Flight1 Cessna and setting up a keystroke via FSUIPC does nothing either. Hi all. I have been noticing that I have tears in the default ground scenery when I am at altitude cruising. The tears are not everywhere, but do appear from time to time. It seems that the tears occur where two default ground textures meet. Can anyone help. Thanks

I need help from someone who understands computers and FS9 far better than I do. I have been simming for years and have several thousand hours under my belt. As far as the actual fying goes, I have no problem at all. My problem is that FS9 will no longer allow me to log flights other than manually after every flight. Of course it used to be, that when I would exit, the logbook would open, I would enter the departure airport and the place I ended up, FS9 would enter the time, day and night and log the flight. Now I have to go to options before exiting, open logbook and enter everything manually, including the time. To add insult to injury, now frequently upon exit, FS9…

I just got into add-on airport scenery and really can't go back to the dull looking default airports. I've tried a few freeware airports, but only the Canarysim's really caught my WOW factor. Anyway, can somebody recommend detailed scenery? If not freeware, then a quality payware version. I've heard mixed reviews on imaginesims but if no other recomendations are given I'll pick up their KMSY.I fly mainly in the US but am looking for some great Asian airports mainly in Japan.
