Does anybody knew what causes these at various points in FS9 scenery?

Compare to a VFR map of the area... transmission lines are shown there.

If they are seen as thin white lines in the distance but disappear as you get closer to them I think it is to do with mesh. I see them too and it seems to have happened since I changed my mesh setting after installing FS9.1 update. You could try changing the mesh setting in FS9.cfg
