Just curious if anyone would be interested in having an "SF-260" fan club where we could share pics of our flying, share flying techniques, stories etc. and just hang out type of deal. Something like the Emma Field Flying Club.

My brother and I share a cpu for the froums here. It listed under his e-mail account. I am new he has been at this a few years. I went and got a seperate e-mail address at hotmail and then tried regestering as a individual member. This resulted in a error message stating that the e-mail domain was not accepted due to being flagged by a filter (or somthig like that). Hello,I use fsnav and have acouple questions in relation the general use of FS9.I am not used to the GPS. I tend to nav using the methods of VOR's NDB's and the like. I guess I am accepting GPS is a must. I have found some redundences in fsnav and the GPS in FS9. Q1. I was wanting to know if you create a plan in fsnav will it show in the GPS like it will if the plan was created in the FS9 planner. The goal is to creaate the plan in one area and have it show in all nav tools to assist durring the transition. Q2. In the ral world cockpits to pilots have a tool (other than TCAS) to see or be aware of other aircraft in non-emergency situations. Or, do they reley sloely…

I have had a CTD problem with FS2004 since day 1. Before loading add-ons, after loading add-ons. Before 9.1 and after 9.1. Before re-installing, after re-installing. I have tried everything over the past several months.The CTDs only happen in the Intro screens when I am navigating around the Flying Lessons, Select A Flight, and Learning Center particularly. It will crash in different places at different times. Sometimes as soon as pressing the Flying Lessons button, sometimes after selecting a specific lesson, sometimes after selecting Fly Lesson Now, etc, etc. Once I am in a plane the sim never crashes. Well,After all these years of heavy iron the Realair C172 mod for the default C172 has finally caused me to cross over to the joys of the Daaark Siiieeede :)Question - why do some GA planes have a permanent aileron deflection with controls centered (result is a left bank)? - the wonderful Maule is like this, and an Archer I just removed, but not the TimAir C206, the Realair C172 or even the default GAs. Is this realistic?I don't think i have a control problem as it's not all planes - aileron trim for the sim is centered as far as I can tell from the default 737. I cannot take credit for this fix or tweak, it comes to me from one of my fellow pilots at Canadian Virtual Airlines. But this tweak is an important one, and one well worth checking into. It is the most important, effective tweak I have done yet. I recently shifted all my PAI aircrafts from fs2002 to fs9. In FS9 some aircraft textures are looking like "washed away" ( see screenshots). I tried to install the textures i with PAI installer, but got the same result. I also checked aircraft.cfg file. Does anybody know the reason?If you look at the screen shots, almost all Boeing aircrafts have problem with texture, only the A320 in the second image has no problem.

This may or may not be connected to the CTD problems of late but a couple of us are seeing full FS-9 PROGRAM CRASHES, complete with error messages to Microsoft, which appear to have started around the May 10-15 time frame. No new scenery has been added but we were both testing out a new Cirrus SR-20 aircraft when we started seeing the problem. My Scenery Designer Co-worker in Michigan is having the same exact problem(s). Along with the error message and the program croaking right in the middle of a flight (or sitting at the fuel pump) I am also getting an intermittent message on restart that I do not have sufficient memory. well theres good news and bad news, the good being i can get the plane down using APP hold, the bad news is that with anything more than 10 flap the angle is so severe it just looks unrealistic and wud give the PAX bit of a fright. With full flaps, 130 knots,gear down and at 2500 foot with the 757 pretty heavy, the airplane still can only maintain a 5 degree nose down angle. manually its certainly possible to approach with the nose up but AP doesnt seem to like it.i have devised 4 different solutions to defeat the autopilot, if this dont work, well ill be back to where i started.1) intercept the glidepath at 150 knots with 15 flaps, the second ive intercepted cut the thro…

It never happened before and really can't find a solution on my own.So, here i am!It happens in cockpit forward view and with every panel: panel.bmp doesn't has same size as background landscape but is slightly smaller! so all around panel.bmp i can see 1 mm. of background image.That's very annoying so, please, can anyone help?Thanks as usual for support and patienceLuigi ;-)

I am in the process of reinstalling everything on a Dell XPS gen 3.all the VC's look like crap. They seem out of focus for some reason. What parameter/settings do I need to set for making this look good?I can't seem to even read the nummers of any of the guages in VC.In my old Dell Dim 4400 ..everything looks good.

I'm looking for any Sim pilots in the SF Bay area who would be interested in getting together for some flying. I know there are VA's out there, but I thinking of more of getting together with are computers and flight gear for some fun and beer.
