Awhile back I found a website that listed the real flightplans used by Air Canada, but I can't find it again. Does anyone know of a site that lists real world flightplans?Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard1.0 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 40 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

When you depart in a medium size or large jet and need to do, say, a 180 deg turn within a few nm of liftoff to track back to a departure pattern and the flightplan path, what sort of speed would you typically fly at so you don't bust ATC orders and the track? Is it realistic to set your IAS to something like 210 or 220 for the climbout--and keep your flaps out during such a maneouver-- until you are aligned with a straighter climb path?Just curious...Thanks!JS

I have downloaded and use this excellent add-on, The small AI boats and Helicopter work fine, but MS Summit (as I understand it) is supposed to leave on the half hour, mine has a crew that are on strike it has never gone anywhere. Can anyone give me any pointers as what to look at to solve this prob. BTW I have EVIO4, vicenh02 and vicenh03 also installed on my FS9, any ideas?

Hi,Anyone else think the T38 is real twitchy? The slightest move left or right of my joystick can result in a 30 -40 deg roll. My stick is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Sorry if this looks like a hardware forum question but the real question is whether the T38 is too twitchy or not or whether someone has done a modified air file if it is?Kev

I purchased SimPlates 2004 a while ago, and downloaded their add-ons but it still doesn't have an airport diagram for RJAA. Where can I find airport diagrams for Japanese airports??Thanks!

A good review, but i read that it took between 5-10 min to proces the file on the reviewers pc, and that was a relatively highend pc.It takes no more than 25 seconds to process the file on my pc, so something is wrong either with my live traffic or the reviewers.OHN

OK, I've been a loyal Ultimate Traffic user since it came out for FS2002 and it has worked well with FS9. My only complaint has been the lack of GA traffic (other than the default), but I learned to live with it (or without, as the case may be). Recently I bought the MyTraffic military AI package. Very cool! Except that even on my high end system the amount of military traffic overwhelmed commercial traffic and affected frames in certain areas of the country. Still, I enjoyed it for a few weeks but eventually uninstalled it. Then I saw a review for FS Live Traffic, which I had dismissed as a novelty item when it came out. The review was pretty good so I bought it (yeah, I…

HiFor a month now I have been unable to access the 'create a flight' menu. I start at the saved flight section and have to load any saved flight then make my selctions from within a fligh. If I try to access 'create a flight' FS locks up. Only doing a system restore will allow FS to work again.I thought it might be because of the number of aircraft in the folder (most are AI), but removing all but the default made no difference.Ever heard of that!Graeme

I've got a pretty good selection of planes in my FS2004 folder (to the tune of 15+ GB compressed, 25+ GB uncompressed!), but I realized recently that the one piece of payware I don't have is a light piston twin in the Baron 58 class. I've got the FSD Piper Navajo Panther, which is one great piece of work and I love it, but it's a bit bigger than the Baron. Then I took a look at the Dreamfleet Cessna 310L and the FSD Piper Seneca V. They both look nice, the C310 looks like it's a very interesting bird because it's more "vintage" (plus it just *looks* fast as heck), but I'm curious how the package holds up considering that it's been out for quite a while. I have Dreamfl…

After seeing Adeym's wonderfull new FS video, the question came up, once again, how can you change the voices with default ATC. If you have seen his movie, all the ATC clearences sound like real people other than computer generated voices. Is there a download that changes the pace at which ATC talks and the voices used? Thanks!! :-wave

I just saw this in a post on flying technique... but if you have not visited the FS2004 additional information site recently, I'd suggest you have a look, if only to discover the PDF downloads section of the FAA Terminal Procedures Publications.Having the approach charts for your favorite airports adds a lot of fun to the flying experience!http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...ree_add-ons.asp

I usually land so that I almost never have a negative pitch during approach. For some airstrips, this doesn't seem to be an appropriate technique (e.g. when landing with a DHC-6 at TFFJ).I'm now unsure how to proceed when such a diving approach is to be made, and what happens during it.My instinct says that I need to cut the trottles to idle during the dive (prop pitch full fine) and leave them there if possible until ground contact (which occurs with nose up, of course, it's clear that I need to pull the nose up the last moment ;-) ), is that true? Will the props produce enough drag so that speed doesn't increase to an extent where I'd need a stretched flare to make it dis…

Anyone have recent experieance with this product. I'm looking for something new. This seems pretty pricy. I did a search here and while there's lots said about Ariane I didn't see much about the latest offerings. Before I part with this kind of money it would be great to hear some other opinions. Thanks. Ok!I was climbing towards FL350 on a Lauda Air flight from LXGB-LOWW(Gibraltar-Vienna) as i reached about 27000 feet my engines flamed out, my gear came down, the autopilot went off as did the A/T and the FD and the weirdest thing of all, my kneeboard checklist came on and off a zillion times, whenever i tried to get it off the screen it popped up again like some bad advertising spyware. And nomatter how much i tried to get the gear go up, the gear lever forced itself down again to down!!!! WHAT!?!I was running fltsim on 4x speed, because i had to drive someone somwhere.I was also using PMDG B737-600, but i KNOW that the aircraft most likely didnt have anything with this …

Good day everyone,I saw some excellent previews of Fanda's upcoming Dash 8-300 (payware) on their site some months back, but since then the site has been down and I haven't heard anything else from the group. Does anyone have any information about it? How the project is coming along, costs, possible release soon, etc? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks,George
