I have no engine sound on jets,but i have it on props,and no ATC sound.And in options all sounds is at max.Then i reinstalled fs but no change.Can somebody help me?Thanks.

Brian Gladden politely pointed out to me that I forgot to include the AFCAD file in my release of Hawthorne-Feather Airpark (8B1) in Hillsboro, NH available here at AVSIM. For those of you who have already downloaded the file I originally released, thank you, and I have just uploaded the missing AFCAD file to the library. Install it to either the addon sceneryK8B1scenery or the addon sceneryScenery directory, whichever you prefer.Sorry for the mixup.Thomas Perry

Just noticed my 'create a flight' preview screen is totally black, so i cannot see a rotating picture of any aircraft that i select to fly - has anyone got any ideas apart from a complete re-install of flightsim? it was perfectly ok yesterday!

Hi ya, can anyone maybe help with the jaggies i am getting on all my aircraft including default ones? Even in 'select aircraft' view when each aircraft is rotating around, they are visible. They have never been like this before, i have reinstalled flightsim, changed drivers, checked anti-aliasing, but its still the same, just like a slow moving shimmering escalator effect.Is there anything else i can do to eliminate them?

Hi guys,Is it possible do you think to install a second FS9 alongside the existing install by tweaking the windows registry somehow?I have an extremely pimped up FS running 150 addon airports, 4 gigs of AI, all the thrid party weather engines, meshes galore, texture, trees the list goes on.What I want to do is install a fresh copy and keep my other one there and then gradually build up the second copy to optimise sub folder structure/placement, generally tweak it up, install all the stuff again bit by bit until I can drop my current install. I don't want "downtime" and that's why I'm asking this question.Has anyone achieved this somehow?

Hello,I purchased both the American Roads from FSGen and the USA roads from Flight One. Today I got the re-pave package agian from FSGen. My question is will there be a problem with both the USA and American roads being installed at the same time. I am not sure but am thinking that they complement each other. Then I will run the re-paver package.This looks like a crazy question but after looking at them so long I figured best to post the question in hopes of some imput.Thank you.Mark.

I remember Milton Shupe (sp?) mentioned he was thinking of doing the Beech 18? Is this still in the cards? Guys & GalsJust got finished installing SimFlyers KPHX, and when I loaded into the normal AWA gates on concourse A, I see this strange flickering strip that basically runs 3/4 of the entire field on the north side of the main concourse. First I thought it was my add-on 30m mesh, but I removed it, and the flickering bar was still there. Because I cannot get an account working on Dreamfleet's own support site (!!!) I ask some questions here...1. The Reality XP Garmin 430 is REALLY great, but.. Hello Fellow Flight Simmers, I Own the PMDG C Twin and the ATR 72-500.I have got the bug and am wanting to purchase a couple other of planes.I was wanting to know if anyone out there owns the Conquest twin on flight 1 and if it is similar to the detail of the ATR 72-500?Also I am on the search for a executive style jet that is payware also that is detailed similar to the ATR..Looking for a style similar to a lear that has got some get up and go.Looking for something as real as we can get em... Hi folks,this morning, while on short final to LFKJ, i noticed that airport had disappeared :-(: only green down there also for friendly Ai. Too bad!After that i checked all Course airports and no one of them was visible: they all looked like golf courses (in Course).Now i ask, can anyone please suggest where to start troubleshooting?Thanks a lot for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hey everyone, I am considering purchasing Flight One's Ultimate Traffic program. It looks awesome, but i just want to make sure of some stuff. First, I know it creates AFCAD files for airports so does it interfere with other AFCAD files for third-party add-ons (i.e. like airports downloaded here at AVSIM) and (i think this may be a dumb question, but wanting to make sure lol) Does it create the traffic for you or do you have to set flight plans and all that other stuff like with Traffic Tools? The program looks awesome but i just wanna check and make sure it doesn't mess up the traffic at add-on airports, and that it's easy to use. THANKS!!!

Hi there I have just upgraded to a new PC and re-installed everything. The problem I have is ATC are now calling Landmark , Orbit etc. I can't remember how to get rid of these.Any ideas?Maddon

Hi Guys I am buying a new computer and want to know the best way to install my current FS9 onto the new system. My FS9 folder is now over 12Gigs and has a combination of payware and freeware addon aircraft and all of the other bits and pieces we all collect over time.Do I have to reinstall everything individually or can I just install FS9 then the FS9 patch and simply copy my aircraft folder, effects folder, gauges folder etc into the new installation from my old computer?Also I don't have XP Service Pack2 on my old computer but it will be preinstalled on the new one, will that cause problems? HiI have purchased both aircrafts the Level-D and PMDG 737-700. Inside the FS9 top menu I had the Level-D setting but since I installed the PMDG I have now only this aircraft in the top menu (amongs the other default FS9 settings). What happened to the Level-D settings and how can I get it back?Stelios

Hi,I have installed many AF2-files wich were delivered with scenery and some AI for Russia etc., but when I start at Novosibirsk(a beautiful scenery btw) the aprons are filled with many Citations, A's and B's but only a few An's and Tu's. Which mecanism defines the priority?Hugo

Hello,I have purchased some mesh from FSGen and am very happy with it. I have seen the add's for ?photo real? and "mega scenery" as well as packages "misty fjords".Of these and others like it I am having a hard time telling if the specific add on is add on scenery, mesh, or what have tou. I was wondering if there was a good rule of thumb or some type of guidelines to help somone make a wise purchase. For examble I do not know what is compatable and if I can have one geografic area covered by 2 add on's? The best area I can think of at this time is Alaska. Decided to pick up a Eaglesoft Beechjet 400A today. I already have the Citation X, which has been a joy to fly. Have been somewhat disappointed in not being able to find repaints for the Beechjet/Hawker. After a search at AVSIM and the other site I could only find 4 -6 repaints. This model has been out for sometime so I figured there would be quite a number to select from. There are plenty of good textures for most of the other Eaglesoft jets but few and far between for the Beechjet 400A. Will the repaints from FS2002 work with FS04? Certainly appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction to find some good repaints for this 400A. I have searched in t…

Lots of extremely cool repaints etc are showing up in the Avsim library amongst other places largely in part to the awesome work of Henry Tomkiwiez's great stuff. I have a request please. If you put up a livery for an F-16 etc, could you please include flightplans? Im assuming since you painted it, you have some on yr own PC. No need to get fancy with other files like airports and aircraft files. Most of us have those if we have military traffic...but would be MAJOR helpful to use your work if you made flightplans available (and afcads if you altered yours to fit the artwork.)Thanks in advanceEric
